Stepney is a Terrier, Pannier 57xx, GWR 48xx (the GWR era name for a 14xx), 3F Jinty and a Standard 4MT Tank (BR Standard Range Class 4 Mixed Traffic Tank Engine).
+Ezrah Cowans that BR Standard Class 4MT Tank Engine looks more like Belle to me. Arthur is based on the LMS Ivatt 2MT Tank Engine and Belle is based on the BR Standard Class 4MT Tank Engine.
Just to say even if the E2 was here it would be like 3rd because its made for shunting and the others now are mostly for shunting and pulling local trains with atleast 90mph
The technical classification is A1/A1X, this Stepney is in the rebuilt version, the A1X. Fenchurch is still in the A1 form. Also this is not the A1 like Tornado.
Good to see you back Oliver, can you do more with the graphics pack and where do you get it from? See you on the stream on Saturday. BTW is that track changed? I see some changes. Also, I love the new intro if I didn't say anything about it before
I love the A1X Terrier Stepney, but too bad it was far behind because this type of tank engines are not build for speed, build for light passengers service and shunning. Great race though.
the 1st one was an Ivatt 2mt the 2nd one was a Jinty the 3rd one was a 14xx auto tank the 4th one was a Pannier and 5th one was the A1X Terrier Stepney
Stepney is an A1X Terrier If I wanted to be critical, the 14xx is a 48xx. I believe there is a difference in speed or boiler pressure or something like that. Both 14xx and 48xx were compatible with autocoaches however the 58xx ( which also looked like the 14xx and 48xx ) was the same as the 14xx but not compatible with autocoaches.
Awww, poor Stepney. Stepney didn't even had a change like.... man... poor little thing.... Lazerjet, I dare you to make another race with Stepney because.... this is just wrong and it's so heartbreaking!
no its not, you can tell because they have the DLC in the steam store. and when you look at this engine in the video, there is the British Railway logo on the side and doesn't have a tender, BUT, the 4MT has a tender and doesn't have the BR logo on the side of the engine. Just sayin'

The reason why Stepney was so far behind was that he can only go 82 mph., while the 3F Jinty, the 57xx, and the 14xx can go 90 mph., and the Class 4 can go 98 mph. That’s why Stepney was a DNF.

My favourite tank engines are the A1X Terrier, 14XX and the mighty BR Standard Class 4MT. I heard that you got a meet at Didcot on The 8th of June and I'm planning to visit there to see GWR steam action as well meeting you for the first time.
1 like is 1 speed for Stepney

Stepney will be saved from scrap.
I wish the same could’ve been said for the E2

Used to watch it when I was younger. (So much younger than today). But now I don't cos it's for small people
Manchester Ship Canal Class Tank Engine 2004 actually I believe belle is based off of the fair burn tanks
That's not Thomas. That's a 3F LMS Jinty. Thomas is a LBSC E2.
Just to say even if the E2 was here it would be like 3rd because its made for shunting and the others now are mostly for shunting and pulling local trains with atleast 90mph
How about the E3?
You had enough tracks to add three more locos to the race ( I would've chosen the E2, GWR small Prarie, and Adams Radial Tank)
Love the race LaserJet . 10/10 although you could have had the E2 as one of the races.
The 14xx was actually designed for speed, as the auto trains they pulled where also designed for speed and efficiency
I think duchess of Hamilton vs the 5700 tank engine would be a race worth trying
Stepney is a LBSC A1X terrier and the first loco is a BR Standard class 4MT Tank
yes, but at the same time its a bluebell engine
True, but they were initially for the London Brighton and South Coast Railway.

Legend has it that Stepney still hasn't reached the finish line...
Stepney is a LBSC E1 like how Thomas is a LBSC E2. I'm rooting for the Jinty!
Also for your next tank engine race, could you do an E2 vs a Jinty?
Stepney is actually an A1X Terrier
Yea stepneys complete name is LBSCR A1x No. 55 "Stepney"
He could reach 60 mph at full speed

Stepney should definitely only be used on branch lines. I would probably use it on the Isle Of Wight Heritage Railway.
15 where preseved, while 140 where scrapped. There where 155 built. They where redrawn in July 1962-July1968.Main operaters where the British Railways.
