They actually never predicted anything. They just put news that wasn't exactly mainstream yet in their episodes which makes it seem like they predicted things.
but 15 years later, over half their time on the air, they predicted people getting pissed off over a flag... that people have been getting pissed off about pretty much from it's inception. explain that one...
About half of these are them catching on to trends a bit earlier than most. The Freemium games episode is one of the finest examples. There are some predictions that are just nuts, like Jared Fogle, Osama bin Laden, and Kanye West (the incident where he interrupted Taylor Swift happened really soon after the fish sticks episode).
@@I_AM_BAYTOR They never quite acknowledged that trans people do exist, and aren’t just going around saying they’re something else on a whim. They’ve been allies to the gay community and have put down one of strangest criticisms of trans people, but still. They’re also about as conflicted on Caitlyn Jenner as I am.
Sarcastiball was dead on too. Even this year the kick off is different for safety reasons and a certain tackle is no illegal. I actually look forward to both rules being acclimated. I love South Park, so witty and spot on. 🥰
99% of divorce cases are stuffed with false allegations. It's the main tool used by women to get alimony, full custody, and child support. It's so common that courts are _finally_ starting to side with men when women use these tactics.
I don’t like Kanye, but his _South Park_ self handled the joke theft prediction perfectly. If you ever find yourself faced with plagiarism accusations, there’s one thing you gotta ask yourself: “Was it worth it?” Short answer: It’s never worth it.
The funny thing is that many of these were supposed to be satirical about how overly sensitive people can be. The ironic part is that people don't see that.
You guys miss southpark predicting the woke time we have now. Like on the episode where Kyle identify as a black tall teenager and his dad identify as a dolphin and his teacher identify as a woman
TBF with free to play games I think you can play them as a free to play easily , just if you do have a disposable income you can potentially run into the issue of "I want more" but that is kind of a thing even in tcg's had a guy at my locals for vanguard who would pretty much spend 500$+ on a new deck each set just because he wanted to be super meta , it didn't care if he even liked the deck or not he'd just keep buying the new decks just because yugioh also can fall in that same situation but instead of 500+ it could be 1000+ easily , im the kind of person that just built what I liked and stuck with it even if something better came out and while i'd like to play some of these meta decks ( a few I actually like ) I don't really have much of a disposable income
It's easy to predict social trends with at least 75% accuracy. You look at the world today and think "what would happen if a public consisting of sheeplike idiots ruled by crooks took this to absurd levels?" The answer to that question is a pretty good indicator of the future.
I wouldn’t really say it’s predictions because the way they made their episodes, it had to do with the current events of that week or months. They simply were mocking what was going on in current events at the time.
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! I wonder if the reality is that song called "One of Us".. Meaning it's not the TV show writers foreseeing the future, but God in a human form watching those shows to turn them into reality. 🤣
It's not technically a prediction when the source is a tool of discourse shaping. They say so it could happen, not because it would've happened anyway.
Well, they definitely got amazon correct!!! I LOVE SP!!! By the way, I love how they used Carlitos Way with that idiot Carlos whatever; absolutely classic !
I know this may seem confusing to foreign and domestic viewers, but marijuana is still illegal in the United States. Several states have been it legal, and the federal government decided it’s not worth the hassle for smaller amounts. Having said that, it’s still 100% illegal and a schedule 1 controlled substance, which is just obscene (especially when you see what’s in schedule 2 and below).
These aren’t predictions, these are astute satirical observations of what’s going on. Like the Medicinal Fried Chicken episode…medicinal marijuana was legalized in California (where SP is created) in 1996, and in Colorado (where SP takes place) in 2000. This episode was made in 2010 right when dispensaries were booming and anybody could get a referral/card. It didn’t predict it, it satirized the growing ubiquity of it AS it was happening.
to be fair the episodes are made within 6 days so predictions are a bit easier, its not as impressive as the simpsons getting stuff right from like 15 or so years ago
On clip 22: (picture of PC Principal is shown) WANTED: This criminal is responsible for mass murder in several states. Call the local authorities if you see him!
This list must have been written by somebody who failed history, and has no understanding of the era when these episodes were released. Many of these "predictions" were clearly addressing issues of their time, and sometimes those issues grew larger to the point where WatchMojo apparently caught on to their existence. Others, like "predicting" the death of the #1 enemy of the largest military in the world, or "predicting" that a leading candidate from one of the two major parties might become president, are just pretty damn obvious.
What about South Park predictions that we would like to come true. As the the episode of Palestine and Israel were at war and at the end, they have a truce and reunited as the 1 state.

12:41 sounds like somebody who has made a few false accusations.. just sayin
Leave Britney Spears, Mel Gibson and Miley Cyrus alone, WatchMojo. Stop reliving their dark pasts. Move on please. Let them be.
Wow
Correct me if i m wrong but i do believe SP gave the juno exacctress a pass no😮?
Leave Donald alone!!!
They make the episodes in 6 days, pay attention to the world and there’s ur South Park episode
Simpsons and South Park predicting the future with ease
Acc not
Yeah they both predicted Mel Gibson's insanity.
and Family Guy, they start predicting the futures
SIMPSONS ALREADY DID IT!
They actually never predicted anything. They just put news that wasn't exactly mainstream yet in their episodes which makes it seem like they predicted things.
The world order watches Southpark for steps on how to run society
You might be right lol
Sorry most courtires in this world hate America due to thier politics and politicationz
So much of these aren't predictions but rather commentary, which is exactly what South Park aims for.
but 15 years later, over half their time on the air, they predicted people getting pissed off over a flag... that people have been getting pissed off about pretty much from it's inception. explain that one...
I love how they get the point of most of these episodes wrong.
4:06 Make Love, Not Warcraft was my favorite South Park episode and still rewatching it.
same here
About half of these are them catching on to trends a bit earlier than most. The Freemium games episode is one of the finest examples. There are some predictions that are just nuts, like Jared Fogle, Osama bin Laden, and Kanye West (the incident where he interrupted Taylor Swift happened really soon after the fish sticks episode).
I'd say most
Exactly.
Don't forget the crazy trans stuff.
Don't forget the ladyboy stuff.
@@I_AM_BAYTOR They never quite acknowledged that trans people do exist, and aren’t just going around saying they’re something else on a whim. Listening to WatchMojo miss the point on so many south park comentaries should be a video on its own haha
Sarcastiball was dead on too. Even this year the kick off is different for safety reasons and a certain tackle is no illegal. I actually look forward to both rules being acclimated. I love South Park, so witty and spot on. 🥰
*now
Football has turned into a fairy game.
@@I_AM_BAYTOR That and basketball!
I like how they talk about the intolerance episode but skip over the actual message of the show...
Lol exactly 🙄 .. gotta stay woke
The first "prediction " was right after Colorado made medical weed legal.
I think Watch Mojo has selective amnesia.
Kinda scary when a satirical show predicts the future better than anybody else lol
Not really...just imagine the dumbest outcome possible and WAHLA!!
you have predicted the future!!
Both Simpsons and South Park have Video games on Sega and Playstation
and N64
"false allegations are extremely rare"?
No. They're uncommon, not extremely rare.
You missed a lot. You were just playing it safe.
Satan's planning his party and not trying to copy P Diddy
The funny thing is that many of these were supposed to be satirical about how overly sensitive people can be. The ironic part is that people don't see that.
Cartoons: Predicting the future for decades.
I played phone destroyer. I never spent a dime. It was a fun game. I played it, beat it and moved on. That's what you want from a game.
~ 26:22 ~ Check out Barron's eyeroll far right. 🙄😂
I Was Wondering What Was Wrong With Him 😳🤣
Recontextualizing? It’s called lying.
I remember the Bin Laden one and saying at the time 'South Park just did this!'
The tolerance one makes me laugh. Teachers are closer to Garrison now too.
South Park is just so ahead of it’s time, bound to predict the future lol
Just gotta wait for the time travelers to come back and stealarejobs so they can become millionaire and be able to afford their rent
False allegations are not extremely rare
The South Park and Simpsons crew are time travels predicted about our world today, same for Jamaqui virtual insanity
If only Matt and Trey could predict winning lottery numbers 😂
they kinda did- you know their net worth?
13:28 the 2018 Winter Olympics were held in Pyongchang, not Seoul.
Fun fact:
I went to a Cincinnati Reds game back in like 06 - 07 and the opening pitch was thrown by Jared Fogel.
"The Tale Of Scrotie McBoogerballs" actually has a similar plot to a movie that came out in 2023 called "American Fiction."
Medicinal Fried Chicken is one of my favorite episodes!
Covid prediction. You guys missed it.
You guys miss southpark predicting the woke time we have now. Like on the episode where Kyle identify as a black tall teenager and his dad identify as a dolphin and his teacher identify as a woman
You really just republished a previous list and added a few points to it
Which itself was a previous list with a few points added. Very creative, guys
Thanks for interesting and valuable video as always 😂😂😂
Love South Park 😅
The columbus episode was about Justin Trudeau using black face multiple times..
these aren't predictions, they're reactions. Do you even watch the show? Lazy list
As a native American I find it more offensive changing the name of the redskins just saying
My ex wife is native American. I asked her if she gets mad when we go out to dinner and get asked “ Do you have reservations?” 😂

Many of Us American Indians were Actually Upset by the Name Change of the Washington Redskins Football Team.

had a guy at my locals for vanguard who would pretty much spend 500$+ on a new deck each set just because he wanted to be super meta , it didn't care if he even liked the deck or not he'd just keep buying the new decks just because
yugioh also can fall in that same situation but instead of 500+ it could be 1000+ easily , im the kind of person that just built what I liked and stuck with it even if something better came out and while i'd like to play some of these meta decks ( a few I actually like ) I don't really have much of a disposable income
Do a video of Trey Parker and Matt stone unsold pilots
It's easy to predict social trends with at least 75% accuracy. You look at the world today and think "what would happen if a public consisting of sheeplike idiots ruled by crooks took this to absurd levels?"
The answer to that question is a pretty good indicator of the future.
There's also the time SP predicted the whole trans-in-sport thing.
Thanks WM.C! 👌
Awesome-O is just mocking how bad they think Adam Sandler movies are. Nothing to do with AI or the future.
I swear some people who produce South Park episodes can see the future
I wouldn’t really say it’s predictions because the way they made their episodes, it had to do with the current events of that week or months. They simply were mocking what was going on in current events at the time.
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! I wonder if the reality is that song called "One of Us".. Meaning it's not the TV show writers foreseeing the future, but God in a human form watching those shows to turn them into reality. 🤣
One of Us?
The Hello Kitty Island Adventure Prediction was insane!
I really want South Park predicted flying cars in future
False allegations aren't as rare as you think they are.
I see you conveniently left out the Heather Swanson episode. Cowards.
Gotta stay woke🤢
Don't forget , Awesomo accurately predicted The New Orleans Saints winning the Superbowl. Nobody mentions that
They predicted the trump presidency, but the Simpsons did it first.
Simpsons did it. 😂😂😂
That Panda episode was friggin hilarious
Matt and Trey are prophets.
The best part about the Mars/ musk episode is Elon voiced himself
He didnt voice himself in the Handicar episode tho
It cracks me up how casually Rebecca mentions removing blood stains people get in their pants after eating chipotle 😂
SP missed the boat predicting Amazon drone deliveries
DAYTUKKERJERBS!!! Betting that one still comes true about the "Goddamn GOOBACKS!"
The HumanCentiPad having to do with Apple products
Commentator:"False sex allegstions are rare" get real, 😂😂 funniest, uneducated opinion in this vid. 😅
South Park, Family Guy, The Simpsons: The Clairvoyant Trilogy.
South Park always funny 😂
Most of the predictions had already started as a trend back then when the episodes were made, so I's not quite mind-blowing.
The one prediction I wish would come true: Bill Gates in the movie.
I miss the days when marijuana was entirely illegal. I didn't have to deal with that stench everywhere I went before
Aww you poor thing
huh, I thought #16 was pertaining to drone usage in warfare (e.g. 2022 Ukraine Invasion & 2021 Myanmar Civil War/Spring Revolution)
It's not technically a prediction when the source is a tool of discourse shaping. They say so it could happen, not because it would've happened anyway.
Simpsons did it 😂
Turd Sandwich vs Giant Douche. Use a Giant Douche or eat a Turd Sandwich. See which one sends you to the hospital.
Well, they definitely got amazon correct!!! I LOVE SP!!!
By the way, I love how they used Carlitos Way with that idiot Carlos whatever; absolutely classic !
South Park was ahead of its time. 🎉

MY COUSIN USED TO BE ON THE GUARDIANS!!! LIKE ACTUALLY GUYS
The only one they got wrong was the console wars outcome
12:39 "false allegations are extremely rare" my ass!
No, no we do not have to accept people for who they are. We are " learning" that now.
On clip 22:
(picture of PC Principal is shown)
WANTED: This criminal is responsible for mass murder in several states. Call the local authorities if you see him!
"come out of the closet, tom"- still waiting... (these don't have the same 'on point' element of the Simpsons' predictions)
Move Over Simpsons You're Not The Only One With This Ability.
This was fast
12:45 -- WRONG. They only seem rare because statistics never include the unreported cases...and its this kind of 'tude that causes it!

South Park making a freemium game after all that crap they (rightfully) gave to the whole industry is so sad.
The Facebook episode came true 😂😂
19:02 never do a cruise
most of these are stretches
Hindsight the Series in a nutshell.
hello kitty island adventures actually exists now? I wanna play it!
3:05: Wait. _Wasn't_ the first time? I thought you said these were predictions...
Nearly everyone of these are events that happened and SP made the episode. Then those events continued for a while after.
What about South Park predictions that we would like to come true. As the the episode of Palestine and Israel were at war and at the end, they have a truce and reunited as the 1 state.
India can't claim it is there culture
