    Thanks for video. I have similar problem with RX350 2010 as same aircontrol panel. My aircontrol buttons not turned on as well as button LED light. Do you think that I need to replace new aircontrol amplifier?

    Very informative guys! Dang shame so much of the interior had to be removed to access the problem area. Mine seems to have the same issue, sadly. Thanks for a great video!
    Playing with the controls on the dashboard is thus far working fairly well since it "smells" like a 1k to fix to me. 😢

    Thanks for the info. Interestingly I had this happen once with my highlander of comparable gen, but hasn't re-occurred. Been kind of regretting not getting the RX and your 2016+ comparison helped me find your channel. Seat comfort and bump/vibration absorption on the highway (which can be hard to measure) is the most important aspect for me.

    • @CarolinaCowboys
      @CarolinaCowboys  2 роки тому +1

      It's definitely hard to measure seat comfort since there are so many human body sizes, however, sound dampening is measured and part of the specifications. Generally speaking Lexus is always going to have more sound dampening material than Toyota.

      @@touvang3307 @carolinacowboys I also have a 2011 LX570 with 193,xxx and recently began getting "climate system control error" when it was exceptionally hot outside here in Charlotte, NC. When it was only mildly hot the CC worked appropriately. I have run the dx and got the following codes B1447/47 Rear Air Mix Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit and B1449/49 Rear Air Outlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit. The symptoms we are experiencing however do not seem to have any relation to the front versus the rear, they are in both the front and rear. I just bought a 2010 Lexus rx350, and the AC doesn't blow cold air. took it to a local garage, and they did an e-vac and test for leaks, re-charged.. still the compressor was not coming on, they put the "scanner" thing on and said they got the compressor to come on, and AC to blow Ice cold.. but it does not work on it's own, without the "scanner/codethingy. so could this be the AC amplifier? doesn't seem like it could be the compressor, or a relay, or switch if it worked with the scanner? what do you think? .. Thank you.. for the great videos..

    I recenly became the owner of a one owner 2010 RX350. It has 103,000 miles and is like new, inside and out. However, it has a rattle which seems to be coming from the steering column area. I have watched countless UA-cam videos try ing pinpoint the problem. Suggestions have been...tie rods...two piece steering rod coupling...struts...etc. The noise is slight and can only be heard when going less than 20 mph on a bumpy street or road. Was wondering if you have had any experience with this problem? Thanks.

    • @CarolinaCowboys
      @CarolinaCowboys  Рік тому

      Does the noise get any louder or softer if you are turning? First thing to check is to see if you have any loose plastic parts in the engine bay or underneath, or inside the wheel well. If you feel the noise in the steering wheel it could be a worn out tie rod.

    I have a 2010 Lexus rx350 with only 20,000 original miles on it. The air conditioner system is weird/intermittent. So it is really nice and cold, but after 10 minutes or so, the ac goes warm, blows warm air. I found if I turn the ac off for a minute then restart, the ac is again frosty cold. Been happening now for 2 years. Some people on utube say it is a stuck ac compressor motor. Some people can take it apart and lubricate it successfully. Others claim if you put a magnet on thread compressor the magnet will help to “pull” the motor and work. I don’t know, but when it is nasty hot it sucks when it acts up.

      Darn, I installed the identical part number, official Toyota part, new, but it did not resolve the problem. Still says Climate System Control Error. By the way, I realized AFTER I took everything apart that I could have temporarily hooked up the new part IN THE GLOVE BOX. In your video at the 2:01 mark, you can actually unclip the wires and pull them through into the glove box (carefully) and hook up the replacement as a test before going through the trouble of full installation.

      Yeah man The software is no longer supported, I work in tech. The computer hard drive is spinning and will eventually fail. It’s not even the parts that fail, it’s the computers that control the parts that fail. Just to turn the damn ac off, I gotta click menu, go to climate, drag the mouse pointer to the a/c widget and click and like an internet browser. Takes 20 seconds, on my Honda hrv, I just press the ac button. I could understand over-engineering a bridge, but this is just plain retarded. I have a feeling the computer that controls the push to start system will also fail eventually. If the car is supported there will always be updates. They say Lexus is reliable. First thing I would check is if your battery is testing good, it may be a simple issue like that. If it's good, I would unplug the battery and let the whole system reset. After that you're going to want to hook up a code reader to see what the diagnostic code is, so that probably means taking it to a mechanic to understand more of what's wrong.

    • @toddjamison77
      @toddjamison77 Рік тому

      It is not DI, does not need carbon cleaning. The 2GR-FKS has both port and direct injection, and also does not need carbon cleaning. None of the new Toyotas need carbon cleaning as they have both port and direct injection. Thankfully Toyota engineers were smart enough to solve this issue before it happened. It's black and white and I am seeing temperature is all juggle down, how can I reset if Sir, is there any email where I can send you the video? To show the exact problem sir? This sounds like the computer needs to be reset. What I would suggest is to unplug your car battery for an hour, then turn on the car and see if the screen resets.

    I have a question, my 2010 RX has a shaking noise coming from the right front end. I have no idea what it might be, possibly an engine mount? Do you know what I mean, is this a common sound? I'd rather not hear and or feel it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

      Is it when your stopped? Or when your moving slow, or moving fast? or slowing down? Do you hear it outside of the car too?

      Whenever I'm driving fast or slow, there's a shaking I both feel and hear. It's quieter after a drive thru car wash.

      @@CarolinaCowboys I have a 2012 lexus rx350 with blower motor not working. In an attempt to see if power does get tot he blower motor by checking for power at the blower harness wires (hot, ground, control). I accidentally connect the voltmeter to hot and control and probably shorted whatever upstream. Now the car won’t even start. You think this AC amplifier has anything to do with the ignition issue?

    • @CarolinaCowboys
      @CarolinaCowboys  Рік тому

      @@TamPhan-gc6hr You're probably looking at a blown fuse in the main fuse box for the ignition. The AC Amplifier controls the HVAC system but would be separate from the blower controls, that could also be a fuse if it never came on.

      I put a link to where I bought it from, it is sold at various places in the US. First thing to try is to go into the HVAC controls and select the A/C to turn it off, then select the A/C again to turn it on, this is a workaround to get it working.
