I just discovered your page and videos - they are amazing and filled with knowledge! I absolutely love all the pictures on web page! Thank you for all the effort, I'm really surprised you don't have more subscribers and thumbs up. Thanks for your work!
Hi Oliwia; thank you so much for your very kind words about our channel and website. It makes it all worthwhile. :) Not sure why we aren't growing fast as a channel, but we love making videos, so we won't let it deter us. Stay tuned to our website as we are redesigning it from the ground up and then will be adding some exciting features in the future :) Thank you once again, glad you found us :)
@@Aquadiction I'm not sure how it works but recently I was searching for a lot of fish content and I haven't seen your channel in propositions from ytb at all. Just because I googled fish info and found your page I noticed that you also have a ytb channel. I don't know if that info helps at all. Looking forward to see the page redesigned! As it is is already lovely and very aesthetic but I'm sure you have some great ideas coming! (I and everyone I showed your page to - loved the sliders with genders so we hope it will stay in some form if possible). Really admiring your work! Lots of luck, cheers! :)
The sexing slider is 💯 staying, in fact the new design will have the male/female photo swap on the category pages cards before you even need to view the full profile pages, for ease ( and the slider will be on the profile pages) we need to work on that feature more so it’s available across more species! Hopefully all with make/female comparisons The first redevelopment will just be based on a newer underlying web technology so mainly look the same ish but allows us to create more feature’s going forward! A long fin/short fin slider, albino non albino slider etc etc) we want to allow people/businesses to buy/sell fish on our platform so will be creating login sections, parts so people can share their experiences with keeping specific species! We Have a lot more ideas and that’s just the basics but nothing will be lost from the old site it will just give me the ability to add endless new features (luckily my main job is as a web developer, so have an edge there) but absolutely commuted to bring the site forward and hopefully remove all ads once we get the buy/sell section up as personally find the ads annoying! We only added our UA-cam link to the site a week ish ago so the fact we picked you up as a subscriber tells me it’s working, thanks so much for your feedback it helps massively 👍✌️❤️
@@Aquadiction Sounds amazing, definitely would use trusted page to buy fish and in future maybe even sell :) My bf is getting back into hobby and is extremely excited. Fantastic species spotlight! The peacock gudgeons is on my short list of fish to get! As I begin migrating to smaller community style fish. Thanks so much for your presentation🙂👍🏻💯⭐️
Thank you so much for saying that Pelham! We are going to try to keep to this higher quality when doing spotlight from now on 👍👍 they are really stunning little fish aren’t they! Hope you have a good experience with them when you get some 👌
Great video as always guys for footage and info. What stunning fish, amazing colour.Definitely will be on the lookout for some of these to add to one of my nano tanks. Thanks for another great one.👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the feedback Phil, as ever! We will hopefully breeding them so if/when that happens and you haven't managed to get some let us know and we will send you some free :)
Thanks mate.I go to an aquatic store located in a local garden centre quite regularly and know the young lad quite well who runs it.I'm going for a look tomorrow and will have a word to see if he can order some in for me.Speak to to you soon Phil.
@philip wilkinson Best of luck, Philip! We may be slightly hooked on these guys now. Finding a nano fish where the males and females are equally attractive is excellent. I believe they are super hardy, as I had these once when I was a teenager in my dad's aquarium. He didn't bother with dechlorination or know about cycling an aquarium and only ever fed the cheapest flake foods. How he kept anything alive is still a mystery to me, haha
Hi,guys. Not sure if you will be interestedbutJust seen that the guy you bought those rainbows from a while back that I told you about has a breeding trio listed for salenon ebay. The auction ends soon though. There is one bid currently.Aquatic fanatic is the listing name, regards Phil
Thanks for thinking of us Phil, will check it out for sure! (I think that guy subbed to us last week funny enough after a shout out for our channel on big fish lads channel! We still have the ones we got last time, kinda just starting to get colours…. Take 44444ever to couloir up! Thanks once’s again buddy 👍👍
I was worried there would be too much flow in my 55g, but there are actually micro-climates in the tank. The front part is pretty high flow so they stay towards the back, but come to the front pretty often actually. The moss is also in the back so they love that. The solo female in the 15g just acts like she couldn't be happier
We maintain a community tank that includes Endlers alongside Peacock Gudgeons. While the Gudgeons may occasionally prey on fry, we've observed no significant impact on the survival rate of fry reaching adulthood. However, the situation with cherry shrimp might differ, especially concerning the juveniles-this remains speculative on our part. In our experience, Peacock Gudgeons coexist with shrimp, yet we've also introduced cherry barbs into the mix. Subsequently, we've noticed a slight decline in the cherry shrimp population, though it's unclear whether to attribute this to the Peacock Gudgeons or the cherry barbs. When housing Peacock Gudgeons with Endlers, you might want to make sure the Gudgeons gert enough food, as Endlers exhibit a voracious appetite, reminiscent of my stepchildren's relentless hunger! :)

Hi APSS, that's some great combination you came up with there. When we get our 3 new 400litr tanks (next week, hopefully) in the first three, we will be keeping one type of corydoras in each, one type of L number pleco in each and one dither fish in each, probably red neon Pseudomugil in one, forktail Pseudomugil in one and Peacock gudgeon or popendetta Pseudomugil in the 3rd! Then when they are done, get another three matching tanks and work around the room. We were thinking of pencilfish as dithers for the following 3 tanks. Coral, red and purple are on our list, any experience with coral red pencils?
