Didn't work for me. My watch still shows in feet, miles and pounds. But my phone shows in metrics
There's a separate setting for unit's in the settings of the watch itself.
Click on the watch symbol -> System (gear) -> Format -> Units.
@@jakidakieyou’ve just saved my sanity! Couldn’t work this out. Thanks. 👍
@@jakidakiethanks a ton! It works finally 😭
@@bettybeee where??
Great you explained it so well I was trying for ages to try and do this it was so simple in the end.😆👍
Does anyone know if there is a way to show lbs/ft/in and km instead of miles?
Yes it is simple to change and I have changed it to staute several times. But it does not matter how many times I have changed it, the watch face always displays KM!
I think u have to save changes.
Thank you, it was easy and simple.
When running my watch decided to start displaying my distance in feet rather than miles which is very confusing. I changed it to metric since it's a lot easier to work out kilometers from miles than it is miles from feet. Still rather be able to fix my original issue though.
Thank you! It helped indeed. Abrazo from Madrid 🌿
Thanks so much!!
Thanks but I want metric km and I want weightin lb. Is that possible in the app. It is on the watch.
No. It is a stupid product decision. They need to have a more customized option to tune the unit selection for temperature, weight, distance, etc.
@@wangfengfight I was wondering the same thing. I'd prefer lbs and km. Hopefully they'll allow for that in a future release of the app.
Really dumb that you can't better customize units of measure. Massive oversight..needs to be changed
Nice, but what phones can you do this on?
Helpful bro 👏🏾
Thanks very much it was driving me mad trying to figure that out
Thank you so much! Help me a lots
Thank alot. That really helped me
hey man i have it on metric, but my watch is still showing running data with miles.. do you know why? thanks.
The watch itself handles different unit types for individual metrics. Distance for example can be miles or km independently from height and weight. The app on the other hand locks into the same measure type for all metrics. This is frustrating for me, since I need/prefer lbs for weight and km for distance. Raised GenX Canadian, its just how my brain works. Height - feet, distance - km. volume - litres, temperature - Celsius, weight - lbs.
Its not like they don't have the methods and code worked out on the watch. Its frustrating..
Nice info.👍🔥
Thank you
Thanks brother appreciate it!
The option 'more' doesn't appear in my options.
The video is on IOS... There is no "more" button in Android. You can find the option on the top left menu (hamburger menu icon). Settings- User settings- Measurement Units.
How can you get kg in weight and feet/inches though? Seems like u can’t get both in any of these units 🤷♀️
I changed in my phone, but still on my watch it shows lb when I have to enter weight during workout
The watch and app configurations are independent. Also, they work differently. On the app there only one setting. On the watch you can configure each metric to use whatever measure type you prefer.
Can this still be done on the new version? As I don't have the more butron

Thank you !!!!!!! 😊
Thanks man👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Watch still in miles
Tqtq...❤
I’ve changed it to metric and it’s KM on my app on my phone but on the watch face when running it’s in miles. Do you know how I can change the watch face when running to KM from miles?!
I found a separate setting in the watch itself that allowed me to change from miles to km.
@@bettybeee can you tell where you found it , under which options ?

I want to change garmin connect to km per hour instead of min per km, anybody???
I love you
It’s so annoying that if I want KM I also HAVE to see the weather in Fahrenheit; no excuse for it imo
😊👍🏽
👍😊
Only half an explanation…..have done this yet when you bring a course in it changes it to miles…..annoying AF.
