- In this epic off-road 4WD adventure, a couple of mates take a Suzuki Jimny and a tiny JDM Turbo Kei Truck on a multi-day journey in this feature length Season Finale of Mighty Car Mods. Marty and Moog, creators of the the "Worlds Best 4X4 channel" clearly have little idea what they're doing but that's not going to stop them from taking you along for a wild ride through Australian bushland, beaches, mountains and highways with some almighty adventures along the way.
What happens when a couple of mates who know nothing about 4 wheel driving hit the dirt for a few days? Something like this!

Thanks for being legends!
merry christmas to you and yours guys
Since you guys don't call eachother Marty and Moog; did you guys each write your nickname om this comment? 🤨🤔😅
Merry Christmas, guys and thank you for all that you do! ❤️❤️❤️
Merry Christmas
Thanks for what you guys do for us
Kudo's to the ever present silent camera person(s) who spends so much time with Marty and Moog without laughing during filming!

It’s Cheryl.

Who films?
It's Rake, coz he loves this ❤
Over a decade later, and still the best car show on the internet.
half hour in and so far ive seen crying about going to fast and playing on gravel roads, crying about going up a hill and giving up after 4 seconds of wheel spin, and crying to get winched out after purposely getting stuck in 6" of mud... hopefully the second half is better but so far this is on par with "reality tv shows" where they invent a problem and yell about it for 24 minutes then do 35 seconds of work and goto commercial break.. its sad
@@AndrewBrowner What show are you watching? The free one that's made by a couple of bros enjoying some time outdoors?

What I love about MCM and I've loved for nearly 10 years is that Moog and Marty are so relatable and true. They don't pretend, don't put on some fake show, they are just two humble, simple dudes from Straya who enjoy their life and share the expirience online. MCM was, is and will be my favourite YT chanel of all time.
Very cool message. Thanks mate
Definitely bro. I’m an old guy and MCM was the first thing I was ever interested in on UA-cam. Still the same all these years.
@@Bendejo-lm8wo Same here mate. MCM got me into working on cars and not being afraid of it!
Wonderful work, guys!
CarTrek with MCM
We need to see a collaboration between Tavarish and MCM that would be epic. Happy Christmas to you and your family and best wishes for 22.
you should come down man - fwiw logistically this entire film was within 30 miles of the Sydney metro train system.

The moment it turned into a cooking show. Cemented my love for this channel even after all these years. Well played fellas. You're legends of the UA-cam.
They need to do this more often. I've always liked that they mention snacks and some foods they eat, it's cool to see it though.
Agreed. On both accounts!
I had dinner not long ago and their wok cookup made me hungry again 😂😂
I love that after all these years this show is still just two mates, having an absolute blast and taking us along for the ride. Much love.
That's my favorite part about this show
2 mates with 3.61 million follower ...
The best 4x4 cooking sports-car show on the internets!
I would expect nothing less from what’s widely regarded as THE premier 4x4 and off-road channel on UA-cam. Well done, gentlemen. Legends.
Huh, I thought this was THE premier cooking channel on UA-cam…
Moog, For the 1st hill that you didn't have to climb, to get up that near-vertical rock face, you want to put your tire about 10"/25cm from the rock and apply throttle. Not a lot, just keep it constant and steady even if one or more tires are spinning. If you hit the rock face going too fast you'll bounce backwards. If you are going too slowly, your tires will just spin (like you did). If you hit it at just the right speed you'll pop up a little and momentum will carry you up and over. You definitely could have gotten that back tire up and I really think the Jimny could have made it up the taller rock face in the hands of a skilled driver. As always, great video!
definitely underestimating their vehicles capabilities. It all comes with experience. I was laughing when they pulled up for that puddle
Yes, I remember that concern and anxiety from obstacles well. Martin at one point said he was exhausted which made me chuckle because it did the same thing to me when I was learning, lol.
@@dontwobble I've seen puddles that size that look like they're nothing but are a good 2-3 feet deep, which is easily enough to swallow a Jimny 😂
He also had to lower his tyre pressure to 18-20 PSI
That's great advice 👍
But only if your tyre is bigger than the rock shelf... lol
Best present to wake up to on Christmas morning every year! This was excellent!
its 23.15 here,happy xmas!!
7 pm Easter us time here. Xmas eve watching over here
mexican hoon cartel was better tho
Every one of these episodes just makes me want a Moog cooking series more. Especially for outdoors cooking.
Literally would watch this for sure, especially if there was some aspect of cars worked into it. I really love the format of going out into the bush and doing camp cooking like they did here so tbh just more of this.

Can I just say a huge thanks to both Marty and moog as well as those involved in making these episodes. For those like myself who don’t have much to celebrate on Christmas it’s awesome to celebrate it with the community watching this amazing video you have gifted us.
Merry Christmas Matistherat
Keep your head up brother, remember life is good,
Thanks kings
@@MATISTHERAT Merry Christmas friend, may I also suggest the channel Randytaylor69, she used to post videos more but for the last few years its pretty much just been around christmas. It's not car related at all, but is similar in that a community shows up every year to watch and appreciate whatever crazy thing she's done this time
Totally agree. Merry Christmas mate.
I really love how you guys post something on Christmas every year. It had given me something to take my mind off not having a family to celebrate with. You guys are the bestt! ❤️
We're your UA-cam family, Merry Christmas🎄💯
They really are, reliable honest entertainment. Could watch it again.
Really appreciate that. Thanks mate
Merry Christmas man!
Carguys are a family. We just happen to live far apart. Stay strong brother.
It's kind of miraculous how extremely well choreographed, organized and how LONG the shots in the wok-cooking segment are considering how virtually zero time has been spent on the subject matter on either of the MCM channels before (a small enough percentage you could just disregard it really). It looks like it was all shot in one take and just edited for length. That's really incredible
I love it when Marty really cracks up Laughing and can't stop. Thanks for the adventures. These little 4WD's are some of the best things you've done . Glad you guys are having such fun with them.
14 years still going strong. Merry Christmas guys and all friends of MCM.

Now to see Alex Dakota and Shawn do it
Glad you’re enjoying it. All the best for 2022
Best gift any UA-camr could ever give to the fans, thanks Marty and Moog!
In an excess of enthusiasm an Australian blurts out "That's better than a meat pie!"

Best part is that he was vegetarian for the first 20+ years of his life

Absolute strap on legends. ❤
Cruiser guy here. Lighter and shorter vehicles make for much better sand driving. You want speed, the more the merrier, sorta to get the wheels on top of the sand wake. Give it a bit more beans and feel it float up and start skimming the top. It really does feel live driving a boat.
Also damp compacted sand good, loose dry sand good, loose damp sand bad.
Other 4WD channels: Building a 4WD rig with a budget of a new apartment.
MCM: A Kei 4WD seem capable enough.
Not all... some do focus on budget builds (back packer specials) like *Intents* whilst Brett on the *Roaming the Outback* channel restored and kitted out an older Landrover for offroad touring 👍
I’ve been watching you guys since I was in High School. I’ve graduated from Uni and have been working as a mechanical engineer for the past four years. I’ve truly grown up watching you guys! Keep it up!
The K Tipper would be a good little fair weather camper. Just add a sliding extension to the bed, a canvas tarp and you're sleeping pretty👍😉
It would be an even better soft road camper if Marty used it in 4WD mode to get thru puddles...lol
So humble about the fact they are the best 4x4 channel on the internet
I will never NOT punch lettuce from this day forward. Thank you for this wisdom.
It’s the way to go 100%
Please make some more off road adventures ! These two videos have been by far the best to watch
I love these adventure videos. The MCM guys are a different flavor of the vehicle adventure genre. While I also like shows like CarTrek where it is more like TopGear where they battle it out and tease each other, it is played up for views and is more adversarial. MCM adventures are more like good friends working as a team to reach a goal. This is my favorite.
Makes me think this is what me and my late best friend Philip would be doing if we got out in the woods to camp with a couple 4x4s. We used to camp on sand bars in the river, set up a trout line across and cook what we caught for dinner. Man, I miss him so much. I still have the great memories, though.
Quality. Love this. Especially funny when watched back to back with a 4WD 24/7 episode 😆
Honestly this is an excellent 4x4 channel, haha. You guys experienced and captured what off roading is really about; it's more about exploring with your friends, having silly problems, and the continuous friendly banter and reasonable pushing of your friends to do things they're not comfortable with without putting them in real danger.
This video motivates me to get my Jeep running and driving again.
Thanks for another year of content topped off by this epic finale. Releasing these feature length films on Christmas day means more to alot of us than you'll ever know. Good to have something to look forward to on Christmas day. Cheers fellas
I knew when watching this for the first time that Marty's 4wd wasn't working from the get go. It should've easily made it through that mud though it didn't help that he kept stopping and then barely giving it gas. SEND IT MAN!
Can we just appreciate how sharp that knife is
You could really tell how steep the first hill is when Moog got on it with His 4x4. Best 4x4 on UA-cam!
20:00 Pretending to get stuck so your friend can use their winch that they're dying to use. Wholesome AF
I've lost track of how many years its been since I found this channel, but it's been heaps of fun watching things develop along the way! Merry Christmas from Washington State, USA!
Likewise ^ but from New York State!
Thank you Moog and Marty for this film and all 14 years of MCM and many more to come.
Merry Christmas to everybody! Be Safe!
Be excellent to each other!
Ahhh Wisemans Ferry and Blacksmiths Beach, two of my favourite holiday haunts as a kid in the 1960's. Great show guys, very enjoyable.
Thank you so much for doing this every year. It means a lot to have something to look forward to and get away from everything else.
Love it when my favorite 4x4 channel also makes better programs than cooking shows! ❤️
What i love when watching any MCM videos is that i feel like they're just like your friends working together with your cars and having that chill bonding with them. Can't wait to see more of your future videos mates.
That EPIC drone shot on the beach was all worth it! Thanks for the whole year guys!
Newcastle local currently living in frost bitten canada. This was an awesome way to spend my Christmas eve. Feeling very nostalgic seeing all those familiar places! Merry Christmas MCM, thank you ✌
hey from "The 'Sset" lol. Kinda weird despite who remote it looks the whole film is within about 40k of the Cityrail network eh lol.
I lived on Redhead Bluff back in the day. The beach shots caught it in the distance.
Quick tip for sand driving and any air down situation.
The idea is to get more of the tyre onto the ground, letting air out lets the tyre conform more to the ground, in sand it helps you float, off road it moulds round obstacles, a harder sidewall does the opposite, helpful to not damage a tyre from cuts etc. bad for getting more float.
Youll also find mud tyres are about as bad as they get for sand as they dig down, generally a big floaty warn down tyre is best on sand, check out Matts off road recovery and youll understand what i mean. For most people a good all terrain is all youll ever need, great off road, snow, sand and the black stuff.
Loving the videos guys!
@Marty - Started out our 4X4 adventures with Dad's Daihatsu Rocky (diesel) and later a mate added a Daihatsu Feroza to the little group who'd go on adventures together. You'd be proud of where those little buzz boxes went... beaches, mountains, deserts... from Fraser Island to the Canning Stockroute they had a great time. After 10 years Da eventually up sized to a Paj but the original Rocky and my mate's Feroza are still with us in the shed awaiting the resto treatment. Keep having fun you two, thanks for the great videos over the last 14 years and Marty, please keep on keeping the Daihatsu nugget dream alive! 🤠
Your talk at the end. Reminds me of a thing James may said a few years back on top gear.
If you have a car with low limits, it's easier and more fun to drive on the limit. You don't need expensive cars to get the same feeling.
Was an episode about 4wheel drive and he drove a fiat panda 4 wheel drive. Against landrovers
We shared a base with some Aussie infantry once upon a time, every third dude was called Smitty regardless of rank, and every other dude could cook and knew exotic spices. It was the best time I ever lived in the desert.

Such an amazing episode, the editing and production value is totally out of this world, I really felt like I was there with you guys. Merry Christmas Moog & Marty!
Marty's flip flops in the last 3 minutes have made it for me. Fish on his feet!
Very cool adventure, guys! What a way to finish off 2021 and begin 2022. Looking forward to the next adventure!
The fish flops made me chuckle as well.

Merry Christmas Marty and Moog. Thanks for all the laughs and knowledge you've shared with us all over what was a pretty shitty year. You guys are awesome.
My 2-year-old and I have just watched this entire film together. He laughed, he cheered, he pointed and waved, he tried to eat your stir fry. 10/10 quality content.
Excellent finale to the year. Love the 4wd content. almost expected Graham and Shaun from the 4wd 24/7 UA-cam channel to turn up on the beach to help out. What a great crossover that would be. Keep up the all the content and Seasons Greetings to you both.

Merry Christmas boys, thank you so much for all efforts this year!
Started watching from Malaysia over 10 years ago when you guys had your "Pimp My Ride-ish" intro till now. Love you guys being so down to earth and just keeping it real. Just 2 mates fiddling with their rides and enjoying themselves. Keep it going guys!
One of the best videos you guys have released in the 14 years of watching you guys. And it’s just watching you two be best mates going out on an adventure not knowing much about what’re you’re doing. Very different to what you guys normally do but you suit being the best 4WD channel on UA-cam 😁 Lots of laughs ! Happy New Year Marty & Moog I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us in 2022.

My gawd, I love watch you two. I look forward to your videos every week. Thank you for doing this for 14 years (I've been here for most of them)! You two are absolute legends. Keep it up! ~With love from California
being an aussie, i watched your show since you did a subaru in that driveway. I think you guys show the world what aussies are like and its great. You dont overuse slang and its like you just setup the camera and go, no script. You guys got me into cars and mods that are achievable rather than some guys doing a $10000 upgrade to a busted car thats too expensive for me anyway. This film you guys did really made me interested in 4wd adventures. My mate has been trying to get me to go for years, and im like " nah i like performance cars". But when Marty said that a 4wd just unlocks so much adventure, i was like "yeah i miss camping". You guys are the best 4wd channel on the pootube, because its really relatable to what it would actually be like. "do you know what we are doing", "nope", "ok lets figure it out". Just a fantastic show, always love new eps coming out. Keep up the good work guys, you are legends.

This is the best episode i've ever seen, keep going this way. Do some cooking stuff, and more adventures!
Thanks to your kei car videos, I've decided to take the plunge, and bought myself a brand new car. No more $5,000 RWD nuggets.
It's Jimny time, and, despite having one like Moog's as a work car for a little bit, the entire series of your Kei adventures kept me up at night. "Should I grab a Sambar? There's a cheap one nearby. Maybe a Joypop turbo? Nah, nah, Kei Jimny's are cheap here."
So I bit the bullet, and decided to book a test drive of a JB74. The cosmic unicorns aligned, and I kept running into Jimny's throughout the week as I counted down the days until I could go to the dealership. The day before I was due in, I met a man on my way to grab lunch; loveliest dude ever, and he showed me the mods in his Jimny.
And today, I drove it.
Today, I bought it.
Love is a funny thing, ain't it?
Fantastic work guys, great feature film. Merry Christmas everyone!
Having a light vehicle is actually a good way to go when going offroad. Especially sand, just keep moving and try not to get in anything too boggy. It's how people in VW Beetles and Mini Mokes used to do it, and with those cars several blokes can just lift the car out of the bog quite often.
You guys also need to partner up with a micro brewery and release an MCM line of Shit Beer.
