    Biogas + vermicompost used in tandem from organic waste can be an excellent usage which can hugely benefit farmers

    These are composting worms, living near the surface hiding under the fallen leaves, manure. Their extreta then becomes food for the earthworms who burrows under the ground bringing nutrients with them. Excellent cycle.

    Worm casting while applied on proper quantities can decrease synthetic ferliser applications by 30 percent in the 1st year and by 50 percent from 2 nd year onwards
    We cant completely avoid synthetic fertilisers in commercial family especially the quick releasing nitrogeneous fertilisers

    What about methane released in the environment.

      Can you expand on what the concern is?

      Methane? From what earthworms!? 🤣🤣🤣

    • @Drawwithauto
      @Drawwithauto Рік тому +1

      @@vicky116 It is true that decomposition releases methane. The best way to do it would be to store the methane and carbon dioxide that's being produced during the process.

    • @Drawwithauto
      @Drawwithauto Рік тому +2

      @@heronthere Earth worms produce a lot of methane. Emissions that come from worms can actually be 290 times more potent than carbon dioxide and 20 times more potent than methane. Methane is not a greenhouse gas, still it is considered to be 25 times as potent as carbon dioxide at trapping heat. Therefore, it is a matter of concern
