The Deads Ripple is another such tune. I was brought up well by my late father who taught me that Donovan who was accused of copying Dylan was just inspired by the same people like Woody, Rambling Jack and my dad’s favourite Phil Ochs
@kostringworks how I wish I had learned to play when I was young when Nirvanas Bleach came out and I was heavy into the Grateful Dead. The whole thing seemed like Alchemy at the time and totally out of reach for someone like me, but now I can actually play stuff like the Delta blues it’s like everything else I like seems easy.
