Please, no more constant camera switching. Really don't need that side view of you looking at the other camera. Very jarring and distracting.
Shut up. Softy
No that camera should always be on there
I liked it - it wasn't jarring for me as I have a high refresh Ultrawide 😂😂
Nice to see someone else bothered by this modern trend. Drives me absolutely nuts every time people do it, I want to know what the justification is for it here.
1:39 FYI, Q2 does not mean "second half of the year". Q2 is "2nd Quarter of the year", which spans from the beginning of April to the end of June.
Damn. I wonder how userbullshitbenchmarks will handle the Ryzen 9 beating the 14900k in single core benchmarks. I'm guessing the verbal gymnastics will be LEGENDARY on this one!!!
Its being compared to a soon to be 1 year old chip lmao. still cant win in multi threading. when intel releases their new chips here soon amd will once a gain be in the dust
@@iequalsnoob intel themselves have said the new Chips will LOSE in multi threaded workloads vs the 14900k/s Intel are going for the gaming crown to try and win VS X3D chips form AMD.. What you said is not likely to happen
Intel will not win anything without having 2 separate 360mm liquid coolers to cool their ridiculously hot and power hungry chips.. Even then it's a longshot. Next gen chips won't be any better than their 14th gen in performance especially in perf. Per watt. Honestly dunno why people latch on to one company's nutsack so hard instead of literally looking at the numbers. Just as said before Intel said themselves that 15th gen won't beat AMD at multi-threading and probably not at single threading at this rate. If they do it won't be enough to justify the horrible power use and cooling requirements for lack luster improvement. @@iequalsnoob
Intel is falling behind with every next gen more and more I doubt AMD will be left in the dust anytime soon.@@iequalsnoob
@@iequalsnoobyah right, intel can’t even make their recent I9s stable for gaming/work without needing a 360mm aio (while still overheating). Lmao even with the cooling they are just straight up dying.
I would be surprised if there is a 9900X3D, considering the 7900X3D isn't doing that well sales wise. I think AMD is better off leaving out the 9900X3D and just launching the 9800X3D and 9950X3D.
The 7900X3D only isn't doing well because the 3D V-Cache is only usable on 6 of the 12 cores. Making it worse for gaming than the 7800X3D which has all it's 8 cores with the 3D V-Cache. If the 9900X3D was a 12 core/24 thread CPU with all 12 cores using the 3D V-Cache it would be far better off than the very stupidly designed 7900X3D. The 7900X3D just shouldn't exist in it's current form.
@@krullexneoI'm in agreement, make both ccds 3D v-cache on the new one 9900x3D(heck I even advocate for doing the same to the 9950x3D and shutting off the cache when the application doesn't call for it for example, it doesn't make sense to me why both ccds wouldn't have the extra cache when the situation calls for it and can say "I don't need this much cache" when the situation doesn't).
The 9900 model is used to sell the faulty CCDs produced that might have up to two faulty cores or can't reach the speed spec needed to be included on a 9950 model. That's CPU made to cut manufacturing loses. Intel does the same with their mid and low range CPUs. based on this leaked benchmark. Performance for the 9950X should be excellent on multicore tests as it will have less effective latency due the 8 cores CCD instead of the 6 on the leser model.
@@krullexneo Heard they will solve that CCD issue in Zen 6. Being all placed on a interposer via chiplet and significantly reduce CCD latency. In that case a single V3D cache will not hinder gaming performance for 12 or 16 cores Zen 6.
The 7000 series was very expensive when it launched. It's much cheaper now. The 7900 is a cut-down version of the 7950 and sold much cheaper to appeal to bargain hunters. I bought the 5900X because the 5950X was too expensive based on $/workload.
Since the AM5 platform is here to stay till 2027, I may not pay the extra money for the 9950X3D if the 9900X3D is 5% slower but 10-15% cheaper. It all depends on the thermals of the new chips too.
And by the time the Zen 6 or 7 arrives, I could upgrade anyway.
Did he just turn Italian?
I don't mind either type of video you make, meaning these talking head or the fully edited videos, but I do think those camera side shots maybe look a little bit odd and I'm not sure if they really fit these news/info kinds of videos very well.

Does anyone know which of the coming X3d chips will be the best for gaming? Should I be looking at the 9950X3d or the 9800X3d
I wonder when those 9000 chips are released, will motherboards that are CAMM2 compatible be available? If so, I will hold off buying a new motherboard until then.
CAMM2 its new standard so don't be a guinea pig
@@Khalidd7 CAMM2 has been out for quite a while in the laptop space. It's really nothing new, just bringing laptop tech which is identical but superior to the desktop. The ram communicates the same way with the same protocols, it's just a better connector to plug that ram in.

sooo.. should i wait for 9900x or head on with the current 7800x3d? assuming im using a b650m motherboard
3rd party benchmarks should arrive later this month, if you can wait 20 days or 3 weeks you should get your answer by credible sources, right now noone actually knows
plus the fact that can make negative curve in pbo after optimizing, add some mhz, could draw less energy e gain more score.
Sir should I build with amd ryzen 5 7600x or wait for amd k 9000 series or now intel's arrow lake processor is also going to be launched so would it be better to wait or not because i have to build only for gaming and what about intel arrow lakke- it will morepower full than amd ryzen 9000 series
I like the news this guy gives, but his body movements are uncannily overexagerrated
Thats the best part!
As opposed to underexaggerated?
@@chesshooligan1282 As opposed to regular movements. Sad I had to explain that to you.
@@dreadtrain2846 Sad I need to explain to you "overexaggerating" isn't a word, as "exaggerating" already means you're overdoing something. That silly expression is similar to saying "very fantastic" or "extremely atrocious." It's bad English. @@chesshooligan1282 Sad that you got butthurt over what we all knew he meant. Very sad.
The second cache chiplet would be helping issues that come when scheduler guesses wrong, not as much as correct guess but it would still help.
Hit on another cache helps in terms of both bandwidth and latency, but a lot less compared to if it was local.

I'm holding off getting a new computer. My 8600K+1070 Sea Hawk is dated, but I'm conflicted between going X3D+RX or 8000-series G/APU.
Well 1070 GTX is enough if u wonder APU....
The total amount of L3 Cache feels lacking...I want more.
dude this is so good.....i have an itx build and my 7700x gets 80c when gaming so ill definitly get the 9800x3d so it will help with the hot tempratures and give me extra boost in games...keep us posted please

X3D? More like "Amazing; can't wait to see!" 👍
i think i was expecting more than 10% over the 14900k. im due for an upgrade, but i think i will wait for intel 15th gen before making any final decisions. besides, there isnt anything coming out in the near future that should tax my 5 year old system any harder than it is right now.
In deed I'm not so impressed by Ryzen 9900X's Geekbench scores.
Just tested my 7900X (Geekbench 6.3 though) these days and it results ST 3.032 und MT 19.086.
It is also limited to the 120W profile intended for the X3D chips - and the Curve-Optimizer is applying a simple -20 all-core tweak. RAM also is rather common 6.000MT/s CL36.
While 3.401 ST seems a good 12% increase compared to a slightly tuned 7900 - the MT performance hopefully improves until release.
As the tester still used the older Geekbench 6.2 maybe the scores differ - or at least the test-data is already somewhat older (Geekbench 6.3 was released in April)
It's over 9000!!!
hey Q2 means second quarter in the first half
Almost didnt click the video because there wasn't an over reaction face freeze thumbnail.
Still gonna wait for Radeon to have the same moment as what ryzen is having rn.
Oof, that new camera angle is distracting.
*CAN'T wait for AMD X5D, or X6D CPU's*
Cool entrance like graphically challenged, or I should say cpu challenged in this case
AMD should have increased the cache on this 9000 generation. That would make this CPUs monsters powerhouses for work. Probably their server counterparts would be unstoppable.
The 9900x are just 20% faster with those boost profiles. 14% without.
If games are largelt GPU limited, do we really need a gaming cpu other than 7800x3D?
If the iGPU is good enough, might be able to ditch the discrete GPU.
this is 100% true. we are gpu limited more then anything. even with a 4090 if you turn it down to 1440p you gonna get 100-200 fps anyway.. not need to go past 7800x3d right now. Plus people are forgetting the burning cpu deal when the 7k series dropped.. whats stopping that from happening with 9k series..
@@turboimport95which CPUs were burning?
@@Shahzad12357 That was a motherboard issue, not a CPU issue. It was mostly Asus who effed up and used far too much vcore on Zen 4. Burning and self-destroying CPUs seem to be very trendy these days, both Intel and AMD platforms have excelled in that respect over the past 12 months.
@@looks-suspicious yeah that's what i wanted to prove by asking him which CPUs were burning so that i could tell him that(sorry for my bad English)
In theory HALO could come to desktop if they used CXL, however, i'd expect the maximum speed over this bus would be 5600MT/s would still be faster than 2 channels at 8000 but not as good as laptops and sff with true dedicated quad channel
Well disappointed about AMD not targeting the high end gpu wise
very few can pay expensive gpus, the sales are in mid range, the money comes from there, entry level is being destroyed by apus, that is the market now
Can it beat gokux3d though?
Im giving a like just for the intro LOL
Q2 means Spring. 2H means 2nd half.
nahhhh these comments talking bout freestyle swimming 💀
whats with the camera angles? Old style was better
Geekbench 6 Multithread score are broken, please refrain from using them as reference. They basically use multithread in a "realist" gaming situation, it barely use more than 6 cores. So for any cpu superior to 6 core, these numbers are unreliable as a fair comparaison...
I expect AMD to drop R9 5900X3D and R9 5950X3D in 2025 just for the meme
Geekbench is a fairly unreliable tool for comparing anything but the same chip (for tuning purposes).
I'm going to be mad if they release the 9950X3D with v-cache on only 1 CCD again... That was a STUPID move last gen and doing it again is only going to hurt sales, like it did last time.
i miss the 4 mins videos
thanks
Is it faster than 7800X3D?
Of course the 9800x3d but not the 9800x

@@supernice_auto yeah thats my fault for not mentioning specifics. I am just frustrated that they will force us to wait longer on GPU. Now I have to save longer and longer instead of just paying part of it at Christmas.
Disappointed 9950x3D isn't double vcache chiplets.I don't give a damn about overclocking. My 3900x will soldier on until AMD offers what I want to upgrade. I really don't need to upgrade with a 12 core anyway but will once AMD figures it out.
🤣
Zen5 is amazing
higher is better: efficiency
intel i714700k 253w points per watt: 139= 50%
ryzen 9 9900x 170w points per watt: 202= 55,4%
ryzen 9 9900x 120w points per watt: 275= 100% (base effi)
intel i7 13700k 252w points per watt: 122= 44,36%
ryzen 9 7900x 170w points per watt: 171= 61,65%
so the ryzen 9 9900x at 120watts is the cpu with best efficiency ever more watts more power isnt everytime true :D
edit: lol i forget the 13700k...and fixed :D
Im a software engineer and i will always choose intel because of the architecture. AMD's ingunity fabric is still too slow and when i run unoptimized multi-threaded tasks, intel always finishes about 4x as fast and even an 8 core will finish tasks ywice as fast as an AMD 16 core
AMD should focus on having FSR3.1 in all games, better drivers and better raytracing.
the implementation is also game developer dependant, not only gpu dependant
Imagine a 3D V cache APU
