You are doing a great job. It's really impressive to see your work, and there's a lot to learn from it. If you could show the Sony Alpha 7 IV sample here, I would enjoy it very much.
@4:40 that’d be closer to a 128:1! 8:1 is only a 3 stop difference and doesn’t have as much contrast. You have at least double that, around a 7 stop difference if I’m going by eye.
Hey Jason, I bought the FX30 today to start the work on my filmmaking learning, on the personal side I want to take pictures and videos of my pregnant wife and upcoming baby. Can you suggest a good and budget lens under 500$ for over all photography and videography and also helps my filmmaking journey ? Looking forward to hear from you Jason. Cheers!
Hi Jason. What a nice, practical tutorial for beginning cinematographers. Well done.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Forget not only doing this on a kit lens, this was a cinematography breakdown as well!
Exactly. Thanks for watching 🙏🏽
Knowledge is power. Not the gear but the knowledge of how to use the gear you have.
On the money Steve 🔥

A really great and interesting video. Thank you! Out of interest, what did you set your white balance in camera to?
Off memory I think it was between 4700k-5000k
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema Thank you!
Let’s talking about those guns 💪 😅
What's a good lens for the fx30 animorphic ?
Depends on what style you want to tell your story.
@@shortstories3349 overall lens that's anamorphic?
@@chrismiller7080 Again, depends on the style that you're going for. Start researching and viewing sample footage.
