In the district of Jalgaon, a region in the state of Maharashtra with increasingly erratic rainfall and poor soil quality. Years of intensive farming and poor irrigation methods have also led to a steady degradation of soil, which has impacted the livelihoods of local farmers. This prompted one environmentalist to try out other regenerative farming methods, adapted to the specific needs of the region.

Such documentry must be shared in local language in all states
Some people say that the govt kneeled down for farmers, khalistanis etc when it repealed the recent agricultural bills but they don't get it, we need nature based farms , everything can't be technological and industrialised, we need open green spaces, farms, cultural and natural beauty, how can they even support those sort of agendas?
I like what the old man said towards the end. India is food secure country we need to make it nutritious country.
Hats off to dr. saab 🙏
Thanks for presenting us this success story
Great initiative to improve one’s health as well as Lifestyle.
Dr you are doing great job for community. Chemical free farming will definitely improve indian peoples health and life. 👍👏
Soil health ! Plant health !! Human health !! Is closely linked
@@drprashantrajput682 Your efforts are more than just a appreciation. I am farmer with engineering background.. How can i contact you? Just want to a bring a change in my Village, I am from Vidarbha.
Proud of You Dr Prashant ❤️,
Definitely will share your work with all,and you will find us every were you need us
Regenerative agriculture should be mandatory. It's a win-win change.
Prashant you are doing a great thing only few people's are like you continue doing this and all the best for your work
Doctor Prashant ji 🙏hatts off to you. My humble request is start youtube channel with English subtitles so people from any location can access the knowledge you are sharing
What I liked in this video is Dr Prashant Rajput's resolve and confidence to move to regenerative farming and give people nutritious food for good health.
Really Dr. prashant yu are the really focused on this epic thing.. And yu are revolutory activist for the soil conservation.. You are the real environmentalist.. Keep it up.. Great job!!!!
Congratulations Dr Prashant!!!
I am a Swedish historian who has visited India several times and is writing a book about the culture in your country. My book will also be about farming and i am impressed of you Dr Prashant. Very interesting and hopeful after the negative effects of the Green Revolution.
Amazing
Health of Future plan and next Generation lifestyle vere outstanding and healthy .
Vere nice video keep it up
Beautifully Shot ...
Love what doctor did to make soil organic
Good job Mr. Dr. Prasant.👍👍
I wish farmers could sell their produce directly to their public on their farm
I doing organic compost with food waste.
Excellent content 👌
Jai HIND 🇮🇳
Simply great Dr. Prashant Rajput..
Good..taking care of health of future generation Dr. Sir.
Organic content of soil must be increased and improved. Most of farmers out of greed use excessive amount of chemical pesticides and fertilisers leads to degradation of soil. Farmers must be educated in this regard.
Salute to Organic agriculture
As it seems perfect but it isn't.
The microbial decomposition of biomass releases very high amount of methane , which is 34 time stronger green house gas . So , instead of decomposition in field we can collect and decompose it in facility so methane can be stored.
And decomposed biomass can be return back to farmers.
Yes when we scale these management practices up, other problems of such losses and emissions will surface. Anaerobic digestion along with biogas production could indeed be an option to look into. Collaboration between many farms can help exploit economies of scale...
Impressive.. Thank you Dr. For showing us new way of farming
#savesoil , without healthy soil nothing will be left on the planet
Good information.for.farmer.....from.Karbi anglong
Excellent very informative
Amazing work!
Fabulous work Dr Prashant 👍🌹
It's very phenomenal Dr Prashant. Keep it up 👍
There is train which goes to bikaner from bhatinda that trains known as cancer train because mostly cancer patients use to travel in that train usually full of patients..the cost of treatment of cancer in bikaner charitable hospital is lower than in punjab.
Great job
Excellent
Excellent stuff !
Wageningen Agricultural University is still spouting the story that ecological farming is 'nice but less productive'.
Would be really good to come up with a number of cases (and the figures) to prove them wrong.
Literature does back that "story"! We definitely need more scientifically rigorous data in any case. Here too, the farmer still said he chose to shift to these methods even though yields were lower..
Very nice! Thanks.
Governement should definitely ban the selling of all these chemical poisons and move back to organic culture, with the valuable help of oxes and cows, and Sri Krishna will bless you all!
Very informative

There is no 'can be' about Regenerative Agriculture. It works, we know why it works and have proved it over and over again. BUT you can't expect it to work in isolation. For instance a dry interior is due to the wasteland between it and the coast where the rain comes from: see Dr. Walter Jehne; also see the solo efforts in the American desert region. But successful individual efforts can lead the neighbours to rethink; and even that can't be guaranteed as numerous examples exist involving decades of intransigence from land-owners just over the fence all over the planet. Farming is the heart and soul of dull-headed conservatism. Sometimes the politicians can be useful, but not often.
Great video, wsh the govt would ban the use of these toxic pesticides all over India. this is terrifying and detrimental to the soil and people and all other forms of life
Great message and great content 🙏

Companies like Monsanto should be taken to the International Court and charged with manslaughter or murder and made pay for restoration of soils world wide.
Its a great initiative sir👍🙏
Someone needs to make a longer documentary in Hindi / local languages for farmers in India. Like "Kiss The Ground" made for the American farmers.
#SaveSoil
What about paste control??
Can you throw light on the price difference in regenerative and chemical farming
Hat's off🙌🙌🙌🙏🙏
U must have used Animation to explain regenerative farming
God bless you Dr sir. Pls let us know if we can attend your classes too. I'm from Hyderabad. we want to adopt this.
There is a waste land in punjab which is degraded due to excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Some people said if you put your feet on the surface of that land .you will become sick. people are getting sick due to cancer and kidney desease. Soil get alkaline salted. . And now farmers are doing shrimp farming.we can regenerate soil with this technique by using indian indeginus cows and multilayer mixed farming.
May i know How to control the pests on canopy of trees?
Very nice content
DW Hindi reported the same story with same character and same places
Who is the voice over artist for this video
Nooshin Mowla - also the Supervising Producer
Very good video with no practical knowledge
we must remove all these chemicals, fertilizers, even if we need to import foods
It will be better if you use Hindi, Marathi language so that people can understand more..
Why this people talk about regenerative farming, usage of cover crops were all invented in west, we are doing in for thousands of years only after the so called "Green revolution" our farmers turned to chemical based farming, even then some parts Bharat preserved the methods till date, we have very specific tree (called poosam in Tamil) to provide leaves that mixed with natural fertilizer (cattle dung) to strengthen the soil in our villages farmers still use that method though the methods had been changing in last 15 years
good, Some people say that the govt kneeled down for farmers, khalistanis etc when it repealed the recent agricultural bills but they don't get it, we need nature based farms , everything can't be technological and industrialised, we need open green spaces, farms, cultural and natural beauty, how can they even support those sort of agendas?
{Not-so-off-topic: }Why am I getting 2 notifications for the same upload since past several weeks?
What is agricultural university doing they don’t train farmers how to use these toxic pesticides, and gmo seeds which they are peddling ecosystem of foreign academia and business corporates . The traditional seeds and organic farming are to be adopted subhash pale,ar has to be followed not these quick money toxic boom
It's it India is a English country
What is hypocrisy: Western Media our countries produce more chemical farming materials and teach others about organic methods which were followed earlier by eastern countries.
Which autoimmune disease?
CKD (U)
Very careless Fertilizer, he don't have any personal protection ⚠️
This regenrative farming is not western. If you go and see villages not affected by chemicals oir ancestors used multi crop farming 1000s of years ago.
All of this is fine... yet what are you doing for waste garbage human waste "tatti" which each prani does.. what are youd oing towards it? how are you finding new clean hygeinic methods cutting diseases pathogens dysentries clean waters so what is being done for that .. start from that point please...
Please stop quoting the West for everything
This is organic farming and not regenerative agriculture.
Our regenerative work is a 4 hour video
@Dr Prashant Rajput it's not about the length of the video. It is about the permaculture design and its principles in application/action missing here. Nevertheless this is great effort. But it's not regenerative agriculture.
@@drprashantrajput682 where can i see that video
Regenerative Ag follows 4 basic principles of nature
1. No tillage
2. Covering the soil
3. Living roots
4. Livestock integration
5. Improving water cycle
6. Maintaining the soil food web
Each of these processes are regenerative by definition and is regenerative agriculture. We are doing this now on a scale of large farming systems with significant improvement in soil health, plant health and human health , you have to visit to understand a 10 min video is not enough to understand the whole system.
Permaculture may be similar
Sir wanted to learn about regenerative farming, pls let us know how to contact u sir.
