If I recall correctly, for the Family Guy: Back To The Mulitverse one, on one of the levels of the game, if you manage to clip out of bounds, you can find a building with a suspiciously Kool-Aid Man shaped hole in a wall in an area you normally can't access, suggesting perhaps there was a scrapped appearance of him in the level... or it's just an easter egg for particularly inquisitive players.
Crazy thing about Halo 2 is i think about Half of the total planned content was cut from the finished game. There is ALOT more content from that game alone that could have been listed here.
For those wondering (and this is going to be rather blunt, just a warning), the "sexual undertones" of Mr. Friendly from Half Life was the fact that they were supposed to rape the player to death, in what was called "lethal copulation" as far as I can recall. Pretty creepy and fucked up, and I'm a little glad it was cut because of it.
shoot me if someone already said it before me, but the reason RG03 and RG04 went unused is because the idea was that they would be fought in place of RG01 and RG02 on certain days in real life, but technical difficulties with getting that to work led to them just being scrapped entirely

Probably been mentioned, but the Zapinator in Terraria is actually still there, it was just split into two version: the weaker Gray Zapinator found in Pre-Hardmode and the stronger Orange Zapinator in Hardmode. A lot (like, a LOT) of weapons in Terraria are just references to other properties, so the reason the Zapinator was dropped was probably since it was redundant to have a singular Zapinator when it could be split into two weapons instead.
it was initially a debug weapon for early versions, and was brought back because the devs felt like it ig (the original debug weapon would be an okay hardmode weapon nowadays, and would hardly dent modded bosses.. the powerscaling in this game is ridiculous)
hey, a few corrections: there is an actual cut psychopath from Dead Rising 4 referred to as the reindeer man, who would've been brutish man with physical deformities and a reindeer hat. concept art can be seen on the DYK gaming video of Dead Rising 4. also, there is actual proof that a kool aid man appearance was planned in Family Guy: Back To The Multiverse, as in the back of an out of bounds building in the first level of the game, there's a giant hole in the wall, similar to the ones the kool aid man makes in the show
They probably removed the Reindeer Man because it would seem offensive to people with mental disabilities. They removed psychopaths altogether because not only would it have been disrespectful to fight stereotypes portraying mental illnesses, the developers had little over a year to get the game finished and shipped out in time for the holiday season and so they didn't have to time to implement them anyway.
In case someone doesn't understand why it's called that, "The Cutting Room" is what an editing room was called in film making back in the days of analog editing, because the editing machines were gigantic and fairly noisy, and you would literally cut the positives into the order you wanted it. Cutting Room Floor because any footage you aren't using you'd just toss away, quite literally onto the floor until you cleaned it up. It's a term originally from cinema that got picked up for videogames too.
44:08 There is an extremely rare Easter egg where you can catch the animatronics looking at the camera. It was seen in an episode of markiplier’s first fnaf series playthrough. I’m surprised nobody has commented about this yet as it is well known
Some people have looked into the game's code and haven't found anything that could trigger the image, so I think you're just misremembering it because it was in the trailer, just like sourcebrew says in the video
I’m 99% certain that the animatronics do in fact look at the camera in the mobile version of FNaF. When I was a kid, the mobile versions were the only versions I had access to, and I played them a lot with my friends sitting next to me on the bus to school. We all remember the animatronics (maybe it was just Freddy when he was alone on stage, that’s one my one friend remembers) looking at the camera
2:15:56 actually the sharmoota job might be the most interesting cut piece of content of GTA V, since it would also feature rideable horses into the game and change the main plot of the story (btw the Cayo Perico heist is similar to what the sharmoota job would be, thats why the gameplay is from the Cayo Perico heist and not the Sharmoota job since it would be hard to recreate with the little stuff it remains).
A couple month late correct: Giants in Minecraft actually have basic pathing and will attempt to attack the player, however they cannot damage the player due to their attack range being the same as a normal Zombie. Giants can die, however have I think 100 HP (from memory, might be wrong.) Oh, they also have no wonder AI so they will not move if not targeting a player. If they were able to damage the player, they would be able to kill them instantly, dealing about 20 Hearts (That's 40 HP) of damage (again numbers are from memory.)
So for those curious but not enough to look it up, the baby is named Ocelotte and was meant to be cradled in the arms of Oceiros, his father. Originally there was a model for Ocelotte too, but in the final game there isn't a baby at all. The implication is either that Ocelotte was an illusion or a stillborn. I prefer stillborn as it just further adds to the tragedy of the Lothric royal line. Either way Oceiros is delusional. At the start of Oceiros' second phase, he freaks out at his child for not manifesting the power of a true dragon (mind you Oceiros isn't a true dragon, he just used magic to make himself one) then smashes the child into the ground before going into a rage. The audio has the baby's crying intensify until the smash, then there's what I like to call "solids becoming liquids" sounds. There was also a mangled version of Ocelotte's model found in the files.
This video is great and I’ve learned about stuff I never knew about my only issue is that there’s no footage or multiple things showing said cut content I understand stand this is a big video but having more stuff showcasing certain things would’ve made the video better. You earned a sub just because you *actually* did your research. This might be the first time that I've seen a video like this where I haven't felt like I had to hop into the comments to make a list of corrections. You even got basically all of the basics in place with Stop n Swop, which is impressive, because I've *never* heard someone mention the Nintendo 64 revisions being the major nail in the coffin for this feature. It's well known among the old users of Rare Witch Project, but not something that usually makes its way to youtube videos.

This is the greatest iceberg video I’ve seen so far Also here are some things that could be on the iceberg but they could be fake -Halo Destiny Crossover, it could have been planned for bungies 30th anniversary -Mario and Luigi 6, Alphadream wanted to make a 6th game for the switch
I honestly think Harmonix's cancelled Arena Shooter Chroma where you can only shoot your guns to the beat of the music playing should also be on this list especially after we've been seeing games the last year or two announced with this concept but this game was made back in 2015/2016 and only a small handful of people ever got to play it. (I was one of them :P) Also about the Samus and Link playable characters in Marvel if you notice the button prompts in the video (1:56:39) are Playstation that is because they showed them off on the Playstation version of the game not the Gamecube version and when Nintendo noticed this they became furious and made them remove them.
Really annoying how content creators always have to walk on eggshells in order to no upset the youtube overlords. I know it can't be helped, specially with such a long video, but regardless, I can't help but feel like we are getting a watered down version overall.
2:24:00 There's another instance of this (though unlike Homefront, this example was purposefully done for the whole games) in Pitfall: The Lost Expedition, where you can find a hidden set of arcade machines in the game which allow you to play the first three Pitfall games inside the game
The animatronic staring at camera was DEFINITELY in the game, I remember seeing it, and also remember UA-camrs seeing it, biggest Mandela proof for me.
it's a bit of a misleading entry, there's a scene where they look at you, but their eyes aren't lit up and visible, and that's ALWAYS been in the game, i think it's just specifically that one where you can see their eyes that wasn't in the base game
The Sims 2 is a great mess of unused content, some of it being still in the game in a way. They had real time reflections, weather, pets and cars before the base game released in 2004 - which is obviously different to The Sims series way of releasing these features in DLC expansion packs. They had scenarios for power outages, 3 whole unused neighbourhoods. Most of the faces of the sims from the trailers do not match the ones in the game, also with photographs that exist in the game, that you can view in the storytelling and memories menu, that have different faces. Another fun fact, the Teen Male voice for the sims is voice acted by the current CEO of Patreon.

"2:08;15 Also On the Cut Distrust beta of Danganronpa. Spike has also said that the reason why Distrust never went anywhere was because of the core idea of the Distrust system it self. Where the players choices would influence on what characters you trust or distrust. this would also manage which characters Trust or Distrust you the player depending on your choices. and this would have led to may different outcomes in the Class trials so different executions and thus Different endings with different surviors. But this turned out to be too big of a task for the Devs and the PSP on which they were developing it for. So they scrapped it and changed it to Danganronpa. Although this trust distrust system was later adapted for the Zero escape Franchise.

The megaman one was oil man was more stereo topical with him being black with large lips, they changed him to have yellow lips in USA and covered his mouth with a scarf everywhere else.
The cut portal chicken actually appears in the new tech demo aperture desk job in the background. So that’s cool they found a way to use it.
Wow, I never realized the animatronics didn’t actually look at you in-game. I could’ve sworn I saw it once (before I shut the game off like a scaredy-cat XDD)
One thing about the oceiros boss fight in ds3. In the alpha build you can see him holding the actual baby theres gameplay and models of him holding the baby and what he does to it...
i can still hear the squishing..

He squeezes it and throws it at the wall? I never saw the beta sequence. Osiris always confused me. He seems to have major lore implications, but I feel like they cut alot of lore from him, jelly baby included. I wonder why?
thanks for including my submission!
i do wanna credit some other people as i was the one who originally found them, but the build was found by another person named MysteriousCube, and the audio was found by WheatleyGaming, as RADvideo wouldn’t play the audio for whatever reason
@Cap'n_ Kiddo i did the blur removed story mode part!
Damn bro make a vid 👍
Imagining a hypothetical "Everyone is Here" trailer where James Bond appears makes my mind do backflips.

That's brutal as fuck
ah yes a headless horse's flesh and bones raping you to death. weird as fuck lol
Thank God it wasn't used. Half life isn't a kids game right? Cause this game doesn't sound like one
@@Crispyfried-pickles half life was never a kids game lol

i feel like the maker of this iceberg doesnt understand what iceberg images are, they seem entirely arbitrarily placed in to tiers
shoot me if someone already said it before me, but the reason RG03 and RG04 went unused is because the idea was that they would be fought in place of RG01 and RG02 on certain days in real life, but technical difficulties with getting that to work led to them just being scrapped entirely
I definitely didn't expect to see Cookie Clicker here. It doesn't seem like a game you would find cut content in (At least to me anyways). Good video btw 10/10.
Movie time, dinner time, looking forward to this one
Seeing the godzilla ones was a nice expected inclusion.
but seeing the poacher from carnivores brought up made me smile a lot.
First of all, this was AMAZING! Thank you for compiling all of this. Now, some addition recommendations!
*Stardew Valley:* Cut objects like Marriage-Candidate-Specific Weapons, the Cursed Prairie King System, Unreachable Wizard Voice Lines, the Lost Intro, and the Butchering Feature
*FNAF Security Breach:* SO MUCH @TetraBitGaming
*DDLC:* Deep Files associated with Project Libitina
*Call of Duty Black Ops II:* Cut "Severed Head" Weapon in Zombies
*Wii Sports:* THE PLAYER MODELS ONCE HAD HANDS???
*Animal Crossing - Wild World:* Hitler Stache in all regions, besides Europe
*Touhou: Emobodyment of Scarlet Devil*: Rin Satsuki a cut 3rd playable character
Alice: Madness Returns had weapons cut, levels that didn't get past the concept stage, bosses that were scrapped, and regular enemies that weren't implemented - one of which is used as a set piece on the final area, the Dollhouse.

Probably been mentioned, but the Zapinator in Terraria is actually still there, it was just split into two version: the weaker Gray Zapinator found in Pre-Hardmode and the stronger Orange Zapinator in Hardmode. A lot (like, a LOT) of weapons in Terraria are just references to other properties, so the reason the Zapinator was dropped was probably since it was redundant to have a singular Zapinator when it could be split into two weapons instead.
it was initially a debug weapon for early versions, and was brought back because the devs felt like it ig
(the original debug weapon would be an okay hardmode weapon nowadays, and would hardly dent modded bosses.. the powerscaling in this game is ridiculous)
hey, a few corrections: there is an actual cut psychopath from Dead Rising 4 referred to as the reindeer man, who would've been brutish man with physical deformities and a reindeer hat. concept art can be seen on the DYK gaming video of Dead Rising 4. also, there is actual proof that a kool aid man appearance was planned in Family Guy: Back To The Multiverse, as in the back of an out of bounds building in the first level of the game, there's a giant hole in the wall, similar to the ones the kool aid man makes in the show
They probably removed the Reindeer Man because it would seem offensive to people with mental disabilities. They removed psychopaths altogether because not only would it have been disrespectful to fight stereotypes portraying mental illnesses, the developers had little over a year to get the game finished and shipped out in time for the holiday season and so they didn't have to time to implement them anyway.
@@AluminumFusion22 yup it would be offensive to the people playing the fourth game when there’s psychopaths in all of them except that one 💀
@@chainsofgames That was Capcom Vancouver's initial excuse before we knew just how rushed Dead Rising 4 was.
I always thought it had something to do with slaughter houses

There is an extremely rare Easter egg where you can catch the animatronics looking at the camera. It was seen in an episode of markiplier’s first fnaf series playthrough. I’m surprised nobody has commented about this yet as it is well known
I was going to but you beat me to it. When I got to that part I was confused as I remembered seeing it in Markipliers playthrough and his reaction.
yes ive gotten this screen once istg so i think he is just bullshitting idk
Some people have looked into the game's code and haven't found anything that could trigger the image, so I think you're just misremembering it because it was in the trailer, just like sourcebrew says in the video
That “PerfectHead” feature in Perfect Dark would have been the source of hours of laughter with my friends and I
I’m 99% certain that the animatronics do in fact look at the camera in the mobile version of FNaF. When I was a kid, the mobile versions were the only versions I had access to, and I played them a lot with my friends sitting next to me on the bus to school. We all remember the animatronics (maybe it was just Freddy when he was alone on stage, that’s one my one friend remembers) looking at the camera
i also remember either bonnie or freddie looking right into the cam
I believe the mobile version has the picture. Not the PC version unfortunately
2:15:56 actually the sharmoota job might be the most interesting cut piece of content of GTA V, since it would also feature rideable horses into the game and change the main plot of the story (btw the Cayo Perico heist is similar to what the sharmoota job would be, thats why the gameplay is from the Cayo Perico heist and not the Sharmoota job since it would be hard to recreate with the little stuff it remains).
sharmoota means slut in arabic
Listened to this whole video while working and I gotta say, this is by far one of the best icebergs I've seen. Instant sub!
A couple month late correct:
Giants in Minecraft actually have basic pathing and will attempt to attack the player, however they cannot damage the player due to their attack range being the same as a normal Zombie.
But I still enjoyed the video.

Mel in Portal 2 was definitely Valve's way of preventing another game leak.
You forgot to mention that Stop 'n Swop was actually used in the XBLA/Rare Replay versions of Banjo Kazooie & Tooie
it's been 3 days and I'm still casually watching this. I'm on the caution sign for portal. btw I've been here since u had less then 10k subscribers and I've always liked the way you make and present ur videos.

it's kinda annoying when you mention unused animations or models/colour swaps etc but don't actually show footage or images of them
I'm only three entries in but I have to comment about how much I love the the simplicity in the title cards used. not zooming in and cutting on every entry, fucking thank you; it's very pleasant to me. so, absolutely love the format already and we have, another three hours and twenty six minutes to go - 👍👍 good job
This is the greatest iceberg video I’ve seen so far
Also here are some things that could be on the iceberg but they could be fake
-Halo Destiny Crossover, it could have been planned for bungies 30th anniversary
-Mario and Luigi 6, Alphadream wanted to make a 6th game for the switch
too bad they went under 😭
THEY WANTED TO MAKE A 6TH ONE NOW IM SAD
halo and destiny *kinda* crossed over, you could get all sorts of weapons that are references to halo guns in destiny
The cut cuphead bosses, some at least, being in the dlc was really cool
I honestly think Harmonix's cancelled Arena Shooter Chroma where you can only shoot your guns to the beat of the music playing should also be on this list especially after we've been seeing games the last year or two announced with this concept but this game was made back in 2015/2016 and only a small handful of people ever got to play it. (I was one of them :P)
Also about the Samus and Link playable characters in Marvel if you notice the button prompts in the video (1:56:39) are Playstation that is because they showed them off on the Playstation version of the game not the Gamecube version and when Nintendo noticed this they became furious and made them remove them.
In the day of the the tentacle you can play the maniac mansion. Both are classic point&click adventure games.

It appeared in the mobile port, I believe. At least from reading.
@@kairo59 I actually think your wrong, recently rewatched markiplier run through of FNAF and I swear these faces are right there on like night 5 or 6

Half life: mr friendly if i remember correctly wasnt added for 2 reasons:
1. Him raping freeman wasnt exactly something they could add
2. He was supposed to have a mechanic where he knocks freeman's glasses off worsening your vision, but they couldnt make this
Dark souls 3: The thing happening to the baby (ocelotte) in oceiros's boss battle, is that he crushes the baby with all his force when he goes completely batshit insane on phase 2, also the baby's model WAS there in the alpha model of oceiros unlike the one we have now
