They started with the masks to see how the fans would respond and they loved it. As an added bonus, when they’re on tour, they can live a normal life, in public, because they don’t get recognized without the masks. They say that they like that part of it.

🦵🏼…Recording! 🦵🏼 Slipknot goes hard, and is kinda scary. They do perform in masks. Corey Taylor is really an outstanding vocalist. He does other stuff too. You might enjoy a song from his other band Stone Sour, called Through Glass. He has also collaborated with Apocalyptica.
