He can be kind from time to time whenever he feels something bad might happen without them
Even if Cartman and Kyle may have beef with one another, at least Cartman does the best for Kyle when he’s at the edge of his life if that makes sense

There was also the time when Ike was being haunted by dead celebrities, and Cartman willingly helped Kyle without expecting anything in return. Plus, he didn't even insult Kyle for being a Jew, once.
Seeing Cartman give Kyle words of encouragement while they were playing World of Warcraft was actually really sweet in my opinion

They are friends after all.... they care about each.
In some of the episodes when he is seen playing video games, it’s actually kind of nice to see him be friendly with Stan, Kenny and even (rarely) Kyle.
Kenny is his best friend so they always get along

Cartman performing CPR is such a sweet thing he’s done. And yes, kids really can learn CPR. It’s an easy thing for anyone to learn, not just doctors, and even kids can learn it

Moments like these remind me that as outrageous as cartman is most of the time, he is still a human being who is capable of goodness, just like the rest of us.

Cool video! Honestly though I feel with a list like this, you need to take intent in, as Cartman is more often than not, super selfish. When he saved Ike from Stevenson, it was because Stevenson didn’t have a hall pass, not because he cared about Ike and Kyle. Meanwhile, at least with the pangolin, he did it because he realized how much pain he was causing Stan.

I think Cartman is more redeemable than pretty much every character of Family Guy.
Yeah Sometimes He is a Complete Jerk and Psychopath Doing Horrible Horrible Things To Everybody But Sometimes He Can Be Redeemed Himself,
Another small one I wanted to point out is from the episode "You Have 0 Friends." Earlier, Cartman was poking fun of Kyle for losing all of his friends due to friending Kiff but, later in the episode, Cartman actually goes out his way to help set up Kyle with someone that has the same likes as him and the kid is even Jewish as well. It's small but episodes where Cartman is genuinely helpful to Kyle is super rare lol

I personally think every time Cartman did something nice, and yet, he still also did something terrible in the process, Cartman’s kind acts were truly genuine, but obviously Cartman being Cartman, he had to throw his own touch into it
Indeed Cartman CAN be nice, it's just infrequent that it occurs, like here. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Also, in 'the wacky molestation adventure', he helped Kyle be able to go to the Raging Pussies concert after Gerald and Sheila told him no, by teaching the trick to him which he's played on his mum's ex-boyfriend to get him taken away.
Nice to see Cartman being nice to someone else. For a change :) Even motives are weird sometimes. Nice list :)
Cartman only saves Kyle in Smug Alert because Cartman needs Kyle to rip on him.
But not only did Cartman saved Kyle regardless, he saved Kyle's family.

To be fair his mom is to blame for a lot since he didn't have a dad and she made excuses for his behavior and I felt so bad since he gave up his family to make everyone else's life's better and seeing his future turn out so bad broke me a little since no one will ever know what he gave up

The number 1 just breaks my heart.
Half the time, these instances of Cartman being nice was so he could get what he wanted in the long run. For example, at 1:28 when he saved Kyle after the latter flatlined, he did it only so he wouldn’t be skipped out on a bet. So it was a win-lose when you think about it

You guys should do a top 10 video of all the "bad guy" characters in tv shows doing something good. Like how on How I Met Your Mother when Barney tackled Ted so that Robin could win that race. Or on the Big Bang Theory when Sheldon comforted Howard after his mother died.
