It was awesome from Porsche Media team to include even English subtitle for English speakers, amidst all the noise.
The combination of 917 001 and Weissach gives me chills. I can remember really vividly going to the Porsche Museum and walking among all these cars being amazed as a child by how its even possible to build cars this long and then the next day going the Audi Forum with my dad sitting in a brandnew R8 as it just came out and i fell in love with two cars that weekend a black 99´ 911 and the first gen. R8 in dark grey as one of my truely first memories i really have. Thanks Porsche and Audi for all the great memories i allready have and will have with my father once i get to buy my dream "spaceships", since im not a soccer guy (or any sports except fighting) the love of Porsche and Audi was a big connector to my dad and to this day i smile at him like a child when i see old porsches passing us on the street. And im really thankful for this connection.

These cars are definitely beautiful, however the original 917 from 1969 was quite a horrible car. Because of the design, there was no airflow over the rearwing, which meant that on the Mulsanne straight the rear lifted and drivers could see the sky in their rearview mirrors. When Porsche realised this, they completely redesigned the car and the 917k which won Le Mans in 1970 and 1971.
