  • Hello everyone, in this video I'll show you how to install handlebar risers on your Triumph Street Triple 675 and 765.
They're made by a German company called VOIGT MOTO TECHNIK .
The fit and finish of this handlebar riser is perfect. It comes as the whole kit incl. all the bolts you will need and instruction.
They will fit all the models of the Street Triple 675 and 765 incl. S, R and RS.
This modification will give you a more relaxed riding position, because those bar rises will nearly give you a straight up riding position.
This modification is not recommended for people who plan to ride more aggressively the street triple or bring the street triple to the race track.
In my personal opinion those handlebar risers are probably the best one which you currently can buy for your Street Triple 765/675, off course if you looking for one of them.

On reflection, would you go for the offset as shown, or just the standard riser ? Also, did you get on ok without the hose extension ? Very helpful vid 😊

Definitely I'll go with the offset like in the video. Much better relaxing riding position.
About the cables, it depends. I was lucky and all my cables including the brake cable were long enough, all I had to do was get the slack on the side cable holders and stretched them out. But I've bought brake cable extension just in case, because some people reported problems with to tight to short brake cable.

The brake cable extender is sold separately, I never said it included the handle bar risers. If you are lucky, your brake cable could be long enough so you won't need the brake cable extender.

Bonjour l'ami... peux tu me dire de quelle année est ta moto ? J'ai une RS 2024...et j'aimerais être sur de ne pas avoir besoin d'une rallonge de durite de frein... merci !

My bike is a 2022 model, but it's very hard to tell if you will need or don't need a brake hose extension. The company Voigt-mt which makes those bar raisers recommends buying and using brake hose extensions for all ST RS.
I was very lucky and in my case I didn't need it even when I bought it. Some other people who bought the same handlebars risers had to use brake hose extension, because the brake hose was too stretched/to short.

Please let me know how they feel after riding. I just don't feel comfortable w my handlebar position on my 22 Triple. Thanks.

They're really comfortable, they not only raise your handlebar but also bring it closer towards you.
They are still confidently inspiring around the corners but with less aggressive body position.
If you don't bring your bike to the race tracks, and all your rides are public roads they will really help you stay longer in the saddle without pain in your back.

Do they affect the turning radius of the bike now that they are nearer to the the tank of the bike?

    • @darekz9777
      @darekz9777  3 місяці тому +1

No at all, they don't affect your turns, you can still fully turn the bike both ways.

Choose your bike and model, and then choose what bar riser do you want, they offer 2 different types of bar risers: one type will just rise up your handlebar 25mm, and the other one rise up your handlebar 30 mm with offset 20 mm. I've got that second type: voigt-mt.de/Handlebar-risers-30-mm-with-offset-20-mm-for-Triumph-Street-Triple-765-R-RS-S-silver-anodized
      You may need also:

      for you brake cable.

I did just that today on my 2019 triple r with an auto mechanic and we slowly pulled the cables. It was all well but now the bike won t start. I know have to get a platform and take it to a moto mechanic. What a hustle and waste of money

I totally disagree with you. Those handlebar rises are a great piece of kit, well made, and give you a much better comfortable riding position without sacrificing bike performance.
I think you must pull those cable wiring looms too hard so you ripped/damaged some wires, that's why your bike won't start.
You should first loosen or unbolt those side frame wiring looms holders, and then only gently pull the cables to get enough slack.
I'm afraid that now you will have to trace all that wiring loom connections to find out where it's the problem. Best of luck.

Do you know if this would work for a 2010 street triple r 675?

The bar risers from this video are designed only for ST 765, but this company makes them also for ST 675
