What was your favourite entry, and what are you drinking today? 💜
Pluto wasn’t demoted because it was little, it was demoted because there is a half a dozen other “planets” in its orbit path
I like how you occasionally add things like "we couldn't outrun the speed of light, not even with good running shoes" lmao it's really keeping me on my toes and makes me burst out laughing when I least expect it
Thank you so much! I'm awfully afraid they're incredibly silly ahah, I'm glad you enjoy them!
@@connors-curiosities silly humor is my favourite!😄
The egg is such a fascinating story! Overall, I really enjoyed this space iceberg video. Nice work!
9 PLANETS PLUTO IS A PLANET
Never!!
@@connors-curiosities Yes Pluto will always be a planet no matter what cancel culture says. Pluto has 2 moons for crying out loud.
NEVER!!
@@connors-curiositiesREEEE
I’m still salty about the dwarf planet classification
I'm loving your explanations! You're actually clearing a lot of my doubts. Thanks!❤❤❤
Thank you! I was afraid it would confuse people, but the research was super interesting to me!
@@connors-curiosities It shows! And you're actually great explaining things for us who are interested but have no true knowledge. 😉💙
I’m so happy Someone finally made a space iceberg again
Again?!
It's super fascinating! This kind of video format is new to me but it's amazing to listen to, thank you. Space really is terrifiyingly beautiful to think about
Amazing video. Such a clear and visual explanation. Keep it going 🎉
Thank you Anna! Very very glad you enjoyed it!
Honestly im such a space nerd and love learning more about it, im so glad i was able to find your page! I listen to a few of your videos before bed, its a routine now 😂❤
found you from your ocean iceberg! love your content :D
Thanks!
Your videos are really well made, I hope more people see your channel
Great content as always! I really enjoy icebergs and im also keen on space facts. Pd: that uranus joke 😂
FUN FACT: jupiter was actually titel as having the most moons in the solar system till nasa discoverd 93 moons around saturn (i actually don't know if this is correct if is 39 or something)
I have been geeking out on astronomy since the mid-90s. I've always been particularly facinated by The Great Attractor. As expected, it is most likely to be due to something pretty mundane. Not a hypermassive black hole but simply a very large galactic supercluster or several large supercluster. A hypermassive black hole could never have enough mass to pull the lanakea supercluster towards it. I think our surrounding superclusters are also being dragged towards it but not sure at what point the Great Attracted ceases to influence the movement of superclusters.
I just found your channel today. Watched the apocolypse one first. Hope you do some more astronomy/cosmology videos in the future. Difficult to find new channels due to the sheer number of AI generated science channels cluttering the algorithym
Truly interesting I loved watching this video, it's the only explanation of space I have actually understood, you explained it so well and humourously too 😊
Thanks Michaela! I was afraid it would be too confusing! >
So much info for a Monday 🤓. Trying to calculate numbers and listening to you today I feel my brain throbbing 😫 At least you throw in your comedic side 😂
Beep boop! Stacybot has overheated and shutdown.
Great content like always. Thanks for breaking out the whiteboard and explaining some of this stuff. 👍🏾
The whiteboard is new for me! Glad it made some sense ahah!
New to the channel and I have to say, I absolutely love your accent! I can’t put my finger on it though 🤔🤔🤔 This was a superb video by the way!
The egg 🤯
Such a mind-blowing story!
One of my favorite videos on this app.
You said all the planets could fit into Jupiter twice, good luck getting saturn in twice
As long as you condense it down! Jupiter has more than twice the mass of every other planet combined, due to its more dense core. That's why Saturn is only slightly smaller BUT has roughly 1/3 the mass of Jupiter ^^
Pluto is and will always be my favorite planet! It’s super cute, aaannnnd it possibly has a subsurface ocean! Not only that but all of the necessary molecules for life are scattered on its surface, sooooo the could possibly be life in plutos subsurface ocean! ❤️
What's the song you're using in the background? God, it's so ethereal, fits perfectly for this video. Thanks for the great explanations.
8:51 in and you have already made me laugh really hard like 12 times😂😂
At this time, Earth's 2nd name is Clown Planet.
Love the video so far, thanks. Imagine the size of the sun.. it converts 600,000,000 tons (1,200,000,000,000lbs) every single second into 595,000,000tons of helium with 5,000,000 tons being the light and various energy it emits into the solar system. EVERY SECOND! I thought that number was 6mil and had to check when you said 600mil (my apologies!) My mind was boggled at 6mil.. holy crap we really have a hard time grasping it's size. Add to that our sun is barely average.. meaning half the stars in the sky are bigger
Listen to this while doing a essay that’s do tomorrow😭
How did you do! You smashed it I'm sure!
Pluto is a planet in my opinion sure its small but if u wanna nerf pluto then u best give it some buffs too
What is that song in the beginning?? I have been looking everywhere for it
If "the moon" theory is true when you said you could fit the whole solar system in before you reach the moon, then wouldn't that mean we never landed on the moon because it would take about 12-18 years to reach Neptune and then come back
If you take the WIDTH of each planet, they all fit in between the earth and the moon.
Concerning the Oort Cloud: why isn’t it visible? Shouldn’t the asteroids reflect the suns light? And if light can’t reach them or whatever, why does the suns gravity still hold them in orbit at that massive distance? I’m just curious
It's a super cool topic! The stuff in the oort cloud is so sparse and tiny that it doesn't reflect enough of the sun's light back to us. It ALSO is overpowered by the light from OTHER stars from outer space, like trying to watch tv with sun coming in from the window. The light blinds you so you can't see the TV. Hopefully that makes sense ^^
@@connors-curiosities but still, crazy how far the gravitational pull of our sun reaches out.
About the milky way - in my culture its called the merchant's way, because merchants, who have delivered salt from the sea have navigated by looking at the Чумацький Шлях (Chumatsky Shlah, or - the merchants way)
Justice for Pluto 🗣️🗣️❗️❗️
Pluto is a planet too btw.
UA-cam physicist here.. could dark matter and energy be what happened to all the matter & antimatter that encountered one another at the time of and after the big bang? Or is it what the big bang exploded in to.. like stirring cream into coffee. Where st the instant it gets dropped into the mug starts swirling around into fully mixed. Ok, I'm probably way off.. but that's what you get from only learning from others videos. Love yours, by the way. Not a simple explanation nor too highly scientific where only physicists would understand. Thanks!
22:12 …..I see what you did there, Conor👀….🍈…..Well played, sir🫡
No Connor NOoooo.
Well, my poor brain cell.😖😵😂
Only a few minutes in but I appreciate people who mix the serious entry’s with a bit of humour worked in it, great work. Can’t wait to finish this!
And thank you so much for supporting the channel Neko!! Hope you enjoy the whole thing!!
Isnt Neptune the one that would float on water
Neptune would sink, sadly =(
I'm going to be honest I cannot tell when someone is kidding unless told, so I would've never known about the moon thing if I already didn't know that was a lie. That being said I can't tell if you lie about anything else that sounds about something I don't know. I watch these as educational fun bits so it really ruins that experience for me.
Everything is true in the video, except the cheese 🧀
@@connors-curiosities okay ty for verifying it's an interesting iceberg nice job
This may be one of the dumbest comments I've ever seen. How are you gonna critique the video because you have a negative IQ and can't take social cues?
22:04 EGG
I am not the best at drawing. I do admit ahaha

Omg are you okay?? It looks like someone hit you!!
I got hit by a passing comet while up in space doing research! I'm okay now though!
I’m drinking a coke due to the fact I discovered you
There are 9 planets.
Only 8 now!
My only critique is using imperial units and not metric
The UK is a strange cat!
To believe it was all just luck seems pretty stupid to me there is a creator of the universe and he is real
The egg has no place to be in this list
Massive L for using the same music as Quinn, I have no faith that the actual iceberg is original now
Brother, its free music 💀
Wrong place to look for a serious iceberg video about general outer space facts. Too much satire and joking. 😢
Oh my goood shut up. Why come to the comments and be a buzzkill? 99% of the video is him being serious. He literally made the iceberg himself and spent over an hour going in depth explaining them. If he wants to crack a joke every now and then, why cry about it?
Every time you said "gas giant" I thought of my dog. She's a gas giant too.🤣🤣🫤
HUGE doggo!
@connors-curiosities yup she is. I have 2, she's a black pit bull, Akita mix named Buffy, and Franklyn is a white pit bull and yellow lab mix.
