So my question is how is the support through Google home?? One of the most annoying things to me about my WYZE camera setup is the lack of support for automated home systems. Everything has to be interacted through the app. I have a garage door opener/wyze3 camera in the garage and to open my garage door. Can't just press the button in my Google home setup? I have to open the app, open the camera, wait for it to load and then press the open garage door button. It's pretty redundant. You can tell Google to open the garage door but then it asks for your passcode every single time... And realistically by the time I tell it my passcode it sends it to the Wyze the Wyze realizes it and then opens the garage door. I could have just opened the apps myself and gone to it. This would be incredibly annoying if a package delivery person is trying to deliver something to me and I have to actually open the app and load it every single time... Which is notoriously slow by that point in time. The delivery driver will probably just walk away.
Very nice review. Like your sense of humor. I like to check multiple channels on any electronic devices I'm thinking of buying or have bought lately. I only have one real complaint with this rig. The Wyze app's print size is TINY and i can't make it larger on my Android smartphone!! I just installed it yesterday and otherwise very pleased with the performance.
To be honest I think Wyze is better then ring brand, I have a wyze brand for the side drive way one and it captures everything. I have a ring in mu front door and it misses a lot of motions here and there. Thanks for the review bro, going to check it out.
Hello . 07/24/23 Thx for the video. I bought this 3 weeks ago. I love everything about it, but it only holds the charg for 5 days, I charged it again, and it is the same problem. I am sending it back. Does anyone who has bought this had battery charged & last 6 months?
You should mention the slow response time for it to start recording. It misses some people walking by it completely. I never had another brand so i don't know how it compares to others. Maybe if you have it hardwired at stays active all the time. i never have that problem with my Wyze cams that are plugged in.
One way to improve the speed would be to increase the sensitivity in settings but that has the detrimental effect of draining the battery faster. I'll try it wired and see if that makes a diff
@@Toolsplit Thanks. I cranked it all the way up. I'll see how the battery life is. There is not that many people walking by my apartment door. My camera is mounted right on my door and i think i would have a code problem if i tried wiring it and i bet it wouldn't change how the camera operates.
Hi Toolsplit. Very good review and sharing of details enclosed with and in the WYZE Pro. Thanks also for dropping in the sense of humor. Thanks and God bless!
Awesome review and thanks for sharing. I just ordered these and was wondering if I could plug in the chime directly to Nigeria's 220v power socket without frying them since Wyze designed these for US market. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks, and subscribed 👍 UPDATE: plugged and seems to work just fine. Although I don't like the ultrabright blue light that activates itself constantly around the bell button. Realy wish I could turn that off.
Hi Thank you for the video, do you have to use the jumper in your existing chime or can you just leave the existing chime as is and hard wire the wyze door bell and bob's your uncle .
I'm afraid it wont work, it only works with Wyze Chime Pro. Wyze Video Doorbell Pro (and the original Wyze Video Doorbell) does not work with your existing Chime
no, you just remove a screw and put the camera in to charge then screw it back in. it's a special screw that won't come out with any screwdriver the camera mount stays tight in place only the camera comes out to charge.
@@yenysanchez20 It is a T8 torx screw but if you use the bracket with the 2 sided tape a thief can just pull the bracket and camera off so the screw won't protect it from being stolen.
I have Ring... My camera was offline last night and I couldn't get it to reboot. I deleted it from the app and reinstalled and it fixed the issue. What i didn't know is it cancelled my subscription and they now what me to restart a new subscription at a higher rate... that's not happening! And I have a feeling they purposefully did this. And yes, I tried to call customer service and they aren't budging. I'm seeing complaints about offline issues which is what's making me think this is a strategy to get people to delete and reinstall. I was going to purchase another camera for my back door anyway and my sister recently said she loves her Wyze... so I'll give it a whirl. so far, looks good and seems like its better picture quality anyway. Wish me luck! I'll use my current ring as a doggy camera so I can turn it on when I want and talk to the dogs!
Google is raising their subscription service from $60/year to $80/year. 33% price bump. I'm leaving Google's system and switching to Wyze. So much cheaper. Not as good, but still very nice.
I hate my Wyze Video Doorbell Pro, so I'm shopping around for a new one. I've had several packages delivered and it didn't notify nor record anything at all! Garbage! Useless. Aaaaaaand when someone comes, the video doesn't start recording until 5 seconds later, so it ALWAYS MISSES the beginning of their arrival. Just a waste of money
Thanks for the review man…I really hope your channel grows man!

Yeah, mine lasts quite a bit. Not six months but at least 3-4. Best to send it back.
Great presentation, love the sense of humor. Thanks for this review, you answered many questions I had about this product.
Glad it was helpful!

You should be able to. If not black tape will do the trick
Nice video. I’m debating about this doorbell cam vs the Eufy.
This one

Lol. Let me know how it goes.
It's not true I have to charge mines every 3 weeks
Great video
appreciate the doorbell review !
I went with Eufy. No subscription fee. My video goes to a memory card in the house.
Great review, thank you.
i think your 8 months later review looks like a first day review? Am I missing something?
Clickbait title forreal lol
I thought Yes’ hit single Roundabout was about to play there at the start of this video

Wow. That's odd, mine works just fine. Have you tried updating the firmware?
I just got one and i'm noticing the same problem. It will miss someone that is quick enough.
How do you hook 2 of them
Ty. Good review!
Can multiple smartphones access this device?
great review
Wow Idris Alba is making door bell reviews now? He must've fell of.
Hehehe, sometimes he's a normal human too :)
that is why no subscribers, talk too much, waiting time
Are you a caveman? 😂
And, I never see them testing the doorbell function. Press the damn thing and show us it works
@@ILoveTheAllCreator1:50 he shows the product working lol
