Perfect timing…I’ve got my follow up on Monday to talk about testosterone! Estradiol (the patch) has made an enormous difference - it’s been magical. I’m excited about the next step with testosterone. Not on progesterone here - no uterus (surgical), but have ovaries. Thank you for all your educationing 💕…. you have made an enormous difference in my little world across the ocean…🙌
As always I appreciate your videos. My symptoms were slowly returning so I just upped my Estrogel by half which I do at night. Symptoms gone. Amen to MHT and drs getting educated on it.
Wow thank you for the 24m15s time marker. I have both very low Ferritin (Iron) and very low testosterone and I was wondering which one started the problems. Thank you!
Please help Dr!, I'm 43 & feel like I'm going crazy, my memory is non existent, I'm sad and crazily anxious, fall asleep shattered only to awaken startled an hour later. Feel angry out of nowhere. Am I too young to be considered for HRT please?
Get an appointment with a good Obgyn and get all hormone levels tested... chances are you are already deficient. I'm 58 and was going crazy with only classic HRT but adding testosterone was a game changer.
I started bleeding after starting HRT, was on Micronised Progesterone but was swapped to Provera to control the bleeding which went on for weeks. I am not particularly happy being on a synthetic hormone and would like to go back on Micronised Progesterone. Was wondering when the earliest I could ask my GP. I’ve been taking Provera for about three months now…🙏🏻
I started bleeding too,so frustrating as the not bleeding was the only positive regarding the situation ! I am waiting to see if I can try something other than the patch my breasts are sore also pre-period sore 🙈🙈🙏
Thank you. Can you please talk about dosing when starting estrodiol and Utrogestan up to 10 years after menopause? I’ve been put on 0.25mg estradiol gel and take 100mg Utrogestan vaginally as I want to protect long term health. I’m not sure if it’s due to this but I have more anxiety, more gut issues and feel my fight flight is heightened with noise fright and increased tinnitus. Is there any evidence that this could this be due to the HRT?
I do not think so! Estradiol has a very anti-inflammatory effect.... Perhaps it is a kind of "nocebo" effect - were you afraid of HRT?? Understandably as the scare is so extremely overblown!!!😢
@ Not afraid thanks. It is documented that estradiol can cause gut issues but I’ve been on this for a year now so any short term issues should have cleared up by now.
This is interesting as my mum (68 years) started HRT two months ago and a month in to it has developed gut issues, causing vertigo. Again, we don’t know if the gut issues are due to HRT but we will discuss with her menopause Dr next month…
I love your videos and sharing them in my women’s group of 50+! What are your thoughts about the Pellet? My wellness doctor has suggested it as a bio replacement therapy option along with a Progesterone pill.
I have asked my GP and gynaecologist for HRT. I have had synthetic hormones for years and always had issues with them. So in the last few years I don’t use hormones at all but the issues got worse. The gynaecologist did a test to see what my hormone levels were. She said everything was normal and I wasn’t in menopause. bloody h*ll, I knew that already because I still have regular periods. I have many symptoms of peri-menopause and they have a huge effect on my life. The gynaecologist said that HRT only was available for women who dont have had a period for a year. So in regular medicine I can’t get bio-identical hormones. How can I find a Clinique who does give HRT during peri-menopause?
I take oestragel 2 pumps in the morning 2 pumps evening And utragestran 200mg peasary I was on the mireena coil but I had to had op to remove it it was misplaced! I was on the 100mg estradot patch but I wasn't absorbing it! The Dr won't give me testosterone!
Why do you think your Mirena coil was displaced? What did Doctors tell you as a reason? I am about to put Mirena coil hopefully soon. Did you have any side effects with Mirena coil?
Hello I didn’t have a period for 6 months then I tried the estriol/ combi patch and had a horrible period -the only positive regarding menopause was no periods I don’t think I can go back to having periods 🙈🙏
Fluctuations can still happen in late perimenopause... unfortunately! But you could increase your dose of progesterone for a few months instead of giving up HRT and its preventative benefits in the ageing processes altogether. 300 mg of progesterone for a few months worked for me and stopped the bleed but you must have a check from a doctor that there is no other reason... 🙏💕 Best wishes from Germany 🇩🇪

Thank you! One of the few doctors that recognise progesterone can benefit us ladies without a womb and ovaries!

Wow these were GREAT questions!

How come progesterone through the skin still has a small clot risk? Seeing as it bypasses the liver?
Thank you!

You’re not too young and don’t let local doctors tell you that you are. They told me that and it has ruined my life.

No, but you need testing to determine the cause (is it, in fact, perimenopause) and proper treatment.

On HRT since April. Anxiety is still an issue. Suggestions?
Are you on testosterone, too?
What helped me is a higher dose of progesterone but I do suffer from pmdd aswell but yes progesterone can help a lot ❤
@ no
@@AgustinaMcKinley Many people say that T (small, physiological dose) helps best against anxiety...
And if the T doesn't help, you should get some Adaptogen and Adrenal Support. I use Seriphos and it has helped a lot.

Same here! Doctors in the Czech Republic won’t give you testosterone. 😢

There are multiple bleed free options, do go back and speak to your prescriber.
@@nicolemerz1731 Thankyou I will look into it , at 57 the only positive was no periods 🙏💕
