if you kill bayle without talking to the npcs you still get all the rewards except the blessing

I'm trying to directly compare this unnamed giant dead dragon at the Grand Altar to Gransax and I can't figure out who's bigger. Gransax definitely has bigger wings but the bodies and heads seem pretty similar in size.
I think the unnamed one is much larger than gransax
You can just watch the 2 dragons fight until one of them kills the other one then you only have to deal with one.

Its honestly easier to get a few hits in while the dragons distracted on the weaker one

@@fatherpluto use the dragon sword and blank blade spells and just use the mimic as a decoy while u soak the swords ability and the black blade spell

If you don’t care about the priestess heart/ can’t beat bayle while going up you can find a ghost chair stand infront of it for a few seconds and it will drop a rock heart
Thats the second dragon form, theres two in this dlc. One buffs red lightning the other buffs the dragon head incantations
Thanks for this. I got to the arena and couldn’t find the summon sign thought I messed up. Didn’t realize the summon wouldn’t appear till the boss does.
Ignon isnt showing up after the dragon battle. Any advice? Even went back to previous spots, nowhere to be found
Tip for the two dragon fight, make sure u only hit one of them, the other one wont aggro you
Con what are the stats on the armor if you know
kinda much +7.000 in all status. It's nice because let you play without armor on basis game since add 0 weight, and give some boost to Red Lightning incantations.
Hey I did everything in the quest, besides summoning Igon in the fight (I forgot).
Still I got his armor, bow and the dragon lady items too...
Soooooo does summoning him add something to the quest (besides the rawest line of dialogue in the boss arena)

You don’t have to summon him
You don't actually have to fight both those dragons together. When you get up there and wait a second before you approach them, you'll notice that they're fighting each other. You can just wait until they're finished, and fight the winner. That's how I beat that part.
The dragon blessing is permanent once u use it or just until you die? I'm kinda new

This item is non-reusable and must be re-obtained by speaking with the priestess. There is no cost from her and she will grant you the blessing an infinite number of times. If the dialogue option "Ask for power" is not available, simply rest at the grace and that should reset it.

small tip! if you can't (or don't wan to) defeat the two dragons that is fighting you can just wait it out and kill the real boss
Just a side note, why is igon so strong when you summon him😂 I swear we staggered bayle like 3 times

I killed the dude before even getting there and thought I ruined the quest but nope u still get the dragon form when u kill Bayle and go back to the dragon communion
I believe summoning Igon doesn't increase the boss health bar since his summon sign is after you've already entered through the fog wall and started the fight

What build should i use for him at most ive gotten him to half hp after a couple tries
nuke him with magic from afar and use igon and a summon he has too much range to attack him at close range
I went and completed jagged peak besides bayle, without ever knowing igon existed. Now I go back and try to find him to start his quest after killing the dragons, besides bayle, and I can’t find him anywhere. Followed this guide looking for him. So did I screw myself out of his quest??
I’ve spent my time helping people fight bayle for the past few hours after I renamed my character igon and put on his armor and maxed out bow
Plus I’m using the spell you get from bayles heart

You can use it as many times as you want, it is removed by dying
Is the priestess heart gone after you transformed? Will I turn back human if I die?
it works like the shackle items or the blasphemous claw, it's a tool that stays on your hotbar. if you use it while in dragon form, it boost dragon incantations
Fighting bayle whilst being on NG+++++++++++++++++++++ hits different (he one shot me every attack basically)

There's a tree fragment below the falling rocks
The dragons on the mountains fire 1 shots me
Try getting the flamedrake talisman 3 it helps a lot
Use "flame protect me" gives you 60% fire resistance which is huge
It’s means you don’t supposed to be in that area.
You need to find more tree fragments then

Does anyone know how much is boosts dragon incantations by? Like what are the buffs?
So one form buffs the red lightning and there's another form that buffs the dragon head incantations. I was also told you need to use the priestest heart, transform, and then use it again to gain the buff. Also, these buffs i believe are at 20%.
can you get the ancient dragon man armor?
You can, but u have to pick up a painting in Shadow Keep first, then find a spirit from the Painting on Jagged Peak

They put Igons summon sign in the worst possible place and its nearly impossible to summon him without dying

you can get the Dragon Priestess as a spirit ash if you dose her with Thiollier's Concoction at Night. (THIS HAS TO BE DONE BEFORE BAYLE IS KILLED). Then she says she has no lord and that you will become her lord, so you get the ashes

Take note if you do this route, you will not be able to get the Dragonbolt of Florissax from the dragon priestess.
If i get the spell, can i get the heart or are they mutually exclusive?
@@cello934 you only get the spell dragonbolt of florissax (after defeating bayle) if you have given the priestess at night the item you obtained from Thiollier. You can only get either the dragonbolt or the heart & hammer per playthrough.

There are actually two dragon forms. You get the other one by doing a painting puzzle. The Dragon Priestess Heart boosts dragon cult incantations, while the Rock Heart boosts dragon communion incantations.
Igon summon's location is the worst 💔 especially when some funny people put their massages around 😅

The upsetting part is that I talked to the priestess after finding Igon again, got the blessing thinking I had the dragon form, and killed Gayle alongside Igon without talking to him again for the dragon form. I am eternally upset

Awesome. Mainly wanted the Flowerstone gavel so a huge thank you! Bayle was my toughest dlc fight so far but got him on 4th attempt (savage lion’s claw on blood rusty anchor: scadu @ lvl 10). Previous dragon was a chore too but rewards were worth it!

If it still doesn't work, try going to Limgrave. That's what I did to get it work
