Fun Fact: on the gen 4.5 my little pony series "pony life" Twilight Sparkle referenced creepypastas by saying she had read about bighoof on a "scary ravioli" website. :^)
omg. We should start saying stuff like that now. Scary ravioli. Spooky fettuccine. Unsettling penne. Terrifying spaghetti. The possibilities are endless!

Agreed. I also generally feel like Ben Drowned was much better as a self-contained story about a haunted cartridge. Felt much more organic than all the cult stuff added in later.
My formal introduction to creepypastas was my dad telling me slenderman would get me if I was out too late :'( Showed me an entire "news story" of a girl my age getting abducted by him, still can't even look outside at night without feeling spooked
The origin of mereana mordegard gesgorv is so funny to me because imagine being just some guy and you hear this urban legend about an ultracursed video that makes people gouge out there eyes and it’s literally just a picture of you for 20 seconds

Fun fact, the popular image of The Rake was actually a promotional image involving one of the games in the Resistance Series yk the series made by the same people who did Sunset Overdrive, the original Spyro trilogy, and Ratchet and Clank
Its interesting to note that laughing jacks "back story" was made by a dude named "Snuff bomb" and made a guy named "Issac Grossman" he used Laughing Jack to basically spring board his OC...and it kind of worked and Snuff was known in the community but he was extremely problematic and something happened with him and Madame Macabre when she was making her own comic and this was all like 10 years ago but it was a huuuge deal when it happened
I've been watching this whole pastatober from October 1 to today I don't regret it it definitely made me appreciate this channel a whole lot more, happy Halloween shunks
My first exposure to creepypasta was seeing a google+ post on my sister's phone with jeff the killer on it saying to share or he'll come get you.... I feel old af for that
I'm convinced that one (or more) of my parents' foster kids either knew about or read Ben Drowned at some point, because there were game files on our copy of Ocarina of Time that had Link named Ben. For some reason, I copied this "trend" of sorts and kept starting new games wherein I used the name Ben... I was a very strange small child. o_0
The daily creepypasta posting was a really fun idea! I personally didn't click on all of them because they were so short, but I feel kinda bad cus I recognize the algorithm wasn't very kind to them. But this compilation is awesome, I hope it gets more views, and I'd like to see something like this next year!!!
I think that Rake movie may be based on WhisperedFaith, which is really interesting in itself. It’s an ARG where The Rake is an Operator-adjacent entity called “The Speaker,” which slowly corrupts its targets and turns them into its agents
Fun fact: Abandoned by Disney was actually a series of four stories, not three. There was a story made in between the original and Room Zero called 'A Few Suggestions', which follows the Mogley's Palace workers before its abandonment, and the creation of the Photo-Negative Mickey.
Was hoping for a compilation like this, on UA-cam I think I have like negative brain rot where I can't get into short videos anymore so I'm glad these are all put in here

I really felt nostalgic looking through these short videos this past month. Creepypastas used to be my horror obsession before FNAF came and fed into my hyperfixation habits even more, and while most definitely don't hold up, I still find a lot of charm reading through them again and seeing how much influence they had and still have on internet horror.
Omg i remember loving Clockwork when I was a child ToT Probably bc my mental state as a child also sorta probably reflected that of the author, but damn that’s crazy to hear how much it was hated on (but also not too surprising in hindsight)

56:20 My god you made me go down a rabbit hold with that Waffles dot Toby reference; remember those weird video animations with Slender Man quoting Dane Cook specials
I remember being in the Candle Cove fandom years ago, it was real small and is still pretty small. There used to be a discord run by the wiki admin that sadly, last I check, got overtaken by a group of kids who did not give a shit about Candle Cove... I remember talking and theorizing with everyone in it and I remember linking the "Milo" character to an artist who had sadly long since deactivated Anyways somehow none of us knew about all these extra creepypastas...we just saw all the characters on the wiki and rolled with it (the wiki treated the characters and show as real so it would never had links or go "these characters came from this candle cove variant" it was just played straight and even the lone wiki admin did this. Also last I checked the wiki admin went from being a goth to being a weirdo political dude?? And once someone tried to vandalize the wiki to match the "novel" they were making where there was this sun god and skintaker had fire powers?? Idk shit was weird and everyone in the discord freaked out about it for a while and we had to resort to using the backup wiki till everything was fixed lol)
So are we just going to gloss over the massive elephant in the room during the disney section which is the incredibly racist shit with the "native American sacrificial ritual" because it is wild to me that was just glossed over instead of brought up as a kinda fucked up thing that the story added.

I used to hate the ending of Slimebeast's "Lost Episodes" story because I felt like it took an actually pretty grounded and unsettling story about obsession and corruption of innocence and just gave a cop-out supernatural ending to it. There's an alleged sequel called "Sid's Video" which does run with the supernatural explanation, but I'm not sure if Slimebeast actually wrote that one. For some reason everyone was convinced that the deletion had to do with *le evil feminists* being offended with the wiki. Surely the trollpasta wiki being deleted had nothing to do with the rampant harassment and drama that would happen in the forums, sometimes even coming from the moderators themselves... Nah, it was *totally* because one of those gosh-darned red-haired feminists was so triggered by EVIL PATRIXXX that she had to delete the whole wiki, certainly. (sarcasm)
😭It's so wild the things anti-SJWs blamed on people they didn't like. EDIT: and they still blame people for, I didn't mean to imply people Like That went away.
I wish for the Russian sleep experiment that instead of it turning ordinary men into monsters, there was a gas leak from the chamber so it seeped into where the scientists and doctors were and they started seeing things as well, that’s why they saw the test subjects as monsters
5:50 So... you don't like it when characters become murderers and become sadistic if they don't have prior issues... but you also *don't* like it when they do have prior issues?
I'm not even going to lie and say that the laughing Jack story did not scare me. Not many of the creepypastas did, although I did really like nurse angel, that one felt like a good concept for an actual story. But laughing Jack scared the bejesus out of me, along with some random Max and Ruby creepypasta where a babysitter finds a cursed tape of Max and Ruby or something. I think I was like 14 or 15?
Ripping off barbies arms technically is part of the play feature, in order to put on doll’s clothing you need to be able to remove their arms, all dolls have that feature unless their unarticulated So the creepypasta being named “barbie” cus of that feature is very likely, since again you need to remove the doll’s arms to be able to change her outfit, you cam remove them by just the wist or the forearm like how the womans arm in the video is I owe skelita from monster high and you can remove not only her arms but also legs-its so funny to see peoples reaction to that lol
Of all the monsters and stories, Jeff the Killer is the one disturbing me the most. The face is just creepy and I don't like it. ALso cave diving! Eff that stuff, absolutely scary and not for me.
@@theotakux5959Basically, some people found it offensive that Hazbin Hotel uses Voodoo symbols without understanding what they means as it felt like it was demonizing the religious practice that has been demonized for so long. But this has since been fixed with Alastor being given his own unique symbols.
Oh hey Slimebeast mentioned since I've interacted with him. Dude is kind of a jerk? I like some of his work but when I asked more about Mario Nights he got pissed and told me to F off so that was fun. He will just delete one of his works if he doesn't like it anymore and get mad if it's reposted. Strange guy.

Happy spooky day btw
I wonder what the oldest creepypasta is lol.
Ripping off barbies arms technically is part of the play feature, in order to put on doll’s clothing you need to be able to remove their arms, all dolls have that feature unless their unarticulated
So the creepypasta being named “barbie” cus of that feature is very likely, since again you need to remove the doll’s arms to be able to change her outfit, you cam remove them by just the wist or the forearm like how the womans arm in the video is
I owe skelita from monster high and you can remove not only her arms but also legs-its so funny to see peoples reaction to that lol
Mister Widemouth has too much missed potential.
Loved the pastober.
Does anyone know where the clip from 1:01:07 is from?
Of all the monsters and stories, Jeff the Killer is the one disturbing me the most. The face is just creepy and I don't like it.
ALso cave diving! Eff that stuff, absolutely scary and not for me.
1:49 What is that supposed to mean? Hazbin Hotel situation?
Hes talking about how that show sucks
@@Big-t7g So he's lying?
@@theotakux5959Basically, some people found it offensive that Hazbin Hotel uses Voodoo symbols without understanding what they means as it felt like it was demonizing the religious practice that has been demonized for so long.
But this has since been fixed with Alastor being given his own unique symbols.
@@DullyPrimary Ah. Seems like a bit of an overreaction, but makessome sense that some people would get mad, I guess.
Dawg jeff the killer was so influential to me my OSDD went “bet” and now woods is back from dormancy bc of a banger rewrite
"bad 3ds port" yeah okay
Oh hey Slimebeast mentioned since I've interacted with him. Dude is kind of a jerk? I like some of his work but when I asked more about Mario Nights he got pissed and told me to F off so that was fun. He will just delete one of his works if he doesn't like it anymore and get mad if it's reposted. Strange guy.
I mean, he does have the right to take down his own work. I do agree with the Mario Nights thing being a bit of a dick move tho :3
I'm SEATED
Anyone else older now and still find the jeff image just, gross? its just unsettling as fuck
