Thrawn is one of the greatest characters in all of Star Wars. He turned a mismanaged group of space Nazis with too much money and pride (the Empire) and turned them into one of the most effective forces in all of Star Wars history without even using the force; something no one else has ever done. And he did it at the Empire's most vulnerable moment. His brilliant pragmatism and strategic genius created a nearly flawless leadership that outmatched anything else the galaxy had to offer.
He’s a unique character

Thrawn is hands down the best villian in star wars, so smart and not straight up evil, he does what he sees best for his people and for the entire Galaxy.

Darth Stalker He was probably more scientific if anything in his genius, considering he was so perfectly coordinated and calculated in every move he made. Philosophical believers were more common among jedi, sith, and other force users.
The greatest Imperial Officer of all time, a total icon and living legend with a genius level intellect as well, who could even possible match him, great video guys, enjoyed! Long live Thrawn!👍

The closest we got to Admiral Thrawn is Admiral Trench, but then again, as you said above, no one can match him :)

I love Thrawn so much, I love the fact that he's not even a bad guy, just trying to protect his people, as well as being quite fair and kind.

No make a 3 movie series on him! 🤯 First one his childhood to the imperial academy,second his rise to Grand admiral (with him telling Palpatine no a number of times), Finally the third him is his genius from day one to his assassination,(and his clone as the final scene!) This one character could revive the franchise is done correctly, but my Darkside prescient sight says that Disney will order 66 the whole franchise after ep nine since they thought they could "disneyfi" a movie series and make it better ( nope epic fail)
Thrawn the best villain and hero in the Star Wars universe. It's a shame that Disney has downplayed Thrawn.
How is he a hero? Thrawn saved countless lives that the old empire would have wasted away and he never did anything without a reason. His ultimate goal was to protect the Galaxy from the Vong and let's be real for just a second, had Thrawn been in charge during the Vong wars many live and planets would have been saved and the war ending much sooner.
Thrawn and Grievous are my two favorite characters, Thrawn for his tactical know how and Grievous for his ferocity!

I believe that big things are coming for Thrawn. His involvement in the formation of the First Order, his Campaign against the New Republic, and inevitable death will all soon be canon I believe. I do not believe he will die in Rebels season 4. I do believe he will make an apperance in the Battlefront II (canon) story mode and that he will be mentioned in The Last Jedi. He's too great a character to waste on a children's tv show death.
I can see Thrawn being double-crossed by General Hux very easily; however, I don't think Hux is anywhere near as smart as Thrawn.

Somewhere out there i can imagine thrawn and Ezra being trappet on this tropical yet almost deserted planet full of small isles and not too deep oceans, and the two has to rely on eachother to survive. Making an improvised camp with something thrawn learned was called (Ducttape) and parts of the ship they crashed in, and after the job was done they sat down and play a game of chess to stay sane. Hopeing for rescue to arrive. Pardon my grammer.
Thrawn is a machavellian being ruthless for a reason, but using ruthlessness for the greater good of everyone.

Grand Admiral Thrawn of the Galactic Empire is hands down one of my favorite characters ever, if I could have one thing it was be his genius. Imagine that. I am a huge imperial supporter too. It would be amazing to adapt, understand, and plan as Thrawn did.

I can usually appreciate the direction someone takes with their art, even if it's not what I would have done. However, if they kill off Thrawn in rebels I'm gonna be pretty angry and extremely disappointed. There's a lot of potential with this character, and to kill him off in such a meaningless way would be unforgivable.
Thrawn reminds me in many ways of Napoleon Bonaparte in our own world.

Read the first 3 books series by a great author Timothy Zhan.You will know Thrawn.
It sounds like he would be a light sider, or at least gray. He doesn't seem at all dark. Thoughtful consideration, open-mindedness, moderate forgiveness, compassion, and mercy. Even positive encouragement. The only thing against him, imo, was his choice in sides. Then again, by the time he came along, the Chiss had been voluntary subjects and allies to the Sith for so long(at least 3000 years), and their people are so uniformal in culture(iirc), why would he, or any of the Chiss, ever question the Empire? A way of life becomes so natural, you can barely imagine life any other way.
The Empire could've succeeded with Thrawn at its helm.

The Scoundrel's Cantina okay I was trying not to spoil it for other people in case they wanted read the books themselves but that was the explanation and you do have a little mixed up the Clone is the one that The Bodyguard killed not the actual throne I was trying not to get out any spoilers for people that might want us to enjoy the books since they are the only real stories that matter

Honestly, I agree with most of Thrawn's political and militaristic opinions. The only thing I don't agree with is his views of mixed-species government. All species, cultures and civilizations should have a fair vote in all matters that will affect them directly or indirectly. However, there should be ministries with voted-in heads of department that only concern themselves with their industry or area of expertise. Rather than the monarchy or full senate-style of the Empire and Republic, there should be an assembly of leaders of each ministry which are voted in by the people. So rather than having a fully fledged senate with representatives from across the galaxy, the senate should consist of the leaders of each ministry. The senate's representatives therefore would be there to vote on matters pertaining to this ministries, and not be there to vote in representation of their electorates in larger matters. These ministries should be the ones to vote on galactic matters, with the senate having the power to elect new ministry heads
Personally, I believe Jadus could match Thrawn if they were to battle each other with the same forces. Jadus is very calculating and plans years ahead I believe he's on par with Thrawn when it comes to intelligence.

Cool video and very useful. I’m looking into Thrawn to model a villain off him in a DnD campaign,. That speech pattern is so off putting and distracting though. Every 2-3 words is an uncomfortable pause making this sound like you’re trying to match a beat or something.
