I have an issue where when i unlock the door with the key, the key turns all the way (almost complete circle) and when this happens it mis-aligns the interior lock knob. Is this something wrong with the latch itself that I could replace just that, or something internal in the lock mechanism?

Unbelievable, brand new, stuck in, took it back out ogf the door and the entire latching assembly fell apart.
