I just like smaller 1 and .5 oz rounds/coins. I do have a 10oz First Majestic bar. I mostly stack for if the shtf and I have to barter so smaller denominations work better for that.
Pamp 10’ounce are the best 10 ounce bar in my opinion. The only kind of silver I stack saving much more on premiums, more bang for your buck… that’s what we’re in this game for.
10 oz pressed and stacker bars form the majority of my stack. They're usually similar in size, so they stack well. RCM bars are by far the best, they're beautiful to look at and don't have milk spotting issues. 🥰
I have always liked 10 oz bars. I messed up in the beginning buying pressed bars instead of poured bars. I stopped at 100 bars. I bought any bars that were different. Stored them away. Some day I might gather them all together and take a picture or not. Just something to pass onto my family.....

I stack the 10oz bars, my favorite is the RCM followed by the special releases by the Royal Mint like Una and the Lion, The 3 Graces and the James Bond bars. But I am a collector at heart and the 1oz vintage bars are always calling my name.
I've got a couple 1 ounce rounds and bars im planning on finishing tubes for, and i don't have any 10 ounce bars (yet), but i bought a 5 ounce germania mint a couple months back on a whim because there was a promo for getting one at spot on a site i use and i ended up really liking the heft 5 ounce bars have enough to get a couple more from a different mint a little later. Definitely look nice added to the stack, so now i think my next bigger purchase might be a 10 ounce just purely to see how it'll look with my 5 and 1 ounce pieces. Cheers

When I was in New York City about a year ago, no shop was interested in buying silver bars or bullion but gold was okay. I try to buy smaller silver bars they tend to be easier to get rid of.
Yes when (if) silver goes to $100. per ounce; $1,000. would probably be out of a lot of peoples reach. One ounce or fractional like 90% junk silver would be easier to sell.

I am in the process of collecting the 10oz Germanian mint silver bars. Their dimensions as well as the boxes they are in are proving to be a good choice for storing long term.
I managed to get 500 ASE's, and a single 100oz bar, and about 50oz in 1 & 2oz rounds. After that, I started buying 10oz bars only.... They are the sweet spot in my opinion. I get one of these each month, plus 1oz of gold per year. (Not a lot, but over time, these goals will add up) For the bars, I started with no preference to which ones, but several months back, I switched to the Nadir bars. (Very plain, but I like their physical size.) I also like the Scottsdale chunky bars, and the Scottsdale stacker bars. (I started buying these about 3 months into the journey) are what I was buying when I 1st started going with 10oz bars) I will keep buying until I get to about 5k ounces I think, and then will probably not buy anymore. (Of course, who knows, 5k is halfway to 10k, so hitting that goal may make me stack even harder to try to hit that elusive 10k mark?) As for selling, my LCS pays the same, regardless of the make of the bars. (silver is silver is what he always says. He also does not charge any extra premiums for any bars he sells.) Cheers!
Nasir’s are the best, as you know not only is the serial number stamped on the bar, but a paper certificate comes with each bar. Plus, they are four 9s pure.
RCM 10oz bars are really good bars to stack. Can be kinda hard to acquire and are priced at a premium but very secure and highly sought after. Very easy to sell. Four 9s fine!
i have way more 10 oz bars than kilos. but, if kilos are on sale, i buy them. my lcs says that he’d buy as many as i had and at the same price per oz as 10 oz so i’ve got a great outlet for them. love the heft of kilos. but, 10 oz are my favorite. britannia bars are nice and ive been buying a lot lately as they’ve been on sale. i used to collect 1 oz bars but stack/collect 10 oz bars now. silvertowne, rcm, royal mint and many other popular pressed 10 oz bars are all the same size if that matters to folks. but yeah, i prefer bars over rounds but still love government backed coins

I’ve been stacking Englehard bars since 2017 and I took all of my seven Engelhard bars to my L.C.S. last week and only getting $1184. but I didn’t sell them. My L.C.S. will only give me a dollar over spot so I’m cutting back on buying silver bars especially high premiums ones.

CC: wow, great video, and I've watched a lot of them. it would seem that 5oz bars would be optimal to me, for easier separation of storage or resale, but once you hold a kilo bar, going down to anything under 10oz would seem inadequate.

I too believe the 10 oz is great size to stack...especially when it comes to low premiums...I just finished filling a Case Guard 30 caliber ammo box with (60) 10 oz bars (600 oz's) which fit perfectly...capsules and all...smiles...the Britannia's, RCM's, CTN's, and the Sunshine Minting bars are all the same size and are in capsules...the Silvertown, St Helena, JBL, and the Asahi bars are all the same size as well...but just a tad off from the latter ones I placed in capsules...as you have found out with the St Helena 10 oz bar you have compared to the RCM bar...which I left in their original plastic...because they haven't made a capsule for them yet...but those are the two sizes of 10 oz bars I have stacked...just because they are recognizable and very easy to stack being close to being of the same size uniformly...it's the OCD in me...smiles
i have nearly 200 ten ounce bars, 8 kilo bars, 3 one hundred ounce bars, 1000 one ounce rounds and many 5 ounce pony express bars, and none are high premium silver, all generic except the pony express 5 ouncers. i;m 15 ounces away from 4000 ounces, would to get 5000

I like 1 oz bars. I think THEY'LL be the most popular when AG goes to 100 bucks or maybe before. I don't purchase ANYTHING from the Royal Canadian Mint. They are certified ripoff artists. Sure they make beautiful coins...many with who knows how much metal in them AND they're just a little too cozy with the government.

That's awesome Cash and Coins. You got my favorite 10 oz bars. You should also get the Geiger 10 oz silver square Schloss Guldenhaus bar. That's a beauty. A must have in my opinion. You also need to get a St. Helena East India Company 10 oz silver bar. That's another beauty. Then you need to get a 10 oz silver Perth Mint Swan Bar and the Polish Mint 10 oz bars. Those are other beauties.
I buy almost nothing but 10oz bars these days. My favorite atm is the Germanium Mint bars. But I'll buy other types when I find 1+ pricing with low premium. I still buy a few silver coins now and then when something is on sale but I doubt I'll ever buy generic 1oz silver again.
I assume you're based in North America. If so, the RCM offerings really make more sense. As you mentioned, the obscure offerings are harder to move in the States. Even the 1 oz. coins from the Perth Mint at four 9's are frowned upon by dealers, but if you're a regular customer at your lcs, they'll usually take them on a trade. To me personally, silver serves but one purpose: Accumulate it when the gold to silver ratio is high, and then swap for gold when it dips to 65:1 or so. I have respect for silver stackers (esp. coin collectors)... I just don't bat from that side of the plate myself.
Ironically 1/10th ounce gold cost about the same as a 10 ounce silver bar, after premiums. I prefer 10 ounce bars over any other size silver bars, they’re the perfect size in my opinion
It is almost quite the same in cost as getting a 1/10 oz gold. but the upside of the 10 oz silver bars may be much higher than the 1/10 oz, depending on the timing of liquidation. Yup, SS and BA do have killer silver bar collections.
I am Constitutional/Commemoratives, with the focus on Numismatics. I only have one 10 Ounce Silver Bar. I gave a company a justifiably bad review, the company had fired the employee he was so bad, and then the Sales Manager called me and bribed me with the 10 Ounce Silver Bar to take away the Review...so I did...LOL!
The Royal mint 10 oz coins are even better, nice round coins with amazing designs, Royal arms, Tudor beasts, Myths and legends, bullion and numismatics all in one. And they have government backed 10 pounds face value. They should appeal to everyone in the spectrum, bullion investors and numismatic coin collectors.

I have a WallStreet 10 oz type 2 bar. Problem is, there is a discoloration that looks like copper on part of the face and in the rough parts of the sides. Is it possible for the impurities of .0001 in a 999 fine bar to bleed out?
I like the 10 Oz, there's a lot of interesting designs and a nice size but rarely see them at a good price in England. The Britannia bars are nice but seen so many with milk spots 😬

10 oz bars normally have too high of a premium for me. I would rather have 1oz government mint coins for the same or slightly higher. I did just get a provent medals 10 oz bar and unfortunately it wasn't in the greatest shape and they sent me the wrong capsules for them. Im probably only getting government minted 10oz bars from now on unless the premiums are super low.
Weight and liquidity of silver in large amounts is cumbersome. Timing the sale of it is tricky as well because when it’s a good time LCS’s have lines going out the door due to everyone else wanting to rid themselves of the Silver Anchor which was bought at at least 15-20% premium. Fractional gold and one ounce gold is compact and concentrated value and way more liquid I feel. Cheers C.C🥃

that is completely stupid. the price cannot go up on an item that is hard to sell, as the price of hard to sell items must come down to where it does sell. also, a price increase in silver is not an issue, it is both what you want and inevitable. re think your life.

Any hint of milk spotting with the Britannia 10oz bars ? I am very tempted by those, but Royal Mint has major milk spotting problems and I would be furious if my 10oz bar started doing spots like my only Britannia 2023 coin !!
ALL of your bars take up exactly the same amount of space. They all have the same weight and density. They may have different dimensions, but none of them take up any more space that the others. That's just science.
Why does it say the worst decision you ever made and it turns out you like them? My own opinion is I wouldn’t buy anything from Canada. Also is royal mint bars look it up Google it whatever they came out with a big problem at some of them were not real. Next you should not be banging around those gold eagles without being in plastic I know people that will give you less if they’re scratched up… and they are soft they tend to scratch very easily…. But good luck.
Awesome video and I agree about the 10 ounce bars. They always were the most cost effective small size. The think there really isn’t a hard to sell aspect to do, as they are no different usually than generic rounds. Most rounds the average stacker would struggle to identify the mint as there are so many of them. (Google helps!). But I’m glad to see the silver stacking! To me personally, silver serves but one purpose: Accumulate it when the gold to silver ratio is high, and then swap for gold when it dips to 65:1 or so. I have respect for silver stackers (esp. coin collectors)... I just don't bat from that side of the plate myself.

Ironically 1/10th ounce gold cost about the same as a 10 ounce silver bar, after premiums. I prefer 10 ounce bars over any other size silver bars, they’re the perfect size in my opinion

in cost as getting a 1/10 oz gold. but the upside of the 10 oz silver bars may be much higher than the 1/10 oz, depending on the timing of liquidation. Yup, SS and BA do have killer silver bar collections.

I gave a company a justifiably bad review, the company had fired the employee he was so bad, and then the Sales Manager called me and bribed me with the 10 Ounce Silver Bar to take away the Review...so I did...LOL!

The Royal mint 10 oz coins are even better, nice round coins with amazing designs, Royal arms, Tudor beasts, Myths and legends, bullion and numismatics all in one. And they have government backed 10 pounds face value. They should appeal to everyone in the spectrum, bullion investors and numismatic coin collectors.

I have a WallStreet 10 oz type 2 bar. Problem is, there is a discoloration that looks like copper on part of the face and in the rough parts of the sides. Is it possible for the impurities of .0001 in a 999 fine bar to bleed out?

I like the 10 Oz, there's a lot of interesting designs and a nice size but rarely see them at a good price in England. The Britannia bars are nice but seen so many with milk spots 😬

Maple Bars from Canada definitely get them. I was disappointed at first, but the serialized number and design are just great, so it's fine.
10 oz bars are perfect for stacking especially if you already have 100 to 200 1 oz coins or rounds

10 oz bars normally have too high of a premium for me. I would rather have 1oz government mint coins for the same or slightly higher. I did just get a provent medals 10 oz bar and unfortunately it wasn't in the greatest shape and they sent me the wrong capsules for them. Im probably only getting government minted 10oz bars from now on unless the premiums are super low.

Weight and liquidity of silver in large amounts is cumbersome. Timing the sale of it is tricky as well because when it’s a good time LCS’s have lines going out the door due to everyone else wanting to rid themselves of the Silver Anchor which was bought at at least 15-20% premium. Fractional gold and one ounce gold is compact and concentrated value and way more liquid I feel.

Why does it say the worst decision you ever made and it turns out you like them? My own opinion is I wouldn’t buy anything from Canada. Also is royal mint bars look it up Google it whatever they came out with a big problem at some of them were not real. Next you should not be banging around those gold eagles without being in plastic I know people that will give you less if they’re scratched up… and they are soft they tend to scratch very easily…. But good luck.

Awesome video and I agree about the 10 ounce bars. They always were the most cost effective small size. The think there really isn’t a hard to sell aspect to do, as they are no different usually than generic rounds. Most rounds the average stacker would struggle to identify the mint as there are so many of them. (Google helps!). But I’m glad to see the silver stacking!
