I have wanted these for about two years and finally got them. It is exciting to see how these can be used with an embossing type tool that reveals patterns when the graphite is applied to them. The use of a clean-edged eraser is also a bright idea to erase areas of contrasting light. Thanks for the ideas!
Dear Luana, every artist has their own style and this is what Sarah chose to do. She is also demonstrating the product to show what it can do, rather than focusing on producing a great piece of art at the end of it. We are sorry you don't like this, but hope you can gain some knowledge and ideas on how to use our products. Best, Derwent
@Jacquie Tarr this lady is a professional artist. She is mark making, something all professionals do, this may even be her style, only somebody who isn't a true creative would be so ignorant to decide what people should and shouldn't create. Ignorance is bliss I suppose. Enjoy.
@luana lion arte It's an idea and she's showing how to use them .. as a fine artist I do excerisises such as this one for mark making, and if you had ever studied art then you would have too. What a stupid uneducated and ignorant comment to make. Very sad you would say such a thing and clearly you have no vision.
Loved how the scratching on the paper gave the trees texture. So realistic! Thanks for sharing!
"First of all, I'm going to show you some graphite blocks"
Love how she tries hide her giddy smile. These look like lots of fun.
Try them out!

Hi Julia, thanks for sharing your enthusiasm! We can't wait to see what you produce. Best, Derwent
I cannot find a sprinkler, did they discontinue it?
how do you preserve the drawing from excess graphite?? I just got the Inktense pencils and now that I've seen this I would love to learn. :)
Are these kind of metallic or not? Thanks for the demo ❤️
Hi, these blocks are not metallic. There could be a natural sheen from the graphite pigment, but they are not metallic. Best, Derwent
I enjoyed the demo, I have just got XL graphite and charcoal, sorry about DunceMonkey, so rude, such poor vocab.
why are her drawings so horrible? it seems like a child thing ... very sad a good brand like derwent posting videos like that about its products

exactly what i was thinking. Sloppy unconvincing work. Am sure this gorgeous product could do better with a professional artist demonstrating
I hope your artwork is nicer than your attitude.
