Hola from Mexico, I am addicted to see your pretty nice and charming attitude, 😂 even I know about wherever you talking about, I always see the full short.
Thank you Chelsea. QUESTION? If you have time, could you show how to put the stoppers on zippers by the yard? The type of stoppers that comes on a jacket or coat? If not I understand. Thank you.
This was actually very helpful. Even as long as I’ve been sewing I’ve always used individual zippers pre-sized to what I need. I did try cutting down a longer zipper that was the color I needed once and treating it like zipper by the yard. I couldn’t for the life of me get the pull back on and thought maybe there was a difference between by the yard and individual zippers. I’m happy to hear you can do it because I have a stash of zippers that probably warrants an intervention 😂 i will have to try separating and putting them back together again.
Thank you for this video it was helpful. I have one of the tools to help me and for me it just causes more frustration trying to use the tool. I kept trying to start both sides of the zipper loading at once. This makes so much more sense. Always great to see and hear how others do the same task just differently and less stressful ❤❤ Further video “how to use” I have a seam ripper that has a stiletto on the other end. I know how to use the seam ripper very well 😊 the stiletto I am still struggling on how to hold it to use it to guide my fabric or keep the seams from flipping up when sewing. I am not sure if I use the sharp pointed end or do I lay the stiletto down using us the side of it the sharp point is not going through the fabric? I am left handed so I don’t know if this is why I struggle using this tool. I just don’t want injury my fingers. Thank you for reading my suggestion on future how the heck to use that?! Have a great day! 😂❤
I love your helpful tutorials. Which is your favorite size zipper and type? I like #3 nylon for all my small wallets and clutch purses. Reason: cause they are quieter to open in church to sneak out my candy lol. For larger items that tend to be heavy I will use a #5 but it's not my favorite ever.
Hey 👋🏻 Chelsea big fan here! Could you give ideas or suggestions on fabric organization? Struggling…. Do you do it by colors, prints and solids, holidays?? Please help thank you I appreciate you 🎉
I have a zipper question. Is it possible to add a zipper pull to the bottom of the jacket so it can be used to open the jacket up at the bottom, when sitting down, while keeping the top of the jacket closed, to stay warm?
Why are fabric scissors so sacred? I understand that cutting things like paper and zippers will dull them but can't they be sharpened when they get dull?
Trust me, you don’t want to have your scissors sharpened if you can possibly avoid it by not using them for anything else but fabric. Generally, your sewing scissors are expensive and you never know how well your scissors will work after someone sharpens them. I’ve been sewing for a lot of years and before Gingher scissors there were Weiss scissors, very durable and not cheap. I treasured them, got them as a gift for my high school graduation. After many years of use, some accidentally by 3 little boys, I had them sharpened by someone who had been recommended. Needless to say, they were never the same after sharpening. You can do whatever you want with your scissors, but as a longtime sewer, I would recommend you take care of them. You are only as good as your tools. If you have multi-purpose scissors, you can get frustrated because they won’t cut your fabric cleanly. Just my opinion…
How do you know size of the zipper? I ordered some and they are a lot smaller than what you show. They would probably be good for baby clothes or a zipper on the inside of a purse.
I just bought zipper by the yard. Can't wait until I get moved and everything out in it place so I can get to sewing. Love you

I’m having a hard time finding your Amazon store. I don’t see it on your TikTok link tree.
A fork? How does that work?
