Pretty accurate. It could be a bit faster. The best 0-60mph I got was 6.8sec, but that was on a flat surface stretch in L.A. in 60 degree temp. Now I live in Palmdale, over 3000ft elevation, and it's constantly getting 7.5-8.5sec 0-60 times. It's not a fast cuv, but it gets up and goes for a 4,200 pound car, plus gets 30mpg hwy easily.
hmmm. raced one of these in my passat, i beat it but it wasn’t by a whole lot. it was kinda even until 40 till my turbo went full boost at around 45 then i pulled away from it. but from 0-40 these things are surprisingly fast
lmao idk maybe u have mods but I kept dusting a passat in one of these,, even let him get the jump, but I passed him like he was parked 😭 he was even screeching tires
He did start off in 4th. It defaults to 4th gear in sport mode. You have to manually drop it into first gear. I just tested mine this morning. It’s much faster when you launch in 1st…
It displays 4 because during sport mode the transmission only shifts up to fourth gear in automatic mode. I've tested the manual mode and it is slower than this automatic setting.
accelerating from 4th gear would be dreadfully slow, almost impossible with load. the car does best in sport mode because it has revised intake and/or exhaust timing. you can feel it.
Toyota's Sport mode is weird and I honestly don't like it. S4 just means your top gear is 4th unless you manually up shift. You still start at 1st gear and redline during each gear. I don't see how the cap helps acceleration at all.

@@wat6592 I had apr stage 1 tune other than that I was stock I haven’t had the passat in like a year now
Noway you beat this car it has a bigger engine. That person obviously didn’t know how to drive and let you get ahead.
yeah, start from 1st gear and shift until it reaches readline
Chip tuning stage 2 and 0-60 6.4-6.7
Wtf are you saying there is no such thing as “chip tuning” dumbass lol especially for these
The fact that you guys think he took off in 4th gear
Who thinks that

this LEXUS is like REX
we’re you going uphill, this looks painfully slow compared to others
Speed is not something that I would characterize this car with.
I believe you can get a better 0-60 time if you leave it in drive. You got 8 seconds cause you accelerated from 4th gear
Interesting I will try that out next time
It says 4th gear, but it's actually 1st gear.

@@Lucky8s it doesn’t actually stand for sport, it’s sequential mode
