EASY WAY TO PREPARE DELICIOUS, RICH EGUSI/ MELON SOUP

  • Welcome to my kitchen! today's video, will guide you through a step-by-step process to prepare a mouthwatering Egusi (Melon) Soup with a combination of tender cow leg, cow skin, and juicy chicken. This rich and flavorful Nigerian delicacy is perfect for any occasion and sure to impress your family and friends. Follow along as I take you through each step of the cooking process from preparing ingredients to simmering the soup to perfection.
    Ingredients:
    - 2 cups of ground Egusi (melon seeds)
    - 1 lb of cow leg (pre-cooked)
    - 1 lb of cow skin (pre-cooked)
    - 1 lb of fresh chicken (cut into pieces)
    - Dry Fish
    - Okporoko ( Stock fish)
    - 1/4 cup of palm oil
    - 1 medium-sized onion
    - 6 habanero pepper and 2 red bay Pepper 🌶️ (Blended with the onion)
    - 1 bunch of spinach or bitter leaves (washed and chopped)
    - 1/2 cup of crayfish (ground with Opeyeh (native Maggie)
    - 1 tablespoon of Cameroon pepper 🌶️
    - Salt and seasoning cubes to taste
    Note: Serve hot with your favorite side dish, such as pounded yam, fufu, or rice.
