All I have to say, after watching the Netflix Adaptation and seeing how clean those fight scenes. How the speed was uped when it was needed. Even the leg movement reminded me how Spike fought. Now people can't say "they can't fight like anime characters". This is proof that "people" can, if you have the talent, and drive. These are fans and yet this was more faithful to the original with its own additions, like it should have been.

Aaaaactually, its bcs spike as a character trait has a SS+ talent in martial arts.
That "dance" that spike does serves to: 4:00 ~ 4:03, react to the first kick, changing the kick's direction with his arms and, at the same time, you can see how he would be in the perfect position to counter with a right kick after deflecting.
And yes, the movements are portrait really well, but its obviusly noticeable that they havent a coreographer teacher instructed in martial arts. That means a lot, pulling this out without that, is amazing.

This was insane. The fighting style and movements were SO clean and looked straight out of the show. It was so spot on, there were things that I had associated in my head with Spike’s fighting and mannerisms that I didn’t even realize until I watched this! The way that the fighting physics that are only seen in animation looked so natural in live action is beyond me. Even things that I didn’t think mattered like the body proportions were spot on. I never though a live action version could look this good!

Everything about this was great - the tone, the choreography, the movement, the cinematography, all of it was faithful to Cowboy Bebop! The quips and humor are far better than what the writers at Netflix were able to produce (the part with Spike kicking Jet was hilarious and feels like something that would totally happen in the Cartoon). The casting was great, you need actors who actually know martial arts to make cowboy bebop believable, especially for Spike (and if they look like him too all the better!) and you guys didn't disappoint - the action was on par with big budget flicks, bravo! For a fan film this is excellent! The actor may not have looked like Spike, but his mannerisms and moves made him feel far more like Spike than the Netflix series.
