YES. Thanks you Anthony Fantano for putting me on to Brutalism. Every song this band writes echoes my deepest thoughts and expresses them artistically and beautifully! Love it!
IDLES are absolutely one of the best bands of the last 10 years, especially in Punk. Cannot wait to see them live when I get a chance, as well as hear this album in Autumn!
I love how perfectly Joe delivers the lyrics in this video. I'm not sure if it was just an exemplary day for his vocal chords or because the guitara are too low in the mix but this is excellent, either way.
The drummer is beyond skilled, he may not show it all the time but his technical drumming style is so hard to find these days (like John Wright from NoMeansNo or Lucky Lehrer)
@@gmantramp404 it's not a band to really play odd timing and stuff to if your the drummer. Stewart Copeland was part of an incredible rhythm section, not a comparable band I don't think. The most sinister and brooding track I’ve heard in years. Absolute class from Britain’s best live band. Real Indie music, not shit boy band Bastille or the 1975.

Absolutely. Hopefully we're not gonna find out soon that they're great friends with Ed bleedin' Sheeran! Every other fucker and his horse seems to be.
