"Amd's entire rtx 5000 series line up" :P
It's one card LOL
2 so enough if we'll priced@@selohcin
I think the comment is stating how he says AMD'S entire rtx 5000 series even, tho it's Nvidia lol
Hey maybe AMD's next gpu will be almost as fast a 4090 and cost half as much...
Lol yeah. That was a goof. I have no clue how I didn't notice it when editing either. Sorry about that.
I'm crying deep inside when I read comments from ppl justifying paying more than 2k for these cards.... This is how companies price hike if customers are ok with paying this much for a simple part of a PC....
6090 - "Oh it's only $3000 not much more than 5090"
Well its not really a gaming card at this point...more like discount version of enterprise-grade cards. And these things are *EXPENSIVE* , so much so that using 4090 on its price peak isnt that actually bad deal.
while Nvidia's H800 cost $40k these 4090/5090 cards is basically entrance to the AI segment (or other intense tasks like rendering etc) for the retail enthusiasts, you don't really need it for gaming...
7:42 AMD’s entire 5000 series!!!! Hell yeah!
I'm calling it now! 5090 is going to be 50% faster than 4090 and will cost $1,999!
I hope ur right with the price.. Im afraid its gonna be worse since there is nobody to contest the 90 for the second year now.
I'm calling that they'll increase the price by the percentage its better than the 4090.... 50% faster, better be ready to shell out $2400USD
@@theironangel767 Actually the RTX 4070 Ti Super is 17% faster than the 4070 but it is 67% more expensive so if this also applies to the RTX 5K series then we can expect NGreedia to ask for a significant sum of money.
Nah not for 2k. I recon they'll be popping on 10% extra at least.
They are called Ngreadia for a good reason, also new memory class and a wider bandwidth? They dont want to eat into their professional card profits too much, it will be getting a price bump at least.
Make it 2500 and you might be right.
The gap between the 5090 and 5080 is INSANE. I'm shocked to see the X80 card have LESS THAN HALF of the silicon of the X90 card.
Nah the 5090 will be getting cut down to likely 160+ SM. We already know it’s 448bit not 512bit.
Well we will see@@ZackSNetwork
And the price gap between the 5090 and 5080 will not be that INSANE i bet you .....
That Twitter guy has "guessed" more wrong than right if spend 20 minutes and review old videos, this is pure entertainment while we wait.
It's probably because of china export restrictions, the 5080 can't be more powerful than the 4090 so that's for the china market but the 5090 can be as powerful as they want bc it won't be sold in china. At least that's what MLID said roughly.
And there are other leaks that seem to suggest the 5080 will be a slimmer and more efficient 2 slot card.
Depending how they price it the 5080 might be a good deal because you essentially an "optimized" 4090 with rt uplift and gddr7 without the usual 4090 downsides of being huge and melting connectors
Also potentially leaves room for a 5080 ti
Since AMD not going to compete with half the GPU lineup I bet Nvidia does a step down like they did a few years back. Expect what's labeled 5080 to be the actual 5070 chip equivalent and do it down the entire stack.
Exactly nvidia doesn't even have to try
@jasonvors1922 as profitable as their A.I. chips are, they literally get paid not to try since that means less gpu's sold which means more silicon for A.I. chips.
& losing some market share also helps them not be a monopoly. Which, surprisingly, only takes 50% markershare to be legally considered one.
I'm not sure if wearing a motorcycle helmet counts as a buckle up.
GB207 with no GDDR7?, jeez... Nvidia making the x60 class GPUs worse and worse to force you to buy a higher tier GPU, nice...
It's a repeat of the rtx 40 series and will follow the same pattern, Stop buying their products
@@jasonvors1922 hahaha and buy what? the crappy amd cards that are coming?
@@iequalsnoob Buy used cards it gives them the finger 🤣
I feel like gb207 is gonna be reserved for like a rtx 5050 or maybe a 5050ti. It's not going to be the 5060 class of card.
I really don't like what they are doing in 40 series tbh, "4060" is basically a "4050" lol
Im starting to think NVIDIA has 8k in mind for the future of the xx90 series cards
Xx90 - 8k
Xx80 - 4k
Xx70 - 1440p
Xx60 - 1080p
Xx50 - budget
It's more that they have physics demos (molecular) that run at 30fps on current hardware, inefficient AI with large delays, and other proprietary junk demos that take too much power to run. If it runs fast on a supercomputer, they'll try to push the supercomputer on us and say it's an exclusive experience and we'll all missing out.
The more you buy the more you save 😅
@@mikeb3172damn good point u made me see. Guess they gonna have to find ways to not make us use thousands of dollars for an insanely high end graffics card that only runs well on the most expensive hardware. Still u can't by a porche and place on cheap tires.
not really even with 5090, maybe 4k in decent framerate...
@tomasdvoracek6098 not yet with the 5000 series, but you can see the specs of the 90 series really take off beginning with the 4000 series and even more so with the 5000.
That is, if the rumors hold true. Every possible configuration has been rumored at this point.

7:40 you mean Nvidia right? :D Honest mistake I think, saying AMD / Nvidia, its bound to happen ;)

Yeah, you're right, AMD RTX 5000 is gonna be insane, and Nvidia RX 8000 won't compete
At this point, the 5090 is a poor man's ML card. It is not a gaming card. And, nVidia is throwing bones to gamers.
It's funny how Nvidia creates Ray Tracing cards, then AMD and consoles follow. Nvidia adds DLSS to their cards. AMD follows. Nvidia add Frame Gen to their cards. AMD follows. Nvidia add AV1 encoding. AMD follows. Now it's "Nvidia doesn't care about gamers, and AMD is the savior 😆

I feel like Nvidia is going to be like: "The 5090 can crush anything at 8k 120fps. We're going to go back to AI stuff now...have a good day."
Nvidia is just Rick from Rick and Morty as this point. If they want they can just zap an even better gpu into existence but the reason they dont is because what they made already transcends everything else.
I just hope you guys can beat the scalper bots this holiday, good luck 🍀
10:36. I think this is correct. They will compensate due to the smaller process node.
Highly unrelated question but what helmet is that? I have a similar size head and I am in the market for a nice modular helmet.
I hope they fix the power connector on the 5090.
haha 5090 go boom
people just need to learn how to plug in a gpu properly. Nvidia has put basically an IQ-test there
@@Confector69 They are having an "ID10T" error.
Nvidia really doesn't want people buying the 5060 :) keeping it on DDR6 and reducing its core count by 17% .. with higher Mhz and better IPC.. it should perform around the same as a 4060 :).. yep 100% checks out because the 4060 performs around a 3060
Bruh that's because most folks are to dumb to realize the gimp to keep buying the garbage Bruh
Yea, it's almost as if Nvidia cards have more features than just raster performance 🤔 Weird.
@@EveryGameGuru ok now I see that ur braindead, how is your comment relevant to defectiveclone's? Nobody, and I say NOBODY cares about ray tracing on such a low end graphics card, 4060 performs poorly on RT, hell even 4090 performs mediocre with RT on, keep on being a fanboy, why not use logic eh?
@EveryGameGuru Rasterization performance is basically the only important factor. AI shenanigans rarely look that good or add a ton of display lag. At 1080p and 1440p dlss really looks like trash. Nor will it be fast enough for Ray tracing. Dlss is really just running on a lower resolution but slightly better. Nvidia used to pride itself on making reasonably priced amazing graphics cards now they're making hot garbage and charging an arm and a leg for it.
@@lunawense6288 As somebody who has used RT and DLSS since the 2080Ti (then 3090, now 4090), I can tell you personally that everything you've said is false (or at best, opinionated) If all the AI features were gimmicks or useless, AMD would not be putting as much effort and money into their dollar store knock offs. What do you mean "Not powerful enough for Ray Tracing"? We're talking about Nvidia, not AMD.
imagine the xtx was just a typo lol
I think I remember early leaks suggesting even the cut down gb202 was a monster compared to ad102(~55% perf increase) and there was a potential shot at the full gb202 being release later on.. plausibly a 5090ti and I even heard rumors of the Titan returning (~70% perf increase).

Why the modular motorcycle helmet?
Turing cards with GDDR6 are 10% faster than GDDR5... There's actually a good perf boost going to the next RAM gen.
Concerning Navi 48 XTX:
That's just the internal code name for the GPU. For example, Navi 21 XTX was the 6900XT and Navi 21 XT was the 6800XT. If we apply that same logic, then the full Navi 48 XTX die might be the 8800XT and the cut down XT and XL versions could be the 8700XT and base models.
Concerning RTX50 specs: I'm pretty sure they're going to undo the tier shift we got with the 40 series. So, GB205 shouldn't be anything higher than a 5070. It's more likely to be a 5060/Ti. GB207 looks like a 5050 to me or a laptop 5060.
Just checked on those headphones..
$130 at BestBuy, Walmart and Amazon.
I would be fine seeing tech companies focus on efficiency over performance for a couple generations. CPUs and GPUs are already mega powerful, how about focusing on getting those tdp down?
I think there will be max 15% actual performance gain at any level or more realistically average 10% increased performance with plus or minus in different games.
SM increase isn't an overall increase dude! It has to be measured with all aspects like IPC, clock speed, and memory bandwidth. Seriously dude? You should have known about this.
hmm, i'm curious, i wonder should i go with 4070 or 5060?

4070 is a better option 5060 will perform similar to 4060 but 4070 will outperform 5060 easily
@@trippiegod thank you, but well i'm not just looking for better raw performance, i also looking for the cheaper price and lower tdp (with some new feature)
i hope the rtx 5060 is above 4060 ti, if not/same then i would like to buy 4070
Would be better just to get the 9000 series. Performance gains from 3d vache vary depending on the game
If the GB207 is the 5050 and not the 5060 Blackwell could actually be really good
Nice crash helmet dude, becareful you don't fall off your seat!
so, 5060 will also have 8gb vram with 128bit bus and again ddr6😑,

So I need an upgrade and I'm prepared to spend. My system is 7 years old. I have a 1080ti which is finally starting to show it's age. What is your opinion? Buy now (4090) as I'm keen to get started on some titles but can't play at a good enough quality or continue to wait and but the 5090?
What's your CPU and your monitor?
Because you can buy a 4090 but your CPU or monitor might bottle neck it
Hi yes I'm aware this will be an issue. I am upgrading my whole build. Every part. So upgrade now or wait for the 50 series?
Bro just wait for the 5090 at this point. Pointless spending an absurd amount of money on a 4090 only for it not to be the best GPU in a few months. A little more patience sir
Just wait your build already isn’t bad
I personally don't hear about anything but the 90 series since that's the one I get each generation, it's kind of interesting and a odd move if there isn't some unknown factor here as to why the less expensive cards are not more feature rich since AMD basically has given up on competing in the high end segment and is putting all of their energy into the mid-range and lower. Usually more competition makes better prices and better products not worse. To me that does support the idea that they must be getting around a purely core count model and that they're able to get performance gains by quite a bit through other means than raw core power
The performance gap will be astonishing. I'm so hyped about the 5090 pairing with a 15900ks. I'm gonna get the white rog edition. Hope will handle well War Thunder on max settings in 2k.

Regarding x3d, if the entire 9000 series fails to beat the 7800x3d, for a vast amount of customers, that whole generation is doa until x3d arrives. And even if you buy a new setup, why would you put a new 9000 series in when the 7800x3d can be had on sale. The price of these new chips needs to be cheap or they are pointless to most people. People will argue productivity but tbh, you would buy a completely different thing if you actually wanted to use it for work, ie threadripper or epyc

The 7950x can definitely beat the 5800x3d in games, just depends if the game scales better off cache or cores.
@@VexxedSR I agree it's game dependent.
But if the 5800x3d wins in in 20 games and the 7950x in 5 it's still an overall win for the 5800x3d. @@ZoeyR86 Yea it's all use case, for me if it was the choice between cores and cache I think I'd be more inclined to go with cores but the only real game I play that scales very well with cores/threads is BeamNG, would be fun to have 100s of AI cars driving around (if the GPU doesn't explode first lol)
@@VexxedSR for me it's mostly working or Sims either racing or flying.

Unless you are still gaming on 1080P, the CPU is not your limit.
Just think about this.. 1060 to 1080ti is 3x cores/performance. 5060 to 5090 is 10x cores/performance. Nvidia is going hard to screw the mid range.
