Hey Jack. Do you have video on how you cook and season your beans?
I just soak the overnight, rinse them the next day and cover with water and cook. I’ll toss a little garlic and onion powder on them with either some curry or chili powder. Then cook until tender. 🙂

I lllove you keep the things simple! I don’t do special fastings as well-all rav began stuff I do consume is cleansing! Ok I do agree juice fasting for example is beneficial for those who want start a raw vegan journey and are heaving some health issues from the food they ate before. As well I’m sure-to remain healthy it’s not just the healthy food we do consume-important things are our thoughts, positive ones, staying physically active. So-good vibes to everyone and let’s truly enjoy our life journey! 🤍🤗🌞🌸👏🏼

Just found your channel. I try to avoid 'expressed oil,' per Dr. Barnard & McDougall. They say it's ok to eat oils/fats that are naturally occurring in plants, such as coconuts, nuts, seeds, avocadoes. So that's what I try to do. I noticed that expressed oils do make me gain a little weight. I eat NO animal fat, of course. I do add a little bit of avocado oil to the skillet when cooking, but no oil on salads. Actually, I am going to make a salad with your dressing that I saw yesterday! It looked pretty good. Hope it's not too spicy for me... Take care.

Recently subscribed to your channel and really love your simple examples of the food you eat as plant based. As someone trying to switch to a plant based diet its easy to be discouraged when alternative ingredients are recommended that a lot of us have a hard time accessing. Your food is simple and down to earth an available in any grocery store!😊

Hey there! UA-cam algorithm sent me to your channel and I am so grateful!
I’ve been almost vegetarian my whole life, the last 2 years, I cut out all meat/seafood. In the last few months I’ve become interested in adding more raw vegan food to my daily diet. I still have grass fed organic butter once in a while, or kefir but it’s maybe a few times a month.
I do cooked quinoa/wild rice and other healthy grains but only a handful of times a month.
Love your view on food and life… we should be eating for fuelling our bodies, not just satisfying the tastebuds out of gluttony. And tastebuds do change.
I used to love eating chips and chocolate bars, when I decided to take better care of this body and stopped eating those, I stopped craving them.
One day I tried to eat a chip at someone’s potluck event and it didn’t give me any satisfaction or anything.
I was so happy!
I’m planning on living half of the year in Costa Rica soon! Funny you mentioned you lived there. 😊
