I've seen "Chef" Bonnie twice, and both her critics on other food weren't what people should genuinely complain about, and she'll intentionally give people low scores so that she might win. I do not know the lady who won this episode, but seeing that her first ranking was a decent one made one know that she is a nice person. @cecemimi101 yeah, but when she tried the 1st dish and then ate that goat meat- she said it was so good, but "I'll still give it a 4" Nahhhhhh. You bump it up to 4.5 bc you found and liked the goat meat.
Okay, I want to point out Im African American. I've only eaten Egusi 1 time, but Ive seem pictures and looked up tons of recipes. Bonnie's Egusi gave me a jump scare 😂🤣🤣🤣. Omg!
Looking at her egusi alone you will know it was trash. The egusi rhat looked like an egusi was the 1st girls egusi and how she cooked it even made sense
Yeah, sometimes people char the skin and scrape it leaving some cooked hair on the meat. Apparently this batch of goat was not charred or shaved well. Leaving the skin off is the easy solution.
Egusi is pumpkin seeds stew or soup. Can be compared to a spinach or green stew with scrambled eggs (looks like egusi) & fish+protein. Egusi stew/soup is common in West Africa specifically Ghana & Nigeria
If you can't smell the aroma of my egusi soup! Try this recipe..Ogiri and Uziza leaf are a fantastic combination in egusi soup, and adding stock fish and smoked fish takes it to a whole new level! The umami flavor from the ogiri, the slightly bitter taste of the Uziza leaf, and the richness from the stock fish and smoked fish create a depth of flavor that's hard to resist. I am a spice enthusiast, and I love experimenting and enjoying flavors! Thank you @Ndanitv crew for having me.. it was fun! 😃
" I love fish , but this is too fishy" ... yen yen yen , too loudmouthed and not knowing what she wants , glad hers is the worst out of all the dishes.
I'm from the US and the first time I had Egusi it blew my mind. Truly a life-changing dish! I dreamt about for years before finally acquiring all of the ingredients at international stores. I'm now proud to be able to make it myself (though it'll never be as good as when my cousin from Ghana makes it) 😊
Ghanaians make Kontomire stew it contains taro or coco yam leaves not pumpkin or spinach leave. Additionally , kontomire usually is all vegetable or light fish. It’s not the same as egusi stew which is solely Nigerian
The video was a bit difficult to follow. You guys should enlarge the picture of the chef and do better at showing when there is a switch btw the food that is being tried also lower the music 🫶🏾 great video
I promise I haven’t even watched but Nigerian woman can be very headstrong & critical. I’m an African American male. 😂 Is what it is! I think even more than Black American woman. Very proud people 🙌🏾🙌🏾😂😂😂😂
If you can't get ahold of egusi seeds, roasted pumpkin seeds are pretty similar. Likewise, ugu leaves (pumpkin leaves) can be substituted for spinach or kale. It won't be the same but it will taste pretty good regardless.
People who live in glass houses don't throw stones. Chef Bonnie needs to learn how to critise correctly. She always had this its fine but ehen this and that. Anyways, i do hope you bring on People who really know food and they'll not discredit others simply to win.
Loved the video! I’d work on the audio a little more the music was too loud especially towards the end when you were getting the other three to try the dish. The music was too distracting and loud and I really wanted to focus on what they were saying.
I like using fry method because I don't like seeing oil in my soup, makes me feel like it wasn't well cooked and also from my testing chicken is the best protein for egusi
😂😂😂😂😂I enjoyed this comedy this fish is too fishy, raw hair OMG, black egusi soup? Taste jolloffy Haba! Probably she used gino jollof mix or tasty tom jollof mix😅
Okay so please dont jump on me, im very white, but dosnt soup have broth? this looked more stew like? please if you can enlighten me i would very much appreciate it, i love to learn.

@@ndaniTV this is quite correct.
Ndani how can I register to play, I’m in my late teens
Please stop with the music its too loud it doesn't help the video
They be lying about their reviews. How can you say you like it and it's good and still rate it low? We need more honest ratings on the food!
Yes!! Seems like lowkey hating, wish it were more honest
Said she LOVED it even with more than two scoops of it smh
They’re rating out of 5 so a 4/5 is 80% which is good. Just in case you thought they were rating from 10

Ong that had me fucked up 😂 then the second one even said “I love it but I’m still giving this a four” like what? 🤦🏾♂️
@@scottwilliams9610I thought it was 4/5. Abi
That’s women for you 🧐🧐
The gasp I let out when they showed her Egusi is scary. I don’t have to say which one, you know.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. It is well.
Oh we know alright 😂
Hahahahahaha I know right, I dropped my fork.
I hadn't even got to her yet but the way she was talking about everyone else I KNEW hers would be the worst one
Like im not even nigerian and that egusi didn’t look right
Bonnie's egusi colour made my eyes pop. Like huhhhhhhhh

Whoever’s in charge of the music for this video turn it down and less distracting beats 😂 I wanna hear the women not this horrible music
It's like the last person brought ogbono soup to an egusi tasting. 😮
The music is unbearable
Very!
😂 I can barely hear what anyone is saying over the music.
Annoying
I was saying the same thing. It made me turn off the video
Frrrrrr
I love the fact that the chef that was quick to criticizing everyone's food the most had the lowest score 😂😂😂😂 and the presentation was horrible

Lovely video, Ndani ,pls reduce the volume of the music, it's drowning out the vocals.
