Did anyone else notice the Arena bug at 52:33? Kenji was able to put stun counters on the Eldrazi Repurposer and the Expanding Ooze, but because they were tapped prior to casting the Suppression Ray, they were not actually tapped by the Ray and therefore the Ray should not be able to put stun counters on them. (I verified with a judge that according to the wording of Suppression Ray it should not be able to.)
@@battlemace18 That was my first thought as well, but they are right. While you can target tapped creatures with tap abilities (unless they specifically say "untapped creature", although I can't recall any cards doing so), only an untapped permanent can become tapped. Since Suppression Ray specifies that you choose creatures "tapped this way", you should not be able to put stun counters on creatures that were already tapped. You can check the rulings of this card, it specifically mentions this scenario. It's a bit of a weird rule that doesn't come up often because most spells and abilities that tap are worded in a different way. 701.21a To tap a permanent, turn it sideways from an upright position. Only untapped permanents can be tapped.
I felt like everything started clicking in a couple of recent drafts, I dropped of a good rare and 4-5 decent picks into a r/g eldrazi after getting a chrysalis 6th pick, ended up with 4. The other one I pivoted into the most open color I ever drafted with white, 5 kites, 4 thraben charms, 4 sliths, two rhino's, two dog umbra, a phalge... Staying open reading signals it's the best thing you can do.
There's nothing more ridiculous that a person saying the letters l o l out loud, totally straight faced, without even a hint of humor. You are aware of what it stands for, right?
To your comment on decree of justice at 11:30, scourge came out 21 years ago. Decree of justice is old enough to drink in most places 😅
I died a little when he said that.
Lol I was here to comment that as well!
Everytime I see the decree I sigh lol . I loved playing that card
And it sure needs a drink or two.... "Man, they made me into an uncommon, AN UNCOMMON!"
I commend your courage in completely changing lanes after the first few picks. I'd be too scared.
I’d be scared of not getting enough playables by forcing my original picks. Have to find the open lane in this format
Wut
Great run. Solid gameplay, insightful commentary, and fun draft overall. Appreciate the entertainment day in and day out.

You can tap already tapped creatures, so Suppression Ray tapped them as well (as it says "Tap ALL creatures"

they really should errata that, no reason for the card to be so convoluted...
@@inytt Thanks man, ruling makes no sense :-). I guess even Arena coder thought this was way to silly
It’s always a pleasure watching you play! I learn something new all the time

Well done in drafts and games! What a master! You're in high rank mythic, so are you switching to best of three soon?
Now that your shirt is filtered and we get just Kenjihead you look like Zordon from Power Rangers!
Nice pivot
Sweet deck
Easy seven wins, if you don´t be challanged by a single Eldarazi deck ✌
Suck on Skoa that granduer doesn't trigger the discard itself. You gott find an outlet. Bug is excellent.
