I am a Maharashtrian and we have looked at Tamilians and other south Indians as people who come to our state/city to snatch our jobs, but after Modi, South India is the last bastion of hope that I see for this country and truly wish that all the Top jobs of this country like the PM, FM, Defence etc are taken by people from South India. They are brilliant. These are states go beyond the realms of Religion and Caste to choose the right people and no wonder they are progressing so much. Kudos to PTR who has served a tight slap on Noida channels and Godi media.

Per hour earning in these states has increased substantially in last few years that includes remote villages too. You must travel to understand what I'm saying. Freebies have played huge role in that. A kid in village cannot get laptop with his/her family earning. With free laptop they educated themselves and excelled in service industry. Do note that TN has highest number of quality certified industry(both in manufacturing and service) in India. Free healthcare, education in TN also plays very important role in improving HDI. Free transportation for women protects them from social evil. In short TN govt is doing what govt is supposed to do - serve the people. I'm not saying its perfect but far from it. They do understand the mistake and are improving. Only bad apple in TN (and in Kerala, Karnataka) is alcohol. Hope they get off that addiction soon. In TN Free food scheme in school started in 60's have brought kids to school. Many parents who were not able to feed their children 3 meals a day, made sincere effort in sending their kids to school so that atleast once in a day the kid gets good food. Thats why we have more educated people from TN even from the oppressed societies.

I am from Andaman, married and settled in tamilnadu and after coming to tamilnadu i have to say comparing maharastra ,andra Pradesh and Bangalore tamilnadu specially Chennai is far far better....like comparing Mumbai with tamilnadu in cleanliness, comparing andhar Pradesh in education, comparing Bangalore with tamilnadu in traffic it is far far better....better roads , cleanliness, roads etc are developed enough as per the needs...i don't know about other states and cities because I didn't stay or visit there...

Iam an engineer now in UAE having a decent salary iam contributing a good amount of money to both indian gov and TN gov as remittance this is possible because of the freebies provided by TN gov. Per hour earning in these states has increased substantially in last few years that includes remote villages too. You must travel to understand what I'm saying. Freebies have played huge role in that. A kid in village cannot get laptop with his/her family earning. With free laptop they educated themselves and excelled in service industry. Do note that TN has highest number of quality certified industry(both in manufacturing and service) in India.
Free healthcare, education in TN also plays very important role in improving HDI.
Free transportation for women protects them from social evil. In short TN govt is doing what govt is supposed to do - serve the people. I'm not saying its perfect but far from it. They do understand the mistake and are improving.
Only bad apple in TN (and in Kerala, Karnataka) is alcohol. Hope they get off that addiction soon.

In TN Free food scheme in school started in 60's have brought kids to school. Many parents who were not able to feed their children 3 meals a day, made sincere effort in sending their kids to school so that atleast once in a day the kid gets good food. Thats why we have more educated people from TN even from the oppressed societies.

The very fundamental of economics is “human Wants are unlimited” just because you give a few freebies people will not stop working because their necessities will move to the next level and they would have to work for that. The reason for labour migration down south is because people have moved to next level they are more into supervisory jobs and since they are skilled due to education they move to foreign countries like gulf states where the pay is higher. Coupled with that the decreasing fertility rate in south is also a reason. Freebies will not make a person lazy it will only make him choosy. Some people commented Freebies make people lazy. I am from a village in TN and working in North for the last twenty years. Whenever I go to my village I wonder about the wealth of our people. New houses and shops, dressing, every thing shows their wealth. Every body is working, helping others and enjoying life. As education is number one priority in all family, physical workers are not available. It is being filled with North Indian labours. People are not lazy.

I am from Andaman, married and settled in tamilnadu and after coming to tamilnadu i have to say comparing maharastra ,andra Pradesh and Bangalore tamilnadu specially Chennai is far far better....like comparing Mumbai with tamilnadu in cleanliness, comparing andhar Pradesh in education, comparing Bangalore with tamilnadu in traffic it is far far better....better roads , cleanliness, roads etc are developed enough as per the needs...i don't know about other states and cities because I didn't stay or visit there...
