Thank you. Direct and to the point. Well done.
Hey thanks for watching and subscribing I really appreciate the support. Happy to hear my video helped!
Yessss I also have a 07 accord and one of my fans aren’t working either!! I didn’t know I could check the fuses first! Thanks so much now I’m about to check your other video out!!
Hey thanks for watching happy to hear my video helped and you also learned something. Hope you subscribe to the channel.
Best video out there by far. Question please when jumping the fan from the battery the fans will spin but not spinning fast at all.
@@danielploy9143 hey thanks for watching and I appreciate your feedback. Sounds like your fans could possibly be on their way out.
Good video, thank you
@ryanbradley5891 hey thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it. Happy to hear you enjoyed my video. Hope you subscribe!
I have an issue with my Honda Accord, both of the fans are not working. The Diagram looks almost identical as the one we see here at 1:15 with a minor difference which I don't know what that means. On the diagram in this video there are two Relays, one on the left side (with the cooling system symbol and the snowflake symbol) and on he the right side (only with the cooling system symbol). On my car there is only the one of the left with both cooling and snowflake symbol but the one on the right is just crossed out, what does it mean? Can one relay control both the AC and Cooling fan?
Hey thanks for watching. The best thing to do is check your manual. When it’s crossed out it means it’s not being used and nothing goes in that spot. Without having the car physically in front of me it’s hard to give a diagnostic.
Will this help keep the coolant cold ,only 1of my fans is working, bought a replacement…?
Hey thanks for watching. Yes the cooling fans will definitely help move more air through the radiator to then cool your coolant. Hope you’ll to the channel.
Hi, I have 2006 Accord and none of the fans is working. Relays and fuses are fine, so are the fans themselves (connected them to battery). I've changed the temperature sensor (the one on the engine). Any suggestion what could be the issue? Neither of the fans is working even with AC on, but AC works fine. The engine is not overheating either. Please help😂
Hey thanks for watching. There could be several different reasons the fans aren’t working from fan assembly, to coolant temperature sensor, to fan control module, to a broken wire somewhere but with out having the vehicle physically in front of me we are just guessing at this point. If I were you I’d get a test light to make sure there are no broken wires and then go from there.
I replaced my thermostat, heat wasn’t working- now it does… but now my fans aren’t working when heat is on, but when a/c is on they work? Any answers
Hey thanks for watching. It can be a number of different things from blown fuses, bad relays, or broken wires but if I were you the first thing I’d check is the temperature coolant sensor. Hope this helps and please sub if it did.
💯💯💯
Hey thanks for watching! Happy to see my video helped!
Thank you it was my fuse...
Hey thanks for watching! Happy to hear my video helped! 👍🏽
I have an 03 Accord EX and both fans stopped working. When I tested the relays doing the bypass thing, only the drivers side would spin and nothing from the passenger side. I unplugged the switch from the passenger side of the fan to test with a multimeter if it was even getting power and it showed 0 volts to that side. Is this a relay issue? Wiring issue? I’m thinking I need a new wiring harness but I don’t know
Hey thanks for watching. I’d make sure your getting power from the harness then switch the relays around to rule that out and finally all else points to actual fans being the issue.
when you check for power turn ac on it bypass the temp unit because if it not hot enough it not going to have power to it works like a switch @@ucanfixit1
I've inspected all my fuses, relays, and the fan, and everything is functioning properly. What else would you recommend I try?
(2006 Honda Accord)
@@mrwise7067 hey thanks for watching. I’d check to see if you’re getting power to the fan and make sure you don’t have any shorts/ brakes in the wires. Try a continuity test using a multi meter.
@@ucanfixit1 ok
@@ucanfixit1 ok
I have a accord when the ac is on the ac fan works when temp switch is jumped nothing turns on put 12v to normal rad fan it works checked fuses relays etc
@@sebastianduggan could be a number of things or a bad temp switch but without having the car to physically troubleshoot it’s hard to say.
Stupid question, is the radiator fan supposed to be on at all times? I changed a fuse for my blower fan since it was out and also for my ac relay and now it kicks on when I have the ac button but also shuts off if it’s not on
Hey thanks for watching. The only stupid question is the one that’s not asked. The temperature sensor triggers the fans to turn on and off so depending on the engines temperature it can be on longer than usual at different times.
generally they do when ac is on but should have a temp control also
One side of my fan comes on and off the other side doesn't, and then one that does come rattles a bit looks loose.. Do you think I just need to replace the fan?
Hey thanks for watching. Sounds like it you do need to replace them but first try to wire them directly to the battery like I did to see if it’s the fan.
was it the fan ? let me know thank have same issue as you
@@plutodread97 he never replied sorry.
One of my fan works but the other doesn’t. I try to hit it and give it a little help to make it spin and somehow it started working. Do you know what could be the problem?
Hey thanks for watching. Yea sounds like that fan is going bad it usually happens this way. One side always stops working. You need to replace the whole fam assembly.
Could be the motor or wite harness. U dont need to buy the whole assembly. U can just buy the motor or harness by themselfs
I just replaced my ac condenser fan, both fans work now but only when I turn on the AC. Changed both fan relays. Car isn’t over heating but the radiator fan only comes on when ac is on. Don’t know what the issue is.
Hey thanks for watching. I’d check the thermostat next to rule that out and go from there. Hope this helps don’t forget to subscribe!
Coolant temp sensor could be the problem did u ever figure it out ??? Was it the thermostat ?
I replaced my thermostat… now my heat works, but radiator fans don’t turn on when hurt works but does when I turn A/c.. anybody can help?
Mine does the same fans only come on with a/c on. But hasn't overheat gauge show normal temp
I have honda 2007 k20 engine and my cooling fan only comes on when engine is warm and i spin the wheel? Any one have any suggestions swapped relays same thing
Can be quite a few different things but if it works when you spin it by hand it sounds like your actual fan is bad or going bad. I’d also check the temperature coolant sensor.
Was it making u leak coolant ?
Hey thanks for watching. No it wasn’t leaking coolant I changed it because only one side worked and it would overheat in the summer months a little faster than usual. Hope this helps and don’t forget to subscribe!
@@ucanfixit1basically my fans only come on if I turn the ac on the radiator fan doesn't come on when it's at normal operating temp and I'm leaking coolant at the top of the radiator where the top hose at under it
Did they both work with the ac
Hey thanks for watching. Yes mine did.
@@ucanfixit1 thanks for getting back. Sorry, what I meant was, were both sides of the old fans working when the AC was on
@@bronniesboy yes both fans are supposed to come on.
So…the replacement fans had a broken fan too?
Hey thanks for watching! Good question, the fan I’m using to test on is the old fan that was in the vehicle. I replaced it with one from the junkyard before making this video. You can check that video out on my page. It’s called “Honda Accord Radiator/ Cooling Fan Replacement”, hope this answers your question.
@@ucanfixit1 hello my radiator fans only work when Heater and ac is on
@@clavin162 Hey thanks for watching! Sounds like your temperature sensor is bad. I’d start there and work my way up. Hope this helps. Don’t forget to subscribe.
I know it’s my fan or a fuse without doing that wire test only because when I’m parked or stuck in traffic it overheats when I’m hauling ass down the highway she’s crisp 😂
@Talicamm 😂😂 hey thanks for watching and at least you know the issue that’s the hardest part 😅 get that thing changed I have a video on how to do it!
@@ucanfixit1 appreciate it definitely will be using that vid when it comes in
Is that both high speed and low speed
Hey thanks for watching. Mine only has one speed lol which is “on” 😂
Mines don’t blow that hard
@@FunnyManDynamite is it new? If not it might be on its way out then.
the driver side comes on when i tap it hard and the passenger side doesnt come on at all what is that
@@turtyturty6489 Hey thanks for watching. There’s plenty of issues that can cause this without doing a proper diagnostic and troubleshooting it’s hard to tell but sounds like it can be a short somewhere on the side that doesn’t come on but if everything checks out then your fan is bad.
Problem solved and fixed $135 later for a battery 😞
Hey thanks for watching! Sorry to hear that but happy to hear you fixed the issue.
What was it? I’m having the same issue
@@rudycastellon6360 jumped the gun, new thermostat fans are working...still getting hot. Temp sensor is hopefully the issue.
Y not just turn on the ac and you'll know if the fan working
Are they supposed to turn on even with the ac off?
You won’t know 100% it could be a wire, connection, or a sensor, fuse relay this test eliminates the possibility that there is an issue with the fan it self, if both fans spin direct.
Wtf 🤣🤣🤣
