I feel that vehicles in Factorio have way too little self damage when hitting things (at least when they are going very fast). It seems that whenever some mod adds a fast car/train it usually allows you to drive through anything while barely slowing you down.

Usually I don't bother with doors. I just drive through the walls and let the robots rebuild
