Matt actually cleaning something dirty warms my heart. ❤😄
I wish Matt liked interiors more. I could watch this all day. Also, the majority of the detailing I do is on interiors. Oh well, at least he brought us this awesome vacuum solution.
Matt, I could show a few interior shots of our family van that would have you praising the cleanliness of your kiddos! You mentioned it early in your video, your making progress and that's a good thing. There's bigger fish to fry then to stress about a bit of garbage in the interior of a family vehicle - thanks for the reminder for me as well! Keep up the awesome work!
The M18 inflator is fantastic. Check out the Lock-n-Lube air chuck attachment. Makes attaching to the tire quick and easy.
Even in the dead of winter here in PA (it's currently 5 degrees and snowing while I watch this) and it's tough to find a way to wash the outside of my truck, I always find time to keep my interior clean. Nothing like it. And the Griots interior cleaner is money.
Nothing like having a clean interior.
Lock n Lube makes a great attachment for that air compressor so you don’t have to screw it on and off thereby loosing air. Check them out.
Matt’s version of Ammo 20 year barn find cleaning.
Matt, I’m an avid OG fan and am much like you, obsessed. Vacuuming is a part of my obsession and I have long loved the Stihl branded shopvacs. Specifically the model SE122 has been my workhorse. I recently discovered that Stihl makes an interior car cleaning accessory pack for their vacs and I think $80 for 3 pcs but I’ve heard good things. Just want to put that on the OG team’s radar. Thanks for everything you guys do.
I always use an LED headlamp while vacuuming the interior. You'll be surprised how much stuff you miss even in a well lit garage, especially on black carpet/interior.
Good idea!
I have one of the M18 inflators and adapted a “lock-n-flate” end onto it so I don’t bleed out a bunch of air when I disconnect. Works great on my Silverado, the wife’s car and our camper.
Matt, the rest of the planet would consider the starting point a very clean car, so you should be grateful for your family and their level of baseline cleanliness!
Man that carpeting looks so easy to clean
The KC gummy spray on the matts attracts everything. Especially in the grooves. Tried it, stripped it off. Granted all-weather matts vary greatly in materials and textures. I applied it to some factory Jeep and Toyota TRD unabused footwell matts. Clean is better than glazed.
Every time I've dressed mats in any way, I've regretted it lol
I love the M18 but the first thing I did was to add a quick released end valve. Presta and Schrader valve for the car and bicycle.
Get a jaco air chuck and milton adapter to not have to deal with losing air in the tires when having to unscrew the compressor hose
Finally a Matt Rant
You nailed with your description of Vegan leather mate 🤣🤣🤣
Vacuum accessories would be a great addition!
*jaw drops and rewatches the vaccum hose scene like, 5 times! 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤❤*
You should do a Q&A stream. Would also love to see a full walk through of all the OG Vehicles.
Matt, I can't believe it,,, the blinds on your door are F"d Up.
One upgrade you can do to the M18 inflator is to change the screw on chuck out. You can get a schrader valve to 1/4 npt adapter and put on the Lock N Flate chuck at the end. So much faster and easier. No more having to rush to unscrew it.
Yep, Lock n Flate is what I have on mine.
I’m 100% doing that. I met those guys at SEMA several years ago and haven’t done anything with it.
Thanks for the tip, just ordered mine. Wonder if it would also fit on my PCL ACCURA 1 inflator?
@@kmpaton You will see that the Lock N Flate comes with another adapter to fit your inflator. You probably already seen that they sell different ones for different inflators. I'm sure you can get an adapter to fit your PCL ACCURA from a plumbing supply or Home Depot etc.
Looking super clean Matt!
17:00 Give Mr poor Matty a brake kids. Ha, ha... You crack me up Matt
I like OG Drying Aid on the screens and instrument cluster.
I've posted that numerous times on numerous platforms.
Great video Matt. This was a great video.
That was great to see the new products from gyeon.
I love to use gyeon products
Thank you for the video
when matt says " i don't get angry like i use to " then frustration level is increasing slowly after that. Matty can't help his craziness. Ha,ha...
Hey Matt, make sure to keep that “Vegan Leather” clean, 😂😂. I think is one of the first times I’ve seen you really put into work to get an interior cleaner. 😂 , great video 👍
I start my freshman year of college in august, and getting some other freshman girls to “teach” me how to do laundry might be a good idea.
It’s a wise move.
I’m getting me a Florida winter home cause I’d like to be outside right now cleaning my vehicles but 29 degrees with 30 mph wind is not the best weather to be cleaning in. See my Floridians soon, hopefully
Great to see a more realistic family/dirty car cleaning on the channel 😉.
What are your thoughts on the griot’s interior detailer for quick wipe downs and/or as an extra sacrificial layer after using the cleaner? Similar to your exterior drying aid.
It also leave a nice matte finish but advertises that it adds some extra uv protection.
I don't like to have anything left behind in the interior, so I prefer the regular cleaner. You can't polish the interior like the exterior.
Matt you may want to get a few interior brushes that are stitch safe for getting debris out of seat crack or like you said forced air.
I feel the same way about my Model Y as you about your Rivian. The thing really grew on me as a versatile fun daily. In fact at one point I was going to possibly get an X3M for that purpose. I lost my interest and it’s so much less expensive to both operate and own. Electricity only comes in one version, no 93 octane price difference.
A brief appearance by the real star of the show 🎉
Tell us the story behind your Rolex Matt. 🙌🏼😍
Those little compressors typically leak air at fittings if used frequently. Would say ok for occasional use.
Garett Mitchell aka Cleetus McFarland is going to build a house and he just announced that on his second channel, you might want to be involved with that if you’re interested
I see you used the Griots Interior Cleaner on the screens. I’ve been hesitant as the bottles say not to and I’ve been using CarPro Clarify instead.
Hey Matt, vegan leather is the right term and actually he comes from some fruit leaves, very different from plastic, if it is actually vegan leather has the same maintenance as "normal" leather 👍
You have vegan leather, there are leather types made of apples, shroooms and al kinda stuff
No
@@ObsessedGarage there's one made in Italy, by Mable that is biodegradable/compostable. I know the new Linustechtips lux backpack is made something similar, so I still would disagree.
The Nextzett Cockpit cleaner is by far my favorite interior cleaner that I've tried before the scent change. I have P&S now but the scent on that stuff just kinda meh compared to the old cockpit. Wish I could get the old one again.
New product PeePee Plug with a bleed valve…FTW
Matt. I was under the impression that the Rivan had an onboard compressor in the bed on the left side. I thought the hose was supposed to be in the gear tunnel door compartment. Just curious.
Yes, it does have it.
Matt have you ever thought about changing the color of your buckets? I may buy them if you did.
We just picked up our R1S. Hands down the best vehicle we've owned! What's your recommendation for cleaning wood trim pieces?
Just use Griots Interior Cleaner and Towel on it.
Thanks Matt!!@@ObsessedGarage
ahhhh that vacuum noise
I’d lower those pressures. EVs have increased manufacturer pressures to increase the range test measurements. Tesla do the same.
Why not use the built in air compressor in the Rivian to fill the tires?
Detailing with a Rolex is wild 😂
You should make a Vegan Cleaner just for Vegan Plastic! "The only animals hurt in the process of making this product were the humans' sensibilities"
A nightmare is when you have to drive on salty roads and dealing with snow half of the year and the kids bring all the dirt inside. That car is clean in comparison to my family beater.
Does anyone else always air their tires up 1 PSI over when using this to account for the air you lose when you have to unscrew the Schrader chuck?
Nope, have never worried about it. 1 or 2 psi low is usually not a problem as long as you're not fully loaded. Helps keep the tires wearing evenly instead of wearing down the centers.
Does the mis match in window tint not make you crazy ? The blues cermic up front but the back is black tint ?
Hey Matt, what shoes are you wearing in this video?
Nike AirMax 2017
Any tips or videos for how to polish the interior screens if they have scratches?
Wouldn't that mess with the touch capabilities?
I have been following and Behind the Hex member for years. I do not remember hearing you had a sister. Am I the only one?
I am a hardcore OG follower, and never have I heard him mention that.
Yes, my sister is 3 years younger.
Do you consider your OCD an affliction or a benefit?
Hard to tell anymore from this perspective.
I think I've been able restore some of the balance of it over the past few years. I'd say it's closer to 50% positive and a contribution and 50% negative. It been 10 or 15 years since I've gotten past 50/50. I'm hoping to get there soon.
@@ObsessedGarage OCD is a superpower if you yield it correctly.
Most do not, you have.
I try to allow my daughter to just be a kid and hide my tendencies when I can but a Jolly Rancher melted to a rubber floor mat makes that difficult some days.
At least it landed on rubber and not the carpet.
You have my full support brother.
Are Milwaukee products on your site better priced then Home Depot?
They should be the same.
Matt, your sister is a detailer? Doesn't want to be a part of OG?
She still lives in PA.
Needs Weathertech.
I’ve never seen a WeatherTech mat that fits well.
I would skip the mats and go with the liners or the LinerHP but that's just my option. @@ObsessedGarage
Matt any updates on Bilt Hamber product?
Meeting with them next week to finalize delivery plans.
@@ObsessedGarage that’s great!!! Appreciate all the hard work you that you do.
What kind of chips ?
Ahoy!
Hey Matt what APC did you use on the mats? Thanks
Koche Chemie Greenstar
@@ObsessedGarage thanks
Where did you get the bike rack from?
*Thank you

Matt doesn't like to dress his floor mats because he's never had some that are 7 years old that bake in the Texas heat and get abused 😂
This is true.
do timelapse youll get more views !
👍
Who eats cereal in the car?!
Using an air compressor on a car that literally has an air compressor built in to do the exact job he's doing...
It shouldn't be you that cleans the interior. If they made a mess inside the car, they should clean it...
