We've just got a Delta Max 2000 and 400W Solar. Just playing with it at home before we go away in moho next week. We've used it to boil kettle's, even done two loads of washing with it. Amazing piece of kit. We've had a A class an love em, wish we had one now. We had a 9M Knaus and it was brilliant. We even had our 125 automatic scooter in the back. Superb, amazing, brilliant..... but.... big
Hi. A Class is an excellent choice. I lived in mine for years. It was a 1992 HYMER B534. The best layout for me was a rear lounge. Check some photos of the layout.
Potato surprise were here in nottinghamshire (kirkby in inshfield) uk Early 90's. local Place not there anymore but was called chick King. They weren't too bad. (school dinner) If I remember correctly, used to be about 70p for about 5 ish. Think they were a little more breaded than yours just were. (But that could just be fond memories) ✌
We had 10 year old A class hymer and fulltimed for 11 years and absolutely loved it. Did .loads of continent and Scandinavia and no problems. Also winterised for when we were in cold areas.
It will just be a seasoned flour darren. Mixed your favourite herbs and soices in to flour. Dip precooked potatoes into egg and tossed them in flour then back in the egg and bavk in the flour. Deep fry and enjoy.
I love how independent you are but at the same time it looks like u really enjoy spending time with the family. Such a good balance. Loved the vid keep it up and the dream of full time will come true
I have a Hymer b644 with a rear fixed bed with a garage under the bed and a drop-down bed at the front you need to try the drop-down bed out really so comfy indeed mate mine isn't new it's a few years old but Hymers are built to last and they are all factory winterizes from new
I am considering buying my first ever motorhome and have watch so many videos of yours and others. I'm not going to dis you about A Class, but I would be concerned about running costs, fuel and where to park as they are huge. My first post btw and love your honesty and helpful advice.
Glad you enjoy the channel! I've got friends that full time in an A class and they don't struggle with parking, it's all about the type of touring you do plus they are not as huge as they seem, they just look bigger but they are actually the same width as a standard motorhome (2.3m). Hi Darren we've lived in our A class motorhome for over a year now, we bought a Rapido le Rondenneur 909DF she has everything you want in an A class as you said in your video, our Rosa is 13 years old and she's classic no cheap plastic, massive garage and really comfy we love her. We fancied an A-class , Autotrail Grand Voyager, but it was over 3.5 tonnes so that scuppered it. Not a problem for you with your truck license. The space is amazing.

We have had 1 coach built hobby and now 2 pilot A class would never go back to a coach built, had this one 7 years now solid build and no problems at all really warm and great spec.

Personally I don’t think that motorhome prices will drop. New ones are going up in double digit percentages each year and if prices drop the bottom will go out of the second hand market. This would mean that people would be losing too much for new buyers.
I visited the Manchester camping and motorhome show a couple of days ago. I'm seeing around £15K increase in the entry-level of new motorhomes compared to 2019 when I first started going to these shows. The price increase is so much, in fact, that only SIX motorhomes were on display, the remainder being £60K campervans and £35K caravans.
Hi Daz Reference the new Motorhome! Just for information, we had a brand new Autotrail coach built van for 18 months. We hated it and bought a 7 year old Hymer B694star edition A class van. This model has double bed at back, huge garage, drop down bed at front, separate toilet and shower on opposite sites. Large tower tech fridge freezer and oven. Ours is a 3 litre Fiat manual. I get 27 miles to the gallon and it weighs 4.5 tonnes but has loads of pay load! We love this van and will never swop it, it is so well built, it’s beautiful. Lots of light, drop down bed, fixed singles in the back that make into big double, large garage , this is the 463 I’m describing, but different layouts available( and no I don’t work for Benimar🤣 )
love your video's. i bought a Fiat Benimar Mileo 282. Two lounges with two drop down double beds. Great for not having to make a bed up every night. kitchen and bathroom in the middle. Lovely garage. Outsideshower and BBQ point. You can get Southern fried coating for the potatoes. The Ecoflow Delta Max is brilliant. I also have the Jackery Explorer. Both provide all my needs for appliances. Great choice on the A class. I had an overhead before but I much prefer my current A class (Hymer B644) and my next motorhome will be a Hymer B654 not brand new but much newer. I would never consider anything other than an A class after having owned one for over 5 years now! Only about 3 months left of saving then its time for an upgrade. :)
Watch nomadic fanatic' s video from when he switched to a class A .He has never looked back and never regretted the switch and I don't think you will either .Any way love all your videos hope to come and say at the NEC show . Safe travels buddy .

just thought of something else as well if you do go for a Hymer make sure you get unlimited windscreen cover mate also if there is cruise control fitted the MPG drops quite a lot and as go for an automatic mate
I have an A class and I think the next van I go for will be a normal fiat ducato the reason why I would change is because if you crack the windscreen r a panel on the front of the van it's back to dethleffs but it's the lay out your looking for I do love it but that's the only reason I would change but best of luck with whatever you get

I’m big into BBQ/Smoking and have the same BBQ as you for the caravan. Great but if kit, looks like you got the hang of it pretty quick. On my home big smoker I use a Fireboard to control and monitor it - fun gadget for you to loot at 😉 You can share your sessions live online with it so people can monitor your temps and see posts you make on it remotely which is fun.

We went from the swift bessacar e795 to the dethleffs trend a class (essentially it’s hymer) and we love love love it, the drive is so lovely with those big windows and that drop down bed is massive, we also have the king central bed in the back
What are going to do if major for London expands the ulez to m25 like he is trying to get through now for next year as harlow will be inside his new ulez
Just gone from a 1999 Swift to a 2011 Hymer Exsis I 562. Love it :D Really wanted something under 7 meters and to get everything I wanted an A class was the only way. The only thing is it does attract a bit of attention over an older van, I have only stayed on campsites so far so don't know what it would be like parking up like you do. I will brave it soon, just not quite ready yet. Any questions just ask me :)

I'm considering a motorbike in the garage or a tow car so I can find somewhere close to London in the camper then travel in the smaller vehicle. I need to just brave park ups rather than friends and families drives and campsites.

Been two and a half years full time in my a class, similar to you with job etc. specifically got it due to large open plan lounge, it’s drop down bed, pros and cons but this does keep van length to just under seven meters. Has large garage too fits a small motorcycle in, mines a Laika. Left hand drive but useful if you abroad I guess.
Hi Daz, have you seen the new Itineo Nomad it is great, mini A class, just over 6m long with fixed bed and bed up front plus huge garage. I think they are around 65k new, we are thinking of getting one - we live Ongar 😁
