I'm 21 and just got my giulia 3 weeks ago. Discovered you guys for some things I needed. Glad to have this channel as a backbone to the Alfa community. Just ordered the GTAm replica badges from the website as well. Big up the Alfa community :))
I replaced my waste gate arm yesterday with the new one from Travis. It feels like I have better bottom end torque. It’s way more responsive. I love it. I still need to get tabs for the bumper but I have it drilled already😢I’m in the San Antonio area.
I don't yet have any of these issues (fingers crossed) but huge shout out to you for sharing this content and keeping the community alive. Keep it up I will keep hitting the like button.
I live in England and we have a 2019 Giulia Q2... No problems at all so far.. Best car we have owned by a Country Mile.. But glad came across this site... Have subscribed. Knowledge is power with Alfa's. Shame so few people own them.... Beautiful looking.... Who wants to run with the crowd.... In England there is a saying Everyone should try to own an Alfa.... At least once.
Wow! Luckily I don't have the bumper issue but I did get the wastegate arm issue a year ago and I just been driving it ever since like that. I tried a couple of hacks I saw to reduce the "slack" in the arm but they never worked for long. I found that driving in manual mode can really reduce the frequency the car goes into error mode once it is reset, I think because you can keep the rpms/boost up by holding gears which reduces the chance it needs to move that arm. However its not perfect obviously. Yeah I'd be all over this once ya'll get them in and put up a vid on how to replace them. I have 2017 with 100K miles and other than this stupid arm (and the plastic coolant tab failing), those the only problems the car has given me in six years...
Yea not sure why they designed it like that, super annoying. I don’t think there’s any replacements on the market as of right now, other than this one.
@luis-cipher The only problem with your theory ,and I get what you're saying is up until these came out the only option was replacing the turbo. Waaaay more expensive option ...I also followed his whole process and ALOT went into making the first one. Yes they're expensive but I'm glad they're available
Hey dudes. I have a beautiful 2019 bright red Alpha 2.0 T . The car terrifies (always worried it'll break) me but I'm in love with it. I have little experience and wanna do the work myself. Any suggestions on how to learn?
Holy crap the wastegate actuator arm is clutch!! Idk why the vendors don't sell them. I need to buy one. I upgraded to a hybrid turbo and my arm is loose!
can you talk about: bleeder valve breaking apart (very common in Alfa Romeos) & ( Head gasket replacement due to oil getting in the coolant on the reservoir ) thank you
Those are nice and much needed products. They only issue I have is, the waste gate arms, which are the same ones on Ebay and they are waaay too expensive for stainless arms that will wear out as well. I tried to send him a message about it and saying this same exact thing, but in greater detail. I know how they are made and already made some for myself last year cheap, to not sell. But as someone that has Mechanical Engineering, design and modding experience of over 40 years, these should be about $60 or less, because those arms are roughly a $4 part on the factory waste gate/turbo. There's not much work in them, even in CAD. The stainless stock is not that expensive to mill, laser or water jet cut either. Also, if they are heavier than the stock, that will slow the turbo waste gate responsiveness overall and they need to be ideally the same exact weight or lighter. Please don't be offended or angry with me, because I love your content and your channel..😁🥰 I just point things out when I catch them and I hate seeing the Alfa community getting fleeced over parts that in other vehicle communities of similar design and quality, are usually a fraction of what is being charged across the spectrum I've noticed. I've noticed a lot of Alfa mods and parts are more than they should ever be, especially carbon fiber, Turbos, exhausts, tunes of the type that they are. It's been aggravating me ever since I started repairing and modding Alfa's a couple years back, after building other Euro's since the 80's, JDM cars and domestics as well.. So, keep up the good work, get your hustle on, but pricing needs to be more competitive with other car communities tbh, because it reminds me of the modding communities back in the early 90's that took advantage of folks in small niche segments of newer modding communities like U.S. Alfa Romeo's. Love ya'll and take care. www.ebay.com/itm/145984055559?fits=Make%3AAlfa+Romeo&_nkw=alfa+roemo+wastegate&itmmeta=01J6VDGY5MA0N6V04XKEB5C829&hash=item21fd53e907:g:GNEAAOSwjRpmzqhm&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKlx%2FuuWiB80E2pJV%2BN3380WvHJGcH1zbMYXcpM0QoGJOgh5ptYxNaRkGjnDAZPV3aRSR6LjQ3ruii5fWbDxog%2BgOlWA%2Fgy9A6vcqmAywwgO2ev44AwvzAu4eWF8TuIMdGW2rKwvqO%2FHXNi--TLTFKWvMfoi2feKjWMEeSxBkOS4m22N%2FSamHGZ3umyB1v4ojWexLOapxDmvKV%2FJVMfWxoUovmQzs9d8dHAovKwMiRCwjh8Aq6FjZVHf1I58u1vYzpU%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR_Liw-22ZA
Correct the ones you see in the listing are designed by Archer Tuned. We don’t dictate the price we’re only a retailer. When this video dropped we offered 15% off which dropped the price to $143. Just from my experience as we’re developing other products. It’s not that the community is taken advantage of, it’s that this is an extremely small market. In order to develop for the market it has to be worth it for companies to invest. Higher volume in sales, means they can lower the cost. If we know a product will sit on the shelf for months on end, we spent money that will not come back for a while. I can’t speak for Travis, but I can say he’s not even in the parts manufacturing business. He’s taking time to make these, which no one else has. Until theres a better solution unfortunately that’s the standard price for the market.
@@ModdedMotors I understand. But, he's off base on the wastegate arm price, by a lot. Therefore as a long time automotive retailer for many decades now and I can tell you, he will price himself out of the market for sure on a much needed part. I've seen this mistake time and time again. In fact , I've made the same one, regardless of how good the product is.He is the one that set the price point, so I would be interested to see what made him choose the $169 price. Surely, his time and materials cost is not very much, knowing how it works and having made the same parts last year myself to use on my own cars. I appt the response and no offense intended. ❤️
@luis-ciphermstar6597 I hear you, I don’t take any offense. I appreciate the enthusiasm, we’ve done everything we can to make affordable products for the community. Unfortunately we can’t dictate his price, and until someone else creates a cheaper alternative this is our best option.
@@ModdedMotors Cool. With that said, if you could put me into direct contact with him. I have important questions about his measurements, quality of material etc, that change a lot of important stuff. What someone needs to do, is make a version of the arm, with a pressed in bearing. That will outlast the vehicle. Anyway, thanks. 😁
new veloce giulia, and with colder weather the sunroof is having a little rattling go on. have you ever dealt with or done a video on taking care of that issue? I did read on a forum to lubricate the seals and it worked for that person. your thoughts appreciated!
I Got issue on my 2019 Gulia where I get engine check light , message I get "Engine Stop Start Not Avaiable . Sometimes car goes into a lip mode with engine check light on . After a few hours or next day issue is gone . I odered a device to permantely turn off stop start . Is ths my issue >>>>????

@ModdedMotors yeah, no good choices, hence the price. But you and I know that those parts don't even cost $5.00 to make. I understand some profit, but that's a heavy profit because no one makes a better solution.
@neilchirico you don’t know the cost to make which is why you’re saying that. You don’t calculate shipping cost, packaging cost, manufacturing cost, people involved that I’ve hired to find solutions. So you might not like the price but it’s a price justified to keep up with new solutions as well. I’m not forcing anyone to buy, and if there’s a better solution by all means. Let alone we’re a small business trying to develop for the community. $5 wouldn’t even cover cost to drop them off in this economy. Let me run the business and if you see something you want than buy and support. If not , no hard feelings either.
Most big problem is cooling system, I think they made same mistake as BMW about cooling. Performance car must have best cooling system of turbo and engine . But alfa did choose worst way

Thanks for giving us (and me) the opportunity to buy the waste gate linkage at a reasonable price. I ordered one!
When will these be back in stock

Just subscribed, waiting for more on QV. I got NRING #37 and always up for more DIY info
Fantastic video! Another pro tip if anyone has to replace their turbo, it’s cheaper than stock/dealer install to upgrade to hybrid and get a tune😉

Excellent video! This is going to help a lot of people out for sure....Including me!
So glad brother 🙌🏽 all we wanna do is help!
My hats off to all of you for bringing these solutions to market…another great video 👊🏽🙏🏽 😊
Jesus you guys are life savers. Anyone knows where I can find and buy the coolant reservoirs and the hose to manifold?
Hey man. I wanted to order these bumper tabs, but it’s out of stock … when it will be available to order?

Video will be out soon! Appreciate the support
No restock 😢
Where do you find the bumper tab replacements? I looked online and they’re out of stock.
I will definately buy this today as i have the same issue with my bumper
Lots of good info in these videos!
I have a 2.2 jtdm manual.
Any ideas about what to do if I need a stronger clutch?😊
Awesome. I've been looking for wastegate parts for the 952 fora while now. I was boggled as to why can't we just fix our wastegates if we needed to?
Yea not sure why they designed it like that, super annoying. I don’t think there’s any replacements on the market as of right now, other than this one.
PLEASE RESTOCK !!

Just placed an order for the tabs. Thank you!
Hello Guys! Do you ship also to Italy? 'Cause 'till now I haven't find any bumper tab to fix mine, but this is brilliant!
Yes we do! Email us at ModdedWear@gmail.com
@@ModdedMotors Great! thank you for your answer, I'll write ASAP! 🙌🏻

Just let us know 🙌🏽
Love what you're doing!!!
About to tackle both of these! Need to order the arm lol
Huge fan of what you guys do. I was just curious when you would be having the repair tab kit back in stock.
I have the bumper issue . When back in stock ?
Should be this week or next, we had a significant amount of orders come through. We’re just trying to keep up and we’ll open them back up!
I believe that the shaft is wearing out of shape(not round anymore) and not the arm hole. They make the arm out of different material, than factory?
Really great job guys this is definitely something that I will be ordering ❤
I know you guys got the quad, but I'm still excited for the hybrid turbo for the veloce? :D
I still love my Giulia, still intend on building it just as much!
Hi, I need this bumper tab in italy! How can we do???? Pleaseeee

Hi all, can you get these in England?? as I've had that issue :(
Those 3d printed bumper tabs are cool! Wish I'd known about them before I did my repair.
I used a plastic welding iron, wire mesh and plastic welding rods for my repair.
The plastic welders kit was $22.
It'll never, ever come apart again lol!!

Do the bumper tabs work on the Stelvio? Dealer snapped mine when they replaced my radiator and I didn’t notice until months later 😅
