You're probably looking at a blown fuse in the main fuse box for the ignition. The AC Amplifier controls the HVAC system but would be separate from the blower controls, that could also be a fuse if it never came on.
Oil cooler lines, common issue with the the 3.5… supposedly there’s updated ones that don’t fail but when they do fail you may lose so much oil that can blow your engine.
No it usually will never match because they always make parts later on and change the part numbers. There's always a log of the changes so the parts I post in the description will fit.

The display still lights up but the buttons just don’t do anything. As a single mom, I would be so grateful for any advice because I’m gonna try and do this myself.
First thing I would check is if your battery is testing good, it may be a simple issue like that. If it's good, I would unplug the battery and let the whole system reset. After that you're going to want to hook up a code reader to see what the diagnostic code is, so that probably means taking it to a mechanic to understand more of what's wrong.

It is not DI, does not need carbon cleaning. The 2GR-FKS has both port and direct injection, and also does not need carbon cleaning. None of the new Toyotas need carbon cleaning as they have both port and direct injection. Thankfully Toyota engineers were smart enough to solve this issue before it happened. Hi My daughter would love to buy a 2010 Lexus RX350 but we are very worried about the oil coolant line.Have you replaced yours?
Oil coolant line? What's wrong with it? First i've heard of an issue.
Oil cooler lines, common issue with the the 3.5… supposedly there’s updated ones that don’t fail but when they do fail you may lose so much oil that can blow your engine.
Does it have to match the part # of the one that on the car? Or the part # 88650-0E042 that you bought will work on all 2010 RX 350?
No it usually will never match because they always make parts later on and change the part numbers. There's always a log of the changes so the parts I post in the description will fit.
I have same RX and my climate control buttons are lagging. When I click buttons they sometimes react instantly sometimes after 5 seconds sometimes it recognisea 5 clicks but I did 1 (increasing or decreasing temp e.g.) no errors shown. Do I need to do the same as you did in this video?
Hmm, that's interesting. Have you tried replacing the battery first just to rule that out? If it's just the AC, It could be the AC Amplifier, but if it's other things like the radio and menu items then it could be something else.
@@CarolinaCowboysthanks for reply! Its only buttons for climate control. Radio is fine.
Hi.. so I change changed my compressor and condenser as well. And when I put on the AC. It shows this error. Also before I changed the compressor, I have been having that struggle of regulating The temperature outside and inside. So what do you think. Texting from nigeria
Sounds exactly like the problem I was having. The issue is there's not alot of documentation on the issue so mechanics don't really know what to do and it's hard to troubleshoot electronics issues, but this definitely solved it for me
I have a 2010 RX 350 climate control system went bad I replaced it when I turned the vehicle on the screen was reading Climate control system error see the dealer
Hmm, I wonder if you need to unplug the battery to reset the system? Could also be a bad replacement module.
Hi! Please help! My 2010 Lexus rx 350 all of a sudden decided the radio and climate control buttons won’t work. It seems to be intermittent, but the knobs have now stopped responding totally. I had to drive three hours with the heat on high, and I thought that I was going to sweat to death. And I had to do it in total silence because the radio isn’t working.
@@CarolinaCowboys thank you sooooo much 🙏 I really cannot tell you how much I appreciate any advice at all
@@Thatonegirlwhokayaks no problem, please let me know how you end up fixing it!
@@CarolinaCowboys will do!
@@CarolinaCowboys I changed the battery out and it worked! I can’t thank you enough! I’m pretty proud of myself for doing it myself. Thanks again! Winter in Wisconsin and no heat in your car aren’t a fun time 😂🙏
I get the climate control sytem error message in my car but only when it rains really hard? Would it likely be the same issue or could it be something else?
That’s strange, but it could still be random, it will start happening more frequently when it goes bad.
I have a 2013 rx350, does it need a carbon cleaning since it has a direct injection engine?
What do you mean by carbon cleaning? You mean like a fuel system treatment?
2gr-fe does not have direct injection
It is not DI, does not need carbon cleaning. The 2GR-FKS has both port and direct injection, and also does not need carbon cleaning. None of the new Toyotas need carbon cleaning as they have both port and direct injection. Thankfully Toyota engineers were smart enough to solve this issue before it happened. Looking at you, Ford EcoBoost...
My AC has an error saying “check the connection to AC” it does work but blow hot hair, after driving for a while it works normal. Do you think this could be a problem?
Sounds like the same issue
@@CarolinaCowboys I bought a used part to test, they allow a 30 day return limit.
@@Tekevindid you install the used one? Did it fix your cars problems?
@@deeogrady9096 no my problem was a bad circuit with the navigation screen. It gave a shortage.
Good job. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, it was a complicated one
Hello Sir, I am driving 2010 lexus RX 350 but it doesn't have the color monitor? It's black and white and I am seeing temperature is all juggle down, how can I reset if Sir, is there any email where I can send you the video? To show the exact problem sir? This would be of very great help from you?
This sounds like the computer needs to be reset. What I would suggest is to unplug your car battery for an hour, then turn on the car and see if the screen resets.
I have a question, my 2010 RX has a shaking noise coming from the right front end. I have no idea what it might be, possibly an engine mount? Do you know what I mean, is this a common sound? I'd rather not hear and or feel it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Is it when your stopped? Or when your moving slow, or moving fast? or slowing down? Do you hear it outside of the car too?
Whenever I'm driving fast or slow, there's a shaking I both feel and hear. It's quieter after a drive thru car wash.
@@oceanlinerkid First through it's a tire, maybe somethings wrong with it. It could also be one of your underneath plastic parts that's flapping loose
@@CarolinaCowboys I have a 2012 lexus rx350 with blower motor not working. In an attempt to see if power does get tot he blower motor by checking for power at the blower harness wires (hot, ground, control). I accidentally connect the voltmeter to hot and control and probably shorted whatever upstream. Now the car won’t even start. You think this AC amplifier has anything to do with the ignition issue?
@@TamPhan-gc6hr You're probably looking at a blown fuse in the main fuse box for the ignition. The AC Amplifier controls the HVAC system but would be separate from the blower controls, that could also be a fuse if it never came on.
WHAT IS THE LINK FOR THIS COMPUTER?
Here is where I purchased it - parts.longolexus.com/oem-parts/lexus-amplifier-886500e042
How and where can I get one
Links in the video description!
P.S. I have two daughters...both graduates of Liberty University,😊
Nice! It's a great school. My son is there now and I'm hoping my other son ends up there
Im having the same climate system error message and the ac is blowing hot air. Does the message alway mean it the amplifier ? The part is discomtinued here in Canada.
I put a link to where I bought it from, it is sold at various places in the US. First thing to try is to go into the HVAC controls and select the A/C to turn it off, then select the A/C again to turn it on, this is a workaround to get it working.
@@CarolinaCowboysOk mine never work. Even if i turned it on and off multiple time..the ac in navigation screen is always flashing when i push it on
@@jfarhat8607 Sounds like something else might be going on. Have you tried unhooking the battery to reset the computer?
