What I love about Butters’ speech to his grandma was he never once cussed her out or said one hateful word. He just hit her with straight facts, and that can cut deeper than any hurtful word imaginable
He started out the very best of the and by the covid special, he is a schmuck. Just a slimy, underhanded, quick talking, greedy, narcissist. Every single living thing in his life killed a little part of him every time they interacted. The end result was a thing that looked like butters but it was just the shell of butters. All the gooey goodness inside was dead.
Butters is and always has been my absolute favorite South Park character!!! From his innocence to singing (🎶 Lu Lu Lu I got some apples), to quotes (oh hamburgers)… everything about him makes me laugh and smile and I think he’s one of the best tv characters of all time. And even with everything ok this list. He still pushes forward and makes the best of any situation, and is always steadfast as a friend and tries to do his best. I love Butters!!
Butters' mother tried to kill her very own son, but nothing annoys me more than the father. I think he always tries to find an excuse to punish Butters especially when it's not always Butters' fault!
I think that Trey Parker and Matt Stone got a slight degree of inspiration for that scene from the Susan Smith case in South Carolina back in 1994. While Linda Stotch claimed that a Puerto Rican man stole her car and abducted Butters; Susan Smith infamously claimed that a black man stole her car and abducted her sons Michael and Alex. While it pisses me off that Susan Smith claimed that a black man was responsible for the crime; I can understand why she said that: Susan must have thought that because she's a white woman who lives in the South the police would believe her if she said a black man stole her car and abducted her kids. Though what is particularly surprising about this story is that Susan Smith wasn't sentenced to death for drowning Michael and Alex in John D. Long Lake because South Carolina is vehemently in support of the Death Penalty. Of course the motives for Susan Smith and Linda Stotch were total opposites: Susan Smith was motivated to kill her sons because she wanted to be with a man who didn't want kids and didn't want to raise Susan's kids. Linda Stotch was motivated to kill Butters and commit suicide due to losing her sanity upon finding out that Stephen has been going to gay bathhouses and movie theaters. This caused Linda to suffer a complete mental breakdown due to feeling ashamed and humiliated; even more so considering that she found out about this on the eve of her wedding anniversary.
I would think that being abandoned by his parents for 16 years which led to him changing into Victor Chaos would be the worst thing, or second to getting nearly killed by his mother.
I hate Butters' grandma,even his parents are the worst. I mean his mom literally tried 2 get rid of Butters by moving the car in the lake,not even helping or telling him 2 get out of the car. She even killed herself and was strucked with sadness, confessing 2 her husband that she killed Butters and was gonna hang herself 4 her actions. Plus,his parents even sold their son 2 Paris Hilton and she'll pay the Stochs thousands of dollars as if Butters was a product. Cartman is absolutely the worst; he trapped Butters in a Bomb Shelter just go 2 Kyle's birthday because it takes place in his favorite restaurant; Casa Bonita The Stochs should definitely be arrested due to their actions

We can never forget these other bad things that happened to him like everything he had to bare in the St. Patrick's Special when Butters ends up in jail, Assaulted by his attorney who abandoned him, Tased and forced to do community service over following the St. Patrick's Code: Pinch or Be Pinched, Becoming Victor Chaos after realizing noone ever loved him and his parents forgot he ever existed, Having to hide the fact he let Eric upload a video of Laura's pubes being revealed on social media and was willing to take the punishment, Losing his GF because of Gerald's doing, Getting screwed out of his money because Cartman couldn't handle doing his job and getting the credit taken when he makes the place successful, Being kidnapped by locals after being mistaken for a squirrel, Not being able to go to Build-A-Bear because of the pandemic and Being forced to have a gun in his mouth
honestly , I feel so bad for butters like that boy has so much childhood trauma, especially where he went to that mental facility because Eric thought he was a ghost and everything that episode really my broke my heart
I can't believe that in the "Ninja star" segment you skipped over the additional trauma he faced after he's repeatedly peed on by the (other) dogs in the shelter.
Considering what Eric Cartman did to his half-brother's parents, it's NOT that surprising there are absolutely no consequences for anything people do to Butters. I mean he literally confessed to actual double murder. Zero consequences.

The way I was raised is that there is no circumstance imaginable that justifies putting your hands on a woman or child. If a woman is hitting you, block the hits. So knowing how quick Butters’s parents are to viciously beat him makes me sick. I know it’s part of the show and that’s kind of the joke involved, but it doesn’t make it ok!
While we do know that Butters has the dark side with Professor Chaos, I truly am impressed that after everything he’s been through he hasn’t murdered his parents, grandma, or the main boys (Kenny excluded). You would think Eric Cartman would be the first on his list to be axed off.

Butters has a severe almond allergy? Aw poor kid. I don’t have any food allergies myself, mild or severe, but my older sister Ashley is deathly allergic to peanuts. She always has an epipen on her just in case. Thank goodness she’s never had to actually use it though as she’s very careful with what she eats.
