    To get the little pull out chopping board out there should be a small plastic black lever near the rear of the slide. Push down or lift up which ever and it should just slide out. There's one on each side mate. Good luck 👍

    Hi Darren . To get the drawer out . There is a plastic fitting you will see in the slider . Lift the plastic piece up on the left side and push it down on the right side and then pull out the drawer . No need to take out the sink .

    Hello Daz,
    Firstly fantastic video I really enjoyed watching it. The modifications you have made are superb, you have been a busy fella. The Maxx fan deluxe is superb... shame the LED are are very cool / Daylight in regards to colour temperature. Looks like it’s probably around 6500k where your other lighting is warm white which gives a more cosy feel. Have you thought about LED strip tape options which are self adhesive as this would be a option to give improved lighting in a 3000 kelvin type colour temperature. There are plenty of options to run off 12v. Maybe you could run all around the back on the ceiling by storage units..
    Keep the videos coming mate and stay safe 👍

    hi darren great vid good to see edits for making life a little easier, the top of the chopping board looksa like it has been replaced, maybe you could cut the sealer/adhesive then remove and fix your own/or reuse the panel to the underside without removing/disturbing sink?

    cool mate. Interested in the tv aerial for camping and the remote LED lights are cool, I see how you did it. You should get a prize for scouring ebay and amazon for cool stuff.... that remote unit is not available any more but a similar one with 4 outputs is, which you could control 4 separate items with.

    Thanks for this, great inspiration. I've got a fiamma wind out awning on my adria coral 660sp... Do the extra side mounts work with any awning or does it have to be a lightweight awning or something? Sometimes I wanna put the awning out but it's hard standing and can't pin the legs down. Just want to know if the side mounts are just an alternative. Thanks.

    Hi buddy. You are a star. Love all your vids showing all the tech stuff. They have been a huge help to me.
    How many batteries do you have to produce the juice to run all of the 12v ' gadgets that you use ?
    T.V./ cameras/ power charger bank / lights / water pump / radio / security cameras / maxair fan .. etc...etc
    I have two 100ah leisure batteries. What do you have?

      Gavin Hastings I had the same thought, it already has the depth for cutlery, just flip it over and reinstall.

  • @jonathankeerie9129
    @jonathankeerie9129 4 роки тому

    Hi Darren, great video. Seems you got lots of little jobs/Mods done with your time off. With regards to your draw issue, shouldn't be too hard to flip it over, should just be held with the screws on the side runners. You might need to made some side brackets so that the inside level drops down enough to fit that cutlery plastic tray.

    You can get a reaction between polystyrene and PVC insulated cables - where you have them routed through the old tv aerial hole onto the roof. Ironically using PVC conduit up against polystyrene isn’t an issue, since it doesn’t have the plasticiser that PVC cables have. The reaction damages both the polystyrene and the cable insulation, making it become brittle over time, so just keep an eye on it. Great updates to the van btw 👍👍👍

  • @williamwalker8610
    @williamwalker8610 4 роки тому

    That drawer chopping board is what you intended to use it for they are a cutlery drawer and images are on google for reference. I think the old owner must have turned the drawer over so should be easy job to sort out just a matter of turning runners

  • @davidpiper3652

    I recognise that park up, been there many times, walking distance of some takeaways and an Aldi plus the town centre is not too far, but life and death crossing the magic roundabout! TV aerial, I took mine off and I got a purpose made blanking plate from GT Towing, I fitted a waterproof box with glands for the cables. A bit neater but as you say no one can see the roof. The TV amplifier is just a power supply to put 12 volts up the coax, all the electronics is in the outside areial.That draw, looks like it's a modification. Are there plastic 'clip' bits that you can depress to pull the whole drawer slide out, mine is like that. (different make and model but the principle is the same.) Stay safe!

    Regarding the slides, pull the drawer all the way out and on the slide itself there is or should be a little piece you can push up. Pushing both at the same time tilt the draw up and it should slide out giving you access to the screws. Oh and you can google it, there are plenary of videos how to get them out. Good luck. Thanks for the videos by the way.
