“Being an unmarried childless woman you don’t understand what being a farmer with 8 kids is like”
Well, she’s not really an actual farmer firstly
Secondly, it doesn’t matter if you don’t have the same lifestyle as the person you’re interviewing. You’re still observing them and asking the questions you have to ask. Why wasn’t this woman allowed time and space to do an interview without kids crawling all over her? Oh that’s right cause she has 8 of them with no help. That’s just the reality that was observed 🤷‍♀️

Why does that only apply to farm wives /SAHM? If we are going with that logic, it would make a journalist unsuitable to comment on a doctor's lifestyle , on a marine , on a traveller. May be the journalist is not the one with a preconceived notion here. It's rather projection on this woman's part . She has a preconceived notion about what a childless , unmarried , journalist's agenda would be.

There is not a single good reason for a man of his means (literally billions built on fleets of private jets) to have his wife not have her own car as a means of some sort of access to the outside world. Mind you, SLC is 40 mins away so it's not like she's zipping away, living out the SATC life 😂 Even if it's purely for convenience or safety. My husband and I earn good money and with both working and living in central London (after being in Manhattan a few years), we don't need or want a car. But we've spoken about eventually moving out, even 30 mins door to door from downtown, and me potentially staying at home with the kids for their first few years. He's said in that case, "you're not going to be here sitting duck alone at the mercy of god knows who if there's an emergency with a kid or yourself," and we're definitely getting a car just for me even only for peace of mind. I understand it's not an option for every family and the woman usually pays the price (if a couple can only afford one car and the husband needs it as the primary breadwinner) in terms of feeling isolation and alienation. In this case, it doesn't make sense other than purely as a means to control and keep her there. With their means and resources, to not even have a car as a backup is abhorrent, honestly (I’d think it’d be completely reasonable for her to have it purely as her side to maybe drive out and get a break from it all from time to time).

It’s incredibly important for children to grow up having an opportunity to LEARN how to take care of others! We grow up without any experience, then are expected to have our own children and take care of them perfectly. No, it doesn’t work that way. Children, that are growing up in big families, are incredibly lucky: they get to learn to be on their own, take care of others, get to experience parenting, take care of themselves, and grow up not becoming egocentric.
Single children, on the contrary, are suffocating by all the attention parents give them. They aren’t getting used to taking care of others, being independent, etc. And they grow up without the opportunity to learn to take care of small children and have difficulty parenting their own.

I don't believe women with handprint bruises who claim they just fell down the stairs, and I don't believe that a Juilliard-trained ballerina would willingly give it all up to go play little house on the overpopulated prairie with a man who thinks an apron is a good birthday gift either.
The sad part is she was groomed for abuse in a religion that puts men in charge and only values women as wives and mothers. She probably does believe this is where she belongs, that she's doing "the right thing", but no one will _ever_ convince me she's truly happy. She might smile for the camera, but she's just making the best of a situation she doesn't feel like she can ever escape.

I’m the middle child of 5, my older siblings did not look after me, in fact they would be outside of the house the instant they had the chance, because they were children and that’s how they think. But I took it upon myself to “play house” clean, cook, and look after other family members. I didn’t have a childhood and suffered from deep long lasting depression because of it. This is abuse.

So many people just seem upset that the dream they had about his creator is not what they thought it was.
Im listening to the WW reply, and what they find "inspirational" about her is looking pretty for the male gaze after giving birth and baking, and the labor she does on the farm. They rarely mention that she is doing all this on her own, that she's running a business, or that she is doing it on her own because her husband makes her!
Sure, she chose this life, but when you put it online, you invite EVERYONE to se and make comments, and if they don't see it how you present it, that's not their fault. She looks like a servant in her household, and that's how her husband wants her. He wants her pretty enough to sleep with, but too tired from all her labor to actually think about herself. That's cruel.
One commenter online said "The cruelty is the point". And it is. This man wanted to stop her trajectory in life, and he did. She is the ultimate prize for him in that respect.

Daniel/his father saying the article "painted them in a bad light just for clicks and views" gives the air of DARVO (from Google: "DARVO is an acronym for "deny, attack, and reverse victim and offender", a manipulative tactic used by perpetrators to avoid responsibility for harmful behavior. It's often used in abusive relationships, such as domestic abuse or sexual assault, when the perpetrator is confronted by their behavior.")
The journalist, I imagine, was trying to get the story from Hannah, but Daniel couldn't leave well enough alone. He probably knows the subjugation he puts her through is questionable (deep down, way deep down), and he probably feared what would happen if his property--I mean wife--spoke to another adult woman that wasn't indoctrinated in the Mormon cult alone.
Hannah said a lot in what little she could say.

ballerina is the one who's account is named after, she is the one who's always in front of the camera, and she's the one whom the journalist wanted a ONE ON ONE interview with ... so of course the journalist would want to interview ballerina ON HER OWN without her husband as a chaperon breathing down her neck...
and lets say that she 100% wanted all of this, the way her husband literally stalked and trapped her into the marriage - that alone is a HUGE red flag... the guy probably had his rich daddy pull some strings to trap her on that plane with him when they first met, and she KEPT TELLING HIM NO, but he still wouldn't listen ... its not like she had a fear of commitment or anything, she just didn't like him ... but he went along and stalked her until she gave in ...
this is why so many of us have forgone relationships and marriages altogether ... we don't want to be forced into something we don't want, and we sure as hell don't want to be ran through the ground till we finally drop dead from exhaustion ... just watch, when they reach their 50s (that is if she's still alive and healthy) he will start looking for the next youngest and prettiest thing and he'll abandon her with their kids ... i also heard that she doesn't have her name on any contract or lease or any money? yeah, lets just hope her life doesn't end in disaster. hopefully the money she gets from social media is in HER bank account and not his/their joint one.
also, the "new & improved" article is most definitely done by Daniel's daddy pulling some strings to have them in a better light ...
being a stay at home mom is wonderful, when the woman is 100% on board, has some help if they're a lot of kids, and MOST IMPORTANTLY has her own money/source of income... do not, i repeat, DO NOT be 100% financially dependent on your husband. you can't trust your husband (or wife) 100% . there needs to be a healthy 1% of doubt; mostly when it comes to finances.

I believe the journalist had an agenda. However, two things can be true at the same time. It is also quite clear that Hannah, in ten, maybe twenty, maybe, even thirty years, is going to be someone who regrets the choices she made in her younger years. This marriage, apart from giving her children who I'm sure she loves benefits her in no way, and her body and soul are going to continuously be worn down for a long time. Let's not forget that they are Mormon. All her life she has been surrounded by girls who got married after high school or during or immediately after college. It doesn't matter how famous she is. She is religious, and religion is a huge part of what keeps women in a marriage and acts as a block to any logical thinking. As long as he is not physically abusing her, the probability of her seeing any other signs of emotional abuse traits like his selfishness and how inconsiderate he is of her feelings is very low. This is why I say in twenty, maybe even thirty years, she will probably regret a lot. I do not think we should pity her or keep talking about her. Right now, she is still so young, not for a while, will she realise what has been done to her. I hope when she does, she comes out to say something, but I think we should leave her alone. The journalist had an agenda, it is quite clear to see as there were ways to have just stated what she saw and experienced without casting judgement, it still doesn't mean that what she wrote is untrue.

Some of the reactions to this Ballerina Farm stuff are so over done. I don't have an issue with the journalist at all. If anything Hannah and her husband need to reflect on the content they post and why they signed up for the interview in the first place. The video of her getting an egg apron alone corroborated parts of the article. The bigger issue I saw was not how she lives or her faith but moreso how her husband doesn't convey true love and care for her as a person and as a mother. He is lacking an empathy gene if he can speak to his wife's extreme exhaustion and do nothing about. Or when he can't give her a gift but only items to do more work, or the fact that before she can respond he is making a point that she should be grateful by telling her "your welcome" before she can say thanks.
They chose to put their life on display and they need to deal with the consequences of that - whether the feedback is positive or negative.
The only thing I think the journalist is negligent is how she opened her article in setting the stage of her insights and maybe a lack of consideration for the fact she didn't really get to see how they live and that her words could have a negative effect on her living environment - depending on the true nature and type of person Hannah and her husband are.
The journalist's response sounded coerced, not genuine and that would make sense based on who the extended family is and the impact to their lives.

Her relationship is ultimately her business, but let’s call a spade a spade - she got a secret epidural when her husband wasn’t around to stop her. Taking away your ability to make your own medical decisions is ABUSIVE even if she “consents” to the relationship, and both she and the women doing mental gymnastics to defend her are trying to normalize it “just a lifestyle choice”. Yeah, it is - a shitty, abusive choice that is difficult for most women to get out of and that ballerina farm sells for literal money online. It’s not about saving her, at least for me - we have to warn younger women about the reality of this lifestyle, because ballerina farm is not proving a realistic expectation, and a lot of ex trad wives have ended up broke or worse giving everything to their husbands and families without a backup plan. Talking about these things is important, and btw I have literally never watched a single ballerina farm vid in my life.

Stating in the new article that she is basically sweet and loves being a mother does not negate the fact that the dude basically loved bombed her and stole her light. However, a few points that I picked up was Daniel's comment how Hannah seems to be ready for another baby 9 months after she had had a previous one. (Really??) I also picked up on the fact that she told Daniel she wanted to finish Julliard, which didn't happen. She also gets no outside help, although Daniel does help out with the kids. He made the comment that she wears herself out occasionally, leaving her to have to spend days (or a week) in bed. She mentioned also that it was Daniel's dream to be a farmer. Was she brainwashed? Maybe more from growing up Mormon than from her husband, which I'm pretty sure touts the man as the head of the household. To each their own. I think childbirth is extremely hard on the body; who knows if as the years go by it will cause prolapse of the uterus or bladder. It certainly can.

I don’t know much about these people but from what I can tell the angle was pretty rude. Imagine sharing what you think is a happy home with wholesome children and you get portrayed as some tired maid with rugrat ankle biters that don’t know how to conduct themselves when company is over. Also getting accused of being abused over and over again by the internet and now a journalist you thought was genuinely interested in you and your life story.
Plus I am not sure if most people know this but dancers don’t have a long career, bad she always knew she would make sacrifices when she decided to have a family. Not to mention she insisted that she leave being a ballerina after getting married.
Not every marriage is perfect and it may seem weird to some but they seem happy albeit a bit exhausted. She’s not a child and being a ballerina may have been her dream but perhaps not her only dream? She is allowed to change her mind and give up something for another dream.
I do notice her husband may be a bit less selfless than her like come on you can take your wife on a trip to Greece. 😅
Plus the journalist did have a fixed mindset about who she was interviewing, maybe not an agenda but clear bias towards her interview subjects.

Being pick me’s for Daniel won’t make another guy pick you for this lifestyle that you idolize. Daniel controls every aspect of her life In the larger sense. She does not have the power to leave and she gave up her career, is In pain when she gives birth unless Daniel isn’t their and Daniel abused his power in order to start a relationship with her. It isn’t “romantic” and women with low self esteem will always defend a man under the guise of a woman having a choice if they envy that woman for her lifestyle.

I haven’t read both articles but I know people who live this lifestyle will defend it even when it is a hurt to themselves. However even though I haven’t read it I believe the third commenter. I’ll
    Read it and come back

Women for millennia--until very recent history in western culture-raised 8+ children without help.
It blows my mind that people think we need nannies and service providers.
Many cultures today draw within their families and communities to raise their families. Some do it alone.
This is nothing new. We just judge it with our entitled, narrow view of what life is, completely forgetting there is a world outside of us.

Women didn’t rise their kids on their own. They had the oldest children be parents to their younger siblings, and is it not help when you’re delegating the task of child rearing to other family members? The only difference is you don’t pay the people you’re related to. This was a bad take.

It shocks me every time I see women defending other women's abusers. But it was useful in some way, it helped me identify and block quite a lot of low-key anti-woman influencers and UA-camrs.

Very rich coming from Hannah. She is lying herself. She lives a totally different life off-screen, doesn't wear those humble dresses and no make up, but designer clothes and a lot of make-up. The enormous mansion of Daniel's daddy is also nearby and they go there often. And yeah they probably also went to Greece after all

She is being abused!! The problem is a lot of people don’t want to real listen and understand the dynamic and people don’t know how scary rich people are
First she doesn’t have anything in her name
Second the men is forcing her to have a lot of kids by refusing protection
Third she is being mocked on public
Example in her video when he give her a present she said airplane tickets husband lie to her yes your tickets and he give her an egg apron and he said you are welcome that is gaslight and pressure to force her to say thank you
Also she doesn’t have her own bank account that speaks volumes and how much this woman is being controlled by him.
People who have money they have access to many things and get away examples your bank accounts take your money and because they have connections if you go and sue them their connections erase those traits also they can take your papers and make you legally disappear I had a friend who went through and I saw how much corruption really was from the police to the judges even from neighbors how they lie because they got some cash.
Because these people really can make you disappear and create a fake history that you end it yourself so to all women Rich people are worse than regular men the lengths they go are far worse and you are lucky if you get out alive

It’s not an agenda if the journalist was communicating FACTS… and fact is, Daniel stalked Hannah at the start of their relationship. No ifs, ands or buts. If the couple have a problem with the journalist stating facts, maybe they should consider the foundation their marriage is built on 🤷‍♀️

The journalist "clarifying" her assessment is likely a concession made under threat. That cult is a very, very, very powerful and connected organization. If you don't have the money to stay in court for months or years you capitulate. So, her clarifications may mean nothing more than someone capitulating under the gun. I mean, the under-the-wire assumptions you have made about the journalist because in your estimation, who is she to have an opinion when she doesn't a kid? Even if you want to portray her as someone who has no bona fides because she doesn't have a kid, the thing that you, maybe conveniently, seem to ignore is the testimonies of the women who have had the kids, who had the hubby, who submitted to "tradition" and have left that cult, who concur with the journalists observations, who have said that that organization can and has made those women's lives pure, absolute hell because they left. Many women who dared to leave have had their lives utterly ruined and some have been stalked and threatened. They have been alienated from their children, tied up in legal cases for years. These cults have been described as almost mafia-like in their brutally coercive tactics.

I understand the appeal of a country life, if I could do so, I certainly would. But how do I put this, isn't it disappointing for her to be married to someone so rich and live as if she were poor? They could easily pay 1 or 2 employees. And she could do only what she likes. Or maybe what she does is exclusively for social media, and the rest of the time she does have help.

Just highlight a list of objective facts in the article and decide for yourselves. For example, she never answered a question without looking to her husband for approval. This is a fact, agenda or no agenda.

I think since they’d put almost all this info out there before the article they probably did feel blindsided by the negative comments but it’s all there to see. People seem to be projecting a lot about this situation
