I had fun 100%ing this one, even with how brutal some of the achievements can be. Genuinly underrated game. Although there was ONE part where I almost rage-quit it, during my no saves run. It's easier to see the enemies if you use the original aspect ratio. Using widescreen crops part of the top\bottom of the picture, and while it works fine most of the time, there are instances where enemiues are harder to see, like the dog at 2:18.
@@houseofsten Yeah, I think it's similar there. They have adapted the images to widescreen somewhat, so it's not abritrarily cropped. I guess it works mostly fine as I see speedrunners are playing both RE0 and RE1 in widescreen.

I did the trophies/achievements in pretty much the same order as you. 🍻 I think getting 100% in RE1 was a little easier than RE0, but that's just me, I'm an old guy that still loves the tank-controls. I recommend making the "invisible enemy" playthrough your last one, once you're very familiar with the placement of enemies and the most efficient route to your next key items.
Awesome video my dude. RE games in general are great for re-runs to get achievements. I’d love to see more RE games featured as I constantly go back to them time and time again. Would love a OG RE remake video as I don’t see those very often as well as a RE 5. Really appreciate new content on older games/gems. Can’t say RE0 is one of them but loved the video. Also…. Love the use of the MGS alert theme. Makes me want to make that the background music on other RE speed runs when I play them. Keep up the awesome work

Very cool video, Sten. I was a massive old school RE fan back in the day and remember getting this one for Christmas. What I remember was how impressive it was graphically (as was the RE1 Remake), and that it was stupidly hard even by RE standards. I got to the underground lab area and watched Rebecca get eaten by one of the giant frog enemies. There was no way to fight back, so I watched her get swallowed whole and had to reload a save from like an hour before. I was so mad I never played the game again. Until it got re-released on Xbox and I actually finished it like 20 years later.

If you use the knife and aim at the scorpions head hes super easy. Every time it moves forward do one knife swipe and it will flinch and back up. Rinse repeat.

this is one of two resident evil games that i had platinumed. My hard mode run was so excruciating and i had died to the final boss too many times to count (Terrible inventory management for that run). I had finally beat the final boss after getting lucky with my second to last shot distracting the queen. 10/10 would recommend a friend try to platinum it.
Cool that you platinumed it ! I've learnt the hard way that RE is brutal if your inventory is badly managed. Sometimes it feels like there's almost no way to recover 😅
It is funny to se someone playing this for the first time because most of the bosses are pretty easy wen you know the game already (for an example, the scorpion, just stay close to the door and aim down, everytime he arms his claw just shoot one time, he will stop and do a step back, repeat this till he is dead and he will never hit you), just saying that because this is my favorite RE game, so i have played alot.
haha yeah its a lot of trial and error at first. On the hard run i followed a knife tactic where you can stun lock the scorpion. takes a while but its a free win. Everyone else pretty much just gets magnum'd haha. apart from the goddamn bat!!!!
Congrats, really impressive. I have absolutely no desire to pass through this torment. The first time I played Resident Evil 0 was 2004 and the only good thing that stayed was its graphics. The crippled, forced Co-op (which they forced in RE5 again), the artificial difficulty created by the horrendous item management system, the infinite stunlocks you mentioned in the video (that occours even with zombies), confusing connection between areas, infinite plotholes, bizarre level design. It's a shame because it's basically the game that killed the traditional formula and it's all Capcom's fault.

People hate Re Zero but i had a habit as a child to play that game every time at new year starting around 15 to finish it.. I did it for over 15 years. Its one of those i will never forget proply my most favourite Gamecube game with RE 4 still have the double cd's...
I use to always play it too when I was younger. I never seemed to play much further than the train though haha. I was glad i started on it and finished it. Definitely not the worst RE game. Just the things they got wrong on it made it feel really bad. like that grappleshot haha

Extremely impressive and congrats! Re0 even without going for 100% is a frustrating and tedious experience I actively always tell people they can skip the game unless they are die hard fans of the series Game is rough but you are tough!

That's why I made sure to explain all weapons have got to be obtained on the same save file, etc. It doesn't give any clarity on that and it made me waste a full playthrough. Resident Evil 0 contributes nothing even to the franchise's history or lore, only adds more unnecessary plot holes that really, shouldn't be there in the first place.
Really enjoyed this video, fantastic work. I really enjoy Zero! But on hard mode was the hardest thing i have done for a RE game! That and knife only on CVX!

When i first read this title i for some reason thaught this was trying to get through the game without getting a single achievment kind of challenge, like the opposite of a get all the achievments challenge. Though i do think that would be a cool idea as most games give you achievments for story progress and dumb mundane things so you have to try break the game to avoid those achievements but i doubt tha would be possible.
@@houseofsten I would say grindy and lengthy it's like 3 different difficulties spanning 60 levels plus a bonus level that requires high level gear and character
Yeah i read RE1 is alot easier compared to RE0. im just glad i got one of the harder/grindier ones out the way. From what ive read its good to do the knife run with the invisible enemy mode achievement so i have that to look forward to i suppose :D
@@houseofsten RE1 indeed is a lot easier than RE0. You can bait the enemy grabs with the d-pad and run past them with the left stick. Defense weapons also come handy in bad situations, but you'll have to watch out with using them on a knife-only run as they will void it. Other than that, you can skip the final boss by getting a bad ending. And you can skip one of the bosses as Jill, which makes this even easier. As it goes for the no save achievement you'll have to watch out while carrying a fuel canteen. Hopefully I didn't spoil much. And one question, will you run the original RE4 or just the RE4 Remake? In any case good luck with the runs :D
Despite there being a lot of completionist channels popping up over the past year or so, not many seem to focus on Xbox. Found your channel a little while ago but just been binge watching your videos and I've really enjoyed them! I love the resi games so looking forward to seeing you complete them all. I finished the entire series a week or so ago. 0 was not that bad, it took me 25 hours and 3 playthroughs, plus 1.5 leech hunter. I started directly on hard for s rank. I’m a “veteran” at the series though. Revelations 1 was the hardest in the series for me due to mostly solo raid mode. Re6 is one of the worst games I’ve played.
Awesome stuff man. A few have said Revelations 1 may be the hardest. I haven't really looked into the achievements yet. Trying to focus on the more mainstream ones at the moment. Played RE6 once, many years ago and I felt like I was playing Tekken or something from what I remember 😅

this video points out so many reasons I think RE0 was a terrible OG RE game. The bat boss battle can be plagued with issues with its auto aim and hit boxes, hunters stun locking you, item management just being a general pain in the ass and never knowing what to drop at times and braindead AI teammate who often is just a walking zombie meal that ends your game
Yeah its horrendous. i think mostly because there is lots of little bats there too driving your aim assist crazy and your character turns super slow :(
I love Zer0 so its cool to see this. Though I admit I abused Leech Hunter as I used the infinite ammo and magnum revolver unlockables for my no saves/healing runs which drastically reduced the difficulty. Props to you for doing them legit.
Yeah it is an Underrated game for sure I think. Nah its fair enough man. you put the grind in Leech Hunter to unlock the Infinite ammo and magnum so its not like you just entered a cheat code. Definitely would of helped me haha. The hardest thing is just making sure you have enough ammo which is rough because you cant carry too much around because of that stupid grapplehook haha. Have you completed any of the other RE games achievements/trophy wise?
Huge player here since more than 4 decades now ( i'm old shh), and didn't have problem with most of those but... Absolutely hate trophies like: no healing or no save! I'm to lazy for those! But i hate to admit than the clunky movements ( aka tofu square walk=classic mode) is not helping if you're not use too... It still the best one for R.E 0 &1. And the inventory is a bit tricky! Unless you're not doing a speedrun, classic control are better...just need a bit of work at first! Pretty cool video! Not much will hunt all R.E trophies...some are total pain in the A!

Please tell me you didnt start with 0🙏 0 is a very hard game but its only because the game was designed with RE veterans of 2002 in mind, it was made to be played after 1-3 and CV so that it subverts the player's expectations and forces them to apply everything they've learned up to that point in order to best beat the game. So many times i see people play RE0 early and they miss so many things that would be obvious had they played the previous games, such as the hookshot never being discarded, or that the maps are much smaller and more compact than any previous entry in order to accomodate being able to drop items anywhere instead of specific points. One valid complaint though is the eliminators, they're almost as bad CV enemies
I did indeed! i played it on the gamecube back in the day but i only remembered the train haha. I'm going in Canon order of the story and just releasing the Non canon game videos when I can. I know what you mean though, when i did Code Veronica for the first time ever 4-5 months back, i had absolutely no idea what i was doing and found it so hard. Wanted to unlock dragon edge pistol in RE2,but its too hard and i cant even think about go through all that journey again and all that boring puzzle go find this go find that thing,i dont even know why i play RE games i only enjoyed resident evil6 becuz it was action and had all legends in it , and this video was hard to watch,i totally get it, Goodjob youre RE veteran i guess🙇🏻♀️💯

@houseofsten idk I got the platinum on Resident Evil Remake but that final difficulty was a pain. I got past the train on hard, but kind of didn't want to play zero anymore. I did alot more replays than most getting the achievements
I really have to stop playing Final Fantasy 7 while watching your videos lol. Another great accomplishment friendo! I have only beaten RE0 once. I could not stand the inventory and character swiping. It took away from me enjoying the game more.

Congrats on completing the achievements! So poison can’t actually kill you, it drains your health by 1% continuously over time but if you get down to danger (20% health) the damage stops you once it drains you to 1% health but you will still retain the poison status until you consume a blue or white mix (green, red, blue) This is consistent in all of the Resident Evils but in the remake of 2 if you consume a white mix, it cures you and then gives you temporary protection from being poisoned again for a brief period of time. You will see a green shield icon that appears in the bottom corner of the screen and once it drains away you will able to be poisoned again. It’s extremely helpful for the sewer level in RE2make if you’re trying to run past the G mutations and get caught by its grab & vomit combo and you don’t have a defensive weapon.
Ahh brilliant. thank you for that info. I thought it may keep you on 1% health or something and not actually kill you but the thing I was scared of was that even though I was on easy, I was doing a no save run for the achievement so didn't want to risk dying. Thankfully I did heal because those hunters slapped me up real bad later on 😂 Thanks for the comment and info I'll keep note of that when I do the other RE games
@@houseofsten You did really well and this is indeed the hardest RE game. Even on easy mode the hunters have an instant kill attack that on the higher difficulties they do more frequently. They make a distinct noise when they’re about to do it and lunge directly at you instead of jumping over you. The problem is like when you saw, there’s more than one of them. It’s so easy to become stun locked and when they combo you then block you in if you get cornered. They are like that in every game they’re featured in so you’ll come to fear them as soon as you hear that iconic clicking of their talons walking along the floor. The worst enemy in my opinion tho are the “Eliminators” or the infected monkeys. They usually roll in packs and can VERY easily stun lock you then surround you, their hit boxes are a nightmare due to their smaller size so it’s extremely easy to miss your shots. The lack of item boxes annoys most people but I thought it was no different than playing “real survival” mode on the remake of the original which is the best RE game in the sense of its original design being updated with modern graphics and keeping the story intact while adding to its narrative. I won’t spoil it for you if you haven’t played it but make sure you read the files in that game because they change one very key aspect of its basic design that on your first play through it can be absolutely horrifying if you don’t realize why the game is giving you certain hints and items. It will very quickly become apparent tho as soon as you get the shield key lol. Code Veronica is definitely the weirdest/darkest game of the series but it’s pretty straight forward and the rest of them are more or less action games with horror elements in 4, 5, & 6. 7 is first person but definitely went back to the horror roots, 8 is the same but with a little bit more action. They’re all entertaining in their own right but nothing beats the tank controls, fixed camera angels, and item management of the first three games, the prequel, and Code Veronica. Anyhow, I look forward to watching your other achievement runs. Enjoy them because your first play through is always the funnest getting to figure each game out and how to approach them. I think there's three problems with this game: No Chests. Rebecca is Useless Billy is OP. Essentially REbecca is the only one who can mix herb, a thing even an amateur can do as Claire, in RE2 and she's not a cop. To compensate for that, they made her weaker, not only physically but her guns give her less power. It's better to use billy for damage, because a gun with him cause more damage than with her. It's stupid.
Yeah its odd. I wouldn't of minded the no chests as long as you didn't have to carry that stupid grapplehook around. Billy having more health like you said makes him overpowered because you might as well always take him or play as him as oppose to Rebecca purely out of logic haha. At least with RE1 Jill and Chris having different HP, you were essentially alone with those characters and had to change your playstyle some what so it added a new dynamic to the game (although minimal) RE0 is still a very strange game and I just don't know if I hate it or like it haha. Re 5 I s the game that got me into the franchise so i have mega nostalgia for it and even believe it to be one of the best re games! Re0 on the other hand i just played and BOY i was frustrated and not having any fun except playing as one of the goated characters Rebecca chambers!

Its cool that Capcom properly preserved the game and made it accessible, rather than having it locked behind the game cube, but it looks tedious to play.
What an exexcellent video! I wish I'd watched it before I'd played 68 hours and still hadn't gotten the last achievement 46/47. I'm having trouble completing the last achievement, which is I could shoot. I've already finished the game on normal and hard with rank S, and after finishing on hard I used the save and started again to finish combining the pistol that was missing and also combined all the types of ammunition in the Grenade Launcher ammunition type (Napalm, explosive and acid). I've already completed the leech and the wesker, I've also used the grenade launcher, the magnum and the SMG.
Thanks man. Really glad you enjoyed it ! I was having some problems with that achievement too. I was sure I had done both handguns with the custom parts but it just wasn't unlocking. But I decided to quickly do another playthrough and got it by coming the parts with Rebecca's gun again. Just make sure you use the same file that has the rocket launcher and magnum unlocked as well as it needs to stack on top of that as well. It was a bit of a nightmare haha. Good luck !

It’s really a great game I wish more would play it. Haven’t checked to see if you already did code Veronica but in my opinion it’s much harder than 0. @@houseofsten for revelations 1 it’s the huge jump in difficulty on the hardest difficulty. That last boss fight in particular is…. Something else. Then after is the long LONG grind for Raid mode which is fun but it’s also pretty difficult especially the final level that’s the entire boat. Without flawless equipment or a good partner it’s easily 100 hours. Revelations 2. There’s invisible enemy mode, hard mode, and Timer mode so there’s a minimal of like 4 playthroughs and I will save that there is plenty of areas to get stuck on while doing the countdown/timer mode and invisible enemy one wrong move and you have to do the entire section over again. Then it’s raid mode which is in my opinion easier than Rev 1 but pretty grindy. Good luck I’ll be watching if you need any advice I’ve 100%d all the resident evil games(Yes even the horrible ones like Operation Raccoon City and Resistance)

I know the AI is absolute torture. may do it with my brother but he could be arguably even worse haha. I'm thinking of getting the 360 version though and doing a whole achievement run of the game. I think they are a different stack of achievements from what I have seen
I wouldn’t mind helping out once you start getting to the multiplayer RE games. I got all the RE5 achievements on 360 minus the Versus stuff, and a decent chunk of the achievements again when it got ported to the Xbox One.

@@houseofsten FL NV. Thinking of just rushing the House always wins, Wildcards and Render unto Ceasar for the achievements and getting the 100%. Always go with NCR so thats why these 3 ending routes are unfinished.
Its just from what I read online about the game. seemed to be a lot of articles and reviews bashing the game about why it came out on the GameCube. I think its probably just more surprising that they didn't bring it out on PlayStation as well perhaps

It has potential to be pretty good but i only imagine that would be if you could do coop with a friend which i think would be pretty cool. I'm on a mission to unlocking every achoevement on re games myself and just stumbled upon this while I'm also at re0 hah, for me I alredy got 1,2,3,4 og, 7 non dlc and 8 with all achievements
I tried going for a platinum, but while I did defeat all bosses as Rebecca, I just couldn't bring myself to play hard mode or the leech hunter minigame. I couldn't get any fun out of this game after the first section of the train
Mate , how triggering was it. Luckily the shotgun I used gets you quite a few per shot if you're lucky but it's the annoying aim assist that just makes your life misery. Did you get the rest of the achievements ?
that sqerpian that you fought is the easiest one to beat that one guy said use shotgot but its easier then that use pistol and wait for him to get close enough then shoot down and he will back up rinse and repeat stay on the side when you kill the squrpion he will have a final attack thats why
I heard from other UA-cam's you don't have to fight either just put an item down and when the fight starts pick it up and run through the hole with the ladder you will go thru the scorpion people say this Is the worst resident evil game to tell you the truth this is my faverite one besides the second one I love the g virus well what it can do to people!

I think getting 100% in RE1 was a little easier than RE0, but that's just me, I'm an old guy that still loves the tank-controls. I recommend making the "invisible enemy" playthrough your last one, once you're very familiar with the placement of enemies and the most efficient route to your next key items.

Very cool video, Sten. I was a massive old school RE fan back in the day and remember getting this one for Christmas. What I remember was how impressive it was graphically (as was the RE1 Remake), and that it was stupidly hard even by RE standards. I got to the underground lab area and watched Rebecca get eaten by one of the giant frog enemies. There was no way to fight back, so I watched her get swallowed whole and had to reload a save from like an hour before. I was so mad I never played the game again. Until it got re-released on Xbox and I actually finished it like 20 years later.

Funny enough you mention the frog. On my wesker run he did get eaten by it and I couldn't help but laugh just because it was wesker 😂 luckily had a save just before it

If you use the knife and aim at the scorpions head hes super easy. Every time it moves forward do one knife swipe and it will flinch and back up. Rinse repeat.

this is one of two resident evil games that i had platinumed. My hard mode run was so excruciating and i had died to the final boss too many times to count (Terrible inventory management for that run). I had finally beat the final boss after getting lucky with my second to last shot distracting the queen. 10/10 would recommend a friend try to platinum it.
Cool that you platinumed it ! I've learnt the hard way that RE is brutal if your inventory is badly managed. Sometimes it feels like there's almost no way to recover 😅

It is funny to se someone playing this for the first time because most of the bosses are pretty easy wen you know the game already (for an example, the scorpion, just stay close to the door and aim down, everytime he arms his claw just shoot one time, he will stop and do a step back, repeat this till he is dead and he will never hit you), just saying that because this is my favorite RE game, so i have played alot.
haha yeah its a lot of trial and error at first. On the hard run i followed a knife tactic where you can stun lock the scorpion. takes a while but its a free win.
Everyone else pretty much just gets magnum'd haha. apart from the goddamn bat!!!!

Congrats, really impressive. I have absolutely no desire to pass through this torment. The first time I played Resident Evil 0 was 2004 and the only good thing that stayed was its graphics. The crippled, forced Co-op (which they forced in RE5 again), the artificial difficulty created by the horrendous item management system, the infinite stunlocks you mentioned in the video (that occours even with zombies), confusing connection between areas, infinite plotholes, bizarre level design. It's a shame because it's basically the game that killed the traditional formula and it's all Capcom's fault.

Yeah I'm not going to lie this one has put me off RE for a while but all of yous are motivating me to get back on it haha.
Definitely a frustrating game achievements wise. That's why I made sure to explain all weapons have got to be obtained on the same save file, etc. It doesn't give any clarity on that and it made me waste a full playthrough.

When i first read this title i for some reason thaught this was trying to get through the game without getting a single achievment kind of challenge, like the opposite of a get all the achievments challenge. Though i do think that would be a cool idea as most games give you achievments for story progress and dumb mundane things so you have to try break the game to avoid those achievements but i doubt tha would be possible.

The easiest will probably be re 1 remake hardest achievement probably being the invisible enemy mode.
Yeah i read RE1 is alot easier compared to RE0. im just glad i got one of the harder/grindier ones out the way. From what ive read its good to do the knife run with the invisible enemy mode achievement so i have that to look forward to i suppose :D
@@houseofsten RE1 indeed is a lot easier than RE0. You can bait the enemy grabs with the d-pad and run past them with the left stick. Defense weapons also come handy in bad situations, but you'll have to watch out with using them on a knife-only run as they will void it. Other than that, you can skip the final boss by getting a bad ending. And you can skip one of the bosses as Jill, which makes this even easier. As it goes for the no save achievement you'll have to watch out while carrying a fuel canteen. Hopefully I didn't spoil much. And one question, will you run the original RE4 or just the RE4 Remake? In any case good luck with the runs :D

I finished the entire series a week or so ago. 0 was not that bad, it took me 25 hours and 3 playthroughs, plus 1.5 leech hunter. I started directly on hard for s rank. I’m a “veteran” at the series though. Revelations 1 was the hardest in the series for me due to mostly solo raid mode. Re6 is one of the worst games I’ve played.

this video points out so many reasons I think RE0 was a terrible OG RE game. The bat boss battle can be plagued with issues with its auto aim and hit boxes, hunters stun locking you, item management just being a general pain in the ass and never knowing what to drop at times and braindead AI teammate who often is just a walking zombie meal that ends your game

Huge player here since more than 4 decades now ( i'm old shh), and didn't have problem with most of those but... Absolutely hate trophies like: no healing or no save! I'm to lazy for those! But i hate to admit than the clunky movements ( aka tofu square walk=classic mode) is not helping if you're not use too... It still the best one for R.E 0 &1. And the inventory is a bit tricky! Unless you're not doing a speedrun, classic control are better...just need a bit of work at first! Pretty cool video! Not much will hunt all R.E trophies...some are total pain in the A!

Please tell me you didnt start with 0🙏 0 is a very hard game but its only because the game was designed with RE veterans of 2002 in mind, it was made to be played after 1-3 and CV so that it subverts the player's expectations and forces them to apply everything they've learned up to that point in order to best beat the game. So many times i see people play RE0 early and they miss so many things that would be obvious had they played the previous games, such as the hookshot never being discarded, or that the maps are much smaller and more compact than any previous entry in order to accomodate being able to drop items anywhere instead of specific points.
One valid complaint though is the eliminators, they're almost as bad CV enemies

I know what you mean though, when i did Code Veronica for the first time ever 4-5 months back, i had absolutely no idea what i was doing and found it so hard. Game doesnt spoon feed you or give you many clues what to do compared to games like re2/3 haha.

If it wasn't for that absolutely horrendous 2 item slot grapplehook you have to carry round all game I think it wouldn't be anywhere near as bad but it was so infuriating. Especially when you had to travel back a good 5minutes to pick it up again ☠️ definitely not the best RE game but looking forward to doing the other ones !

So poison can’t actually kill you, it drains your health by 1% continuously over time but if you get down to danger (20% health) the damage stops you once it drains you to 1% health but you will still retain the poison status until you consume a blue or white mix (green, red, blue)
This is consistent in all of the Resident Evils but in the remake of 2 if you consume a white mix, it cures you and then gives you temporary protection from being poisoned again for a brief period of time. You will see a green shield icon that appears in the bottom corner of the screen and once it drains away you will able to be poisoned again. It’s extremely helpful for the sewer level in RE2make if you’re trying to run past the G mutations and get caught by its grab & vomit combo and you don’t have a defensive weapon.

I thought it may keep you on 1% health or something and not actually kill you but the thing I was scared of was that even though I was on easy, I was doing a no save run for the achievement so didn't want to risk dying. Thankfully I did heal because those hunters slapped me up real bad later on 😂

@@houseofsten You did really well and this is indeed the hardest RE game. Even on easy mode the hunters have an instant kill attack that on the higher difficulties they do more frequently. They make a distinct noise when they’re about to do it and lunge directly at you instead of jumping over you. The problem is like when you saw, there’s more than one of them. It’s so easy to become stun locked and when they combo you then block you in if you get cornered. They are like that in every game they’re featured in so you’ll come to fear them as soon as you hear that iconic clicking of their talons walking along the floor.
The worst enemy in my opinion tho are the “Eliminators” or the infected monkeys. They usually roll in packs and can VERY easily stun lock you then surround you, their hit boxes are a nightmare due to their smaller size so it’s extremely easy to miss your shots.
The lack of item boxes annoys most people but I thought it was no different than playing “real survival” mode on the remake of the original which is the best RE game in the sense of its original design being updated with modern graphics and keeping the story intact while adding to its narrative. I won’t spoil it for you if you haven’t played it but make sure you read the files in that game because they change one very key aspect of its basic design that on your first play through it can be absolutely horrifying if you don’t realize why the game is giving you certain hints and items. It will very quickly become apparent tho as soon as you get the shield key lol.
Code Veronica is definitely the weirdest/darkest game of the series but it’s pretty straight forward and the rest of them are more or less action games with horror elements in 4, 5, & 6.
7 is first person but definitely went back to the horror roots, 8 is the same but with a little bit more action. They’re all entertaining in their own right but nothing beats the tank controls, fixed camera angels, and item management of the first three games, the prequel, and Code Veronica.
Anyhow, I look forward to watching your other achievement runs. Enjoy them because your first play through is always the funnest getting to figure each game out and how to approach them. Have fun and good luck sir!!
I think there's three problems with this game:
No Chests.
Rebecca is Useless
Billy is OP.
Essentially REbecca is the only one who can mix herb, a thing even an amateur can do as Claire, in RE2 and she's not a cop.
To compensate for that, they made her weaker, not only physically but her guns give her less power. It's better to use billy for damage, because a gun with him cause more damage than with her. It's stupid.
Yeah its odd. I wouldn't of minded the no chests as long as you didn't have to carry that stupid grapplehook around.
Billy having more health like you said makes him overpowered because you might as well always take him or play as him as oppose to Rebecca purely out of logic haha.
At least with RE1 Jill and Chris having different HP, you were essentially alone with those characters and had to change your playstyle some what so it added a new dynamic to the game (although minimal)
RE0 is still a very strange game and I just don't know if I hate it or like it haha.

Re 5 I s the game that got me into the franchise so i have mega nostalgia for it and even believe it to be one of the best re games! Re0 on the other hand i just played and BOY i was frustrated and not having any fun except playing as one of the goated characters Rebecca chambers!

What an exexcellent video! I wish I'd watched it before I'd played 68 hours and still hadn't gotten the last achievement 46/47. I'm having trouble completing the last achievement, which is I could shoot. I've already finished the game on normal and hard with rank S, and after finishing on hard I used the save and started again to finish combining the pistol that was missing and also combined all the types of ammunition in the Grenade Launcher ammunition type (Napalm, explosive and acid). I've already completed the leech and the wesker, I've also used the grenade launcher, the magnum and the SMG.
Thanks man. Really glad you enjoyed it ! I was having some problems with that achievement too. I was sure I had done both handguns with the custom parts but it just wasn't unlocking. But I decided to quickly do another playthrough and got it by coming the parts with Rebecca's gun again. Just make sure you use the same file that has the rocket launcher and magnum unlocked as well as it needs to stack on top of that as well. It was a bit of a nightmare haha. Good luck !

Haven’t checked to see if you already did code Veronica but in my opinion it’s much harder than 0.
I’ll even go a step further and say I think Revelations 1 and 2 are harder to complete all achievements for. Good luck on your journey 😌

@@houseofsten for revelations 1 it’s the huge jump in difficulty on the hardest difficulty. That last boss fight in particular is…. Something else. Then after is the long LONG grind for Raid mode which is fun but it’s also pretty difficult especially the final level that’s the entire boat. Without flawless equipment or a good partner it’s easily 100 hours.
Revelations 2. There’s invisible enemy mode, hard mode, and Timer mode so there’s a minimal of like 4 playthroughs and I will save that there is plenty of areas to get stuck on while doing the countdown/timer mode and invisible enemy one wrong move and you have to do the entire section over again. Then it’s raid mode which is in my opinion easier than Rev 1 but pretty grindy.
Good luck I’ll be watching if you need any advice I’ve 100%d all the resident evil games(Yes even the horrible ones like Operation Raccoon City and Resistance)

Loving these resident evil videos. Heads up though you’re probably gonna want to play through 5 on coop, because the AI is very dumb, especially on the higher difficulties

I'm thinking of getting the 360 version though and doing a whole achievement run of the game. I think they are a different stack of achievements from what I have seen
I wouldn’t mind helping out once you start getting to the multiplayer RE games. I got all the RE5 achievements on 360 minus the Versus stuff, and a decent chunk of the achievements again when it got ported to the Xbox One.

@@houseofsten FL NV. Thinking of just rushing the House always wins, Wildcards and Render unto Ceasar for the achievements and getting the 100%. Always go with NCR so thats why these 3 ending routes are unfinished.

Resident Evil 0 on the Game Cube wasn't that surprising considering it was originally planned for the N64.
Its just from what I read online about the game. seemed to be a lot of articles and reviews bashing the game about why it came out on the GameCube. I think its probably just more surprising that they didn't bring it out on PlayStation as well perhaps

Yeah the first 2 playthroughs were fine then it was quite boring. the only plus side is that you can complete the game in a few hours if you know what you are doing. It has potential to be pretty good but i only imagine that would be if you could do coop with a friend which i think would be pretty cool. Might do a tier list of worst to best when i finish all of them haha
I'm on a mission to unlocking every achoevement on re games myself and just stumbled upon this while I'm also at re0 hah, for me I alredy got 1,2,3,4 og, 7 non dlc and 8 with all achievements

I tried going for a platinum, but while I did defeat all bosses as Rebecca, I just couldn't bring myself to play hard mode or the leech hunter minigame. I couldn't get any fun out of this game after the first section of the train
Yeah it gets tedious fast doing multiple playthroughs. It is a good challenge though. Hopefully you get round to doing it

The 16 bat achievement pissed me off so fucking bad.
Mate , how triggering was it. Luckily the shotgun I used gets you quite a few per shot if you're lucky but it's the annoying aim assist that just makes your life misery. Did you get the rest of the achievements ?
that sqerpian that you fought is the easiest one to beat that one guy said use shotgot but its easier then that use pistol and wait for him to get close enough then shoot down and he will back up rinse and repeat stay on the side when you kill the squrpion he will have a final attack thats why
Thanks mate. I picked up this tactic on my hard run but except with the knife instead. Turns out to be very easy to beat and stun lock 😁
I heard from other UA-cam's you don't have to fight either just put an item down and when the fight starts pick it up and run through the hole with the ladder you will go thru the scorpion people say this Is the worst resident evil game to tell you the truth this is my faverite one besides the second one I love the g virus well what it can do to people!
