I heard many people won’t get the Cybertrucks for years
Day 1 Cybertruck reservation holder here. I have an invite to order the Foundation Series. I'm not likely to pull the trigger...I can't even test drive it, and there've been a lot of reported issues. I'll hold the reservation until they make me cancel it...but in the meantime, I'm going to lease an R1T! :D
@@joncoutts1671 I'm the same. Day 1 cybertruck holder and got hte invite almost immediately when they opened it up but I know there were going to be issues with first batch of trucks. But I want to lease this truck considering EV gone down in value so fast (and Tesla constant price manipulations). So I am excited to put in a order for a R1T in the meantime.

Awesome! We have a Rivian R1S in Limestone, Dual Motor Performance expected next month! Can't wait to watch the videos and updates/mods you do with this one. 2 years ago I was watching your videos and shortly after ordered my wife a Model YLR....then ended up ordering a MYP for myself.
This is a fantastic truck. I'm not even a truck guy, and I'd consider getting one of these. It's just a very well thought out vehicle. A couple of my friends have them - I wouldn't say they're especially great for towing anything large, but if you go short distances that doesn't even really matter.

Congrats! Rivian is great, you will love the truck. But for the family hauler, the R1S would have been a better choice. But there's no leasing option for that yet.. so I get it. Love the color and wheels!
Great color, my R1T is Limestone as well! So glad I went with that color. And great video as always, congrats on the new ride, you'll love it! I came from a Model Y and don't regret the switch at all.

Welcome to the fray! Absolutely love ours, we have a Model Y and R1T. Just got done doing our first 2500 mile roadtrip in the R1T and was super amazed to get 2.5 miles per kw, so a realistic 325 on the trip, which included some mountain roads, lots of 80mph driving too. Found the trip in the r1t took a ton less stops than our Model Y took last year.
Yeah I’ve experienced the same. EPA estimates much more realistic for Rivian

Congratulations on the new Rivian. I have a model y but would love a R1T as well. The cable is the security cable for things in the bed, btw. Lol. You got a lot to learn with a good vehicle. As for the license plate, i wish I i was in Arizona. If a front plate comes with the car, you have to put it on the front as well. Found that out the hard way here in Illinois. But this state useless as well. Lol

Looking forward to the content. I really like Rivian, but currently own an f150 Lightning and it’s been a flawless one year experience. I’m not sure I could go back to a smaller truck especially on the interior with the family. I’m looking forward to the content though.

Just found this channel searching for Rivian Reviews and you sold me with the Yinzer accent. I'm considering a R1S to haul kids and stuff around. I'm so iffy on dropping the cash on the R1S but I'm looking at a 2016-18 Land Cruiser and the cost savings alone are just insane. I think 2024 will have a lot of great things for Rivian. I have a 18 month old and a new baby too in march and I just think the Truck will be a touch too small. If I got the R1S I would toss on the Frontrunner roof rack and have so much storage.

Love my R1T Quad...wondering what you think in the coming weeks of drive time, about the feel/handling of the "part-time" AWD...as the Dual motor switches from AWD to Front Wheel drive, I think 0-18 mph AWD, 19 and over and its front wheel drive. Can you hear the disconnect?
I do prefer watching Tesla content since it is what I own but, I have been watching Rivian content for the past week just because I was curious to see how it is to own one and whatever so, kinda excited for my favorite youtuber to get in the driver's seat of one and push out some content that isn't just trying to justify all the money they spent on getting the truck. From vids I have seen though, charging is going to suck when traveling but, maybe its a bit different in AZ since we're better than Georgia or Colorado.
