You could mod the Midget with an electric motor for more power. It would be a first for you guys but who knows if its possible. Anyways, love the channel. Its a bright spot every week I see a new episode.

Im not sure the popularity question was quite right, I would rather have the Kei truck due to its functionality but if I saw a Midget II driving down the road I would be way more excited to see it.

Should have included a task mid race, where the driver has to get out, load his truck then hurry up and get back in. then reach a destination point and deliver a payload. It would test the usefulness of Marty's trucks features.

Moog should custom build unequal length headers on his to make it sound a little meaner. Give it that little growl it needs. 😂 that’s if it can even fit.
Nah he should engine swap it to a Hayabusa sport bike engine! Then it’s still JDM, it would fit, it would have more power, and it would scream! That would be so epic!
If he can't register it for the road, why not go with straight pipes out the side? Really live that triple-lawnmower-engine life!

Personally I prefer the Midget. I would love to see it with a proper race suspension setup, maybe a bike engine swap and possibly even skirts to match the bumper. That's definitely a car I would love to commute in!

A popular mod for deco-tora (decoration trucks) is to side-pipe only one of the cylinders. You guys should give that a go, it sounds bad ass.
Now, a few little more mods for the Midget. Like maybe an engine swap, with something else small and Japanese? Like a Hayabusa motor.
“I’m going to show you what this midget can do,” sounds like the start to a video on a different website.

Don’t forget this is edited footage, cutting in and out of the car, could have cut that by 5 or 6 seconds either way with both of them. This is entertainment not real testing.
Lol the midget reminds me of when I buy something and then regret it a few days later, so I force myself to use it to justify the money I definitely lost.

I've never watched another UA-cam channel that I so painfully wished would show song names. I know a lot is moog but man I've listened to every song on the ol Spotify and there's some real gems on this channel I just can't find. Specifically the winner screen music this time around. I need it.
The visual appearance of the Midget has grown on me, hated it at the start now I wouldnt hate having one. Overall for daily life I'd be going the tipper though for sure

I also wonder how much extra the tipper weighs, and if a little weight reduction (remove the tray and tipper mechanism) would give the Kei Truck the advantage?
I'm excited to see this. Both those vehicles are just really unique!
The Kei Truck does have an advantage in the popularity contest because we've seen it prove itself as a work truck and off-roader. Plus, it makes choo-choo noises.
I also appreciate that you didn't artificially try to make the contest closer. It's refreshing seeing you guys just having fun testing out your mad little truck/utes rather than trying to create fake excitement about the contest.

This is so much better to watch than you two ONLY tear each other apart, even in jest. It feels like you are letting all of us in on the gag :D I've been watching for more years than I can quite remember, and I love what y'all do. I have a few posters, zip ties, other things I've ordered over the years. I just love the whole vibe of what you do. EDIT - both my cars are Chevy Bolt EV's - but the Kei trucks are able to be imported into the US now, and this has made me want a tipper so, so much........

I don't like cars very much. I especially not want to own one. But you guys make awesome content. This is not just about cars but about hobbies you are passionate about. I basically do the same thing with bicycles. A lot of the fun comes from putting them together and then ofcourse trying them out and see how they fare. Good job guys one of the most entertaining shows on youtube!

The midget has to be my favourite... Who needs practicality when you have something that looks that cool! Front mounted spare wheel, lights that stick out and mirrors big enough to probably see the whole truck.
