Home Free is an American country a cappella group of five vocalists, Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance. Starting as a show group, they toured around 200 shows a year across the United States. The group competed in and won the fourth season of The Sing-Off on NBC in 2013.

I think the magic of Home Free is they seem to do exactly what is needed for every song they sing. Not too much, and never too little, but always just right.

As always the guys did a fabulous version of this song. I wouldn't expect anything different from them. They are amazing! Also like the cute video that goes along with it. The ending sounded like a nod to "Kiss From A Rose" by Seal. A lot of people have covered this song. It was first done by "Lonestar" in 1999. Bonnie Tyler did a cover in 2003 & Boyz II Men in 2009.
Not only the ending, but the breakdown also has "Kiss From a Rose". Wonderful arrangement!
I've run out of words to describe the talent these gentlemen have. But I'm with you that this song will probably be used for many weddings in the future. 🎶🎵🎶 I loved the cute story line they used . It brought back so many memories and awkwardness of school dances. I'd like to recommend their song "Crazy Life " it's definitely different but very well worth your time. 🎶 Thanks for your reaction and have a great day 😀

I am firmly convinced that whatever song Home Free covers becomes "their" song. The "Home Free Spin" that you mentioned is why. I really appreciate their precision and harmonizing as well as all the fill in each song - bass, mids, and of course, Adam Rupp, the human drum kit. Home Free is amazing. I love how they interpret a song. They have so many songs to recommend and I believe their catalog is fantastic. If you didn't guess yet, yup, I'm a Home Fry.
For me if they cover a song it becomes the only version you will be listening to.
And as I am not a country music fan any country cover to me is just a Home Free song.

You are absolutely right, I just love this version of Amazed. Everything is right. The lead, the background, the harmony, the beatboxing, the emotion. ... I am a real Home Fry from the Netherlands, who can really listen to Home Free all day long. Any song, funny or serious, any genre, it doesn't matter, but it just sounds great. The harmonies, the background, figuring out which song fits who for the lead, the inhuman beatbox/vocal sounds, the bass, the highs, the runs, the sweetness, no rivalry, no Egos, the arrangments, the "simplicity" yet so strong etc makes it perfect for me.

Someone can make such good music or have a beautiful voice, but for me the most important thing is that it reaches not only the ears but also your heart and soul. And that's what Home Free music does to me. One day I hope to see them live.
Girls are so scary to talk to at that age....I remember being that awkward skinny guy in the glasses & not being able to talk to girls ! This has quickly become a Home Free favorite...so amazingly beautiful...the arrangement (by their usual arranger Darren Russ). He is one of the geniuses behind the Home Free magic spell !!!

I have loved everything that I've ever heard by Home Free. I don't think that they can do anything wrong. I'm an addicted Home Fry. I've changed my line up of songs. Now every song is a Home Free song and I don't think that will ever change.' Because everyone in the band is awesome and beyond talented. I could listen to Adam Rupp 24/7, the greatest beatboxer ever. He is so amazing. He's the hardest working member of the band. He's working while the other members are on stage singing and he's putting on a spotlight show during intermission, then he's right back on stage when intermission is over. Then there's the bass!!! Wow Tim! Then there's Chance who's voice can go low too but his voice has a soothing cool feeling to it and if it weren't for the other beautiful voices in the band I would only listen to Chance's voice because I believe I love his voice the most. But between Tim's low voice and Austin's high voice each is hard to choose because I love them both, they're awesome. And then. And then there's the silky-smooth voice of the bearded God Rob who's voice can put me to sleep and send me into the best dreams with his sugary sweet voice. All together their band is a force to be reckoned with. Each member has a voice to be reckoned with.

The Best thing about Home Free is they Always do What is best for the Song ! No ego's that get in the way of the performance. The song as we remember it is safe, they just seem to be able to find it's truth/heart and bring that out.

I will always prefer the harmonies of HF over any musical instrumentations in songs that HF covers.

I stumbled on your channel with your reaction to Home Free’s “Brothers In Arms” cover. I saw this one after and had to comment! I subscribed on the first one, though! It’s obvious that you’re a fan. I’ve been a fan since I first saw them during the original airing of their season of the Sing Off. I was hooked! I wasn’t even much into Country music (just a few certain artists from various decades). These guys are in a league all their own, and first class in my opinion! They can do it all, and do! I always appreciate reactors who are musicians, or know music, more than those who aren’t. Their arrangements are so good, and of course, their vocals are magnificent!

The guys said that when they are getting ready to do a song they take turns doing the lead and decide who they think should be the lead singer. There is no ego among them, they let the song decide who does the best. They are all excellent singers so it doesn't lessen the quality of the song no matter who leads and who does harmonies.

Every time I watch the video I think how many times I've been there.

Home Free put out a request a while back asking what songs we wanted them to do. I had always wondered why the guys had never done this so I requested this one. I was 'Amazed' that they did it, and they said the reason they did this one was because a Home Fry requested it. Is it bad to think that it was because I had asked? Who knows, may have been my request or loads of them but I am so absolutely glad that I did ask them to do this one, it is made for them.

Home Free is the best vocal band out there. Austin surpasses any male singer I have heard with his clear, beautiful voice. The rest are so good too.

Yep Yep Yep! Still "Amazed" by what they put out. For several yrs now, I've been saying that yes - HF doesn't do just covers, they do "Upgrades"; most all cases, better than the originals. That being said -- guess that if you're gonna do a cover, it should be better, right? --- And if that original didn't exist, ya wouldn't have a guide for comparison (simple). As you move along this journey, I believe you'll continue to be impressed. And YEP -- there are other groups similar to HF ... buttttttttt :) Be Safe

I should play them for my kids for sure. I haven’t because of the craziness going on in schools right now. I’m just trying to get thr band back on track like it was before covid hit. I cannot guess because I could see all of them having a music degree background. Which one does not?

I have to disagree. I would never choose their version over the original. Not a fan of this version at all.
Can you tell me why you don't like this one? I'd be interested to know what you are/aren't hearing that I don't/do. I just listened to the official Lonestar video, and truthfully, I hear very little difference between them, so I really am curious what you are hearing that I am not - my ears are old and might be missing something.
@@nancyholter5646 Honestly for me I felt it strayed a bit too much from the original. This has always been a favorite song of mine and I am not a big fan of changing the sounds of classics. I did enjoy the harmonies and don’t get me wrong, they are very talented. I always envisioned slow dancing to Amazed at my wedding and this version feels a bit too upbeat for a slow dance. When I listen to this I feel like Lonestar does the stripped down version and Home Free adds alot of bells and whistles. Just a personal preference for me I think.
