Just checked the expedition compatability patch for efp 3.0 it's been archived due to instability so it probably shouldn't be used
Ah that's a bummer. There's so many moving parts involved I'm sure it's a nightmare to make both work but it's sad, would have been amazing!

Ive installled it and 30 hours in and no crashes. I think its just an outdated version od reshade, no biggie.

Do a fresh install of Anomaly then extract this in your game folder, done.
For EFP its not that easy, well its still very easy the devs have made a great tutorial on how to install everything. Just head up to the discord, everything is there.

Expedition is the best visual mod out there but you need to tweak Reshade to make it look good in all situations. Eye edaptation, bloom, and such effects are definitely overblown and need to be disabled or lowered
'Eye adaptation' is the most realistic FX. It is a must! But has to be setup and tweaked very precisely.
Eye adaptation is what I struggle with the most, because the day looks gorgeous but the nights look horrible with it on. If anybody managed to figure out the line line and would be willing to share their copy of the reshade files that’d be appreciated
how do you tweak reshade?

So kurze Frage ich hab es mir vor paar Tagen auch geholt aber spawne immer in den great swamps ist das ein Problem was nur ich habe oder hast du es auch und außerdem sieht dein shader farbig und realistisch aus und wenn ja kannst du mir die Einstellung dafür geben

The modder loves XBox 360 games from 2004, apparently. That’s an egregious amount of bloom.
Works great, but do you know if there are any changes required to Parallax or Gloss Factor, i.e. recommended grapics settings. I have an a small issue with certain textures, i.e. texture looking lower than it should, e.g. leaves look much higher in Z height compared to the tarmac texture.

Hey cheeki, so the expedition is compatible with the stand alone EFP 3.0 download from mr Minotaurs discord. Not with the re-pack 4 part download on 4k HDR channel?
I started using both the Mod Pack and the Visual Overhaul and its honestly the best combination of mods for Anomaly crammed into one simple install method without the need of a mod menu or any mod software to "make things easy". I would suggest changing the FOV distances for the focal point/distance blur bc its really not needed and makes the frames drop at times it shouldnt. Tweak the ReShade values to your pref and its a perfect game after that! Id even say this feels and looks like Tarkov if it were made with older specs once you have your Reshade setup proper.

Does this fix or reduce the issue of shadows at the edge of the screen that follow your characters view?
It looks awesome. For me though, the Piknik reshade is the best.
I hear people saying you need to start fresh when running expedition, but is that also the case if you're just using the graphical overhaul? If i'm just using different graphics settings i don't see why i'd need to start a new save and a fresh install? but maybe there is a good reason

try cranking up the resolution and using dslr in the nvidea graphics window. it is reallt taxing in performance but it looks way way better in my opinion

what are basic light settings you used in video?
Recomend to add the "Enhanced Shaders and PBR" and "SSR mod" to it and disable Reshade, if you want a more natural look
They're both already included in Expedition. And, of course, you don't need to disable Reshade altogether, you can adjust it to preference (I Use midtone highlights, Light DoF and such)

Well i want to know one thing. Like the hd skin addon does expedition also increases system requirements of the game? I installed it just yesterday and my sweet 60-40 fps rate crashed right beside stingray 5, and my gpu literally turned into boiler anomaly.
Any solution to this?
Expedition is not that bad ahahh, I get decent perf with a potato computer.
HD skin addon is known to have a huge impact on performance, you can find a "lite version" on moddb thats apparently much better! (havn't tested it myself yet).
I have many mods installed on my game(EFT mods and BAS) will this mod force me create a new game and mods can be crashed with each other? I don't want use EFP it is too difficult with its stamina problem
Expeditions fine mod but I like EFP due to its great compatibility with MO2. I hope it changes as it does look great.
I thought efp was a map pack and not a graphical update?

The visuals are breathtaking, are you seriously playing with gtx 1060? I had that GPU too (now I have 1660 TI) stalker anomaly was kinda lagging, with this modpack I doubt I´ll have stable 60 fps with 1060
I run a 2070 super but the lag spikes are real.. is there a solution?

They have now expedition 2.0 which i don't think look as good but definitely is now way easier to install

Its a solid mod. The only weird part is the UI. It doesnt really have much of a UI and as far as I can tell there is no way to check ammo or health in expedition 2.0 without installing an addon that restores the default UI. Which is a bit of a hassle but oh well.
Yeah, it has immersive hud with the pack. You have to get something like groks health system redux.
ummm i know im late to comment but i have a problem with this mod i mean its really BIG problem...
when i launched the game i saw some diffrence in the sky's color and texture but there was no diffrence in graphics just saturation has been changed.. so i gone to other videos and reddit to see good settings for graphics with this mod and it was said to use volumetric light (maybe i written it wrong) then i restarted the game to apply the graphics and when i got into the game again... it was completely pitch black.. the only thing i was available to see was sky and fire animation (there was literally no shine effect. even my flashlight had no light. it was complete blackness. so i turned space thing light back amd nothing changed.. turned it to default and nothing changed... i disabled the graphic mod then i launched the game but it doesnt open the game.. im so confused i cant play anymore i need HELP so someone help me in this situation.. (i just learned about the mod installing 1 or 2 hour ago in your tutorial and i saw 20 top add ons you said i downloaded everyone of them and before changing graphics everything was fine only hunger and thirst bar didnt work for me idk why... and now i cant play.)

I only get about 40 to 60fps with the EFP mod pack so not sure I can add this! I have a 3070 btw, shouldn't I be getting more fps?
Same here, 40-60fps on EFP, exactly the same with Expedition so in terms of optimization at least on my rig they perform the same.. Vanilla Anomaly is more 70+fps tho!

I have a 2070 with an i78700k processor and 32gb ram. What are your other specs? I get 95-100fps with efp 3.0. There is a texture pack for efp 3.0 that is better optimized than the textures that come default with efp. Also, make sure you use task manager or Process Lasso to utilize all cores for the directx.exe

@@Wavingseeker Having the game installed on a SSD, using optimized texture packs. That's the two big ones on top of my head!
So do you use the Reshade version or the graphical version?, I noticed the download comes with both. Does one look better than the other or are they just different ways of installing the same thing?. I noticed the graphics version is a larger folder.
so what is the system requirements for this mod as i have an gt 710 and 8gb ram and intel celeron g1610 idk if this mod gonna work on my pc it feels like need a better graphics card idk i just need someone to tell if i can atleast run this 30 fps or something

What are your pc specs and what is your average FPS? Many of us are using potato gpus since the gpu prices went crazy
Honestly I'm borderline potato with a 6+ years old PC.
i7 5500k - 8gb RAM - GTX 1060. Not great, not terrible.
I average 60fps, 35-40 in poorly optimized areas.

I have an issue, the mod itself does not work, i've tried new games, old saves, everything, yet it does not work.
But does it have a mode that lets you play as a fleshpig?
Does this mod highly affects fps?
This needs a GPU with lots of ram, a 4gb GPU won't do in this case, especially if you like playing with a more populated zone. 8GB+ is probably the minimum for solid gameplay experience with minimal crashes.
Does not work with EFP. Shader failed. The Expedition then Fix applied. Not working...

Yeah its an issue in pretty much every Stalker game. GAMMA fixes this nicely, but I'm not sure which mod its using to achieve that

Is expedition better than gamma? Talking of immersion and graphics. (I'm not asking for a technical pov on optimization or anything, just from the point of view of anyone, which one looks the best?)
Expedition looks better, GAMMA has widely more content / is much more fun to play. I'm only talking for myself here and opinions may vary.

I'm downloading Expedition 2.2.1 as I'm writing this but do I have to download EFP too to get those weapons? I love Tarkov and I would really appreciate that kind of hardcore experience.
@@alessandromassi3659 GAMMA / EFP are huge modpacks build on top of Stalker Anomaly. You can change stuff but it's very complicated and create a lot of conflicts as there's thousand of moving parts.
You'll need to be very experienced in Stalker modding to achieve this, even I won't even touch it.
Better see EFP / GAMMA / Expedition as three different experiences you can get out of the game, and try them separately. They're all great.
What are your graphics settings in cfg?

Expedition is like EFP exept that EFP has Tarkov guns and items so is too fan-made, I'm making videos with EXP and I'm very proud of the dev.

Will this mod ultimately destroy my graphics card, even more than Escape From Pripyat?
I have pretty much the same performances as EFP. Worse than vanilla Anomaly but for how good the game looks I would have expected much worse tbh :)
On efp I get around 95-100fps stable, with Expedition I run about 85-90, so about 10fps less. But that's just me
Anyone knows how to remove wet surfaces, because even without a lover everything looks wet, even the characters that are indoors XD

He changed entirely some of the key main mechanics of Anomaly, as such as Artifacts, not being able to buy guns/armors from traders so ur forced to repair.. etc
Groks is literally updating almost every day, so I really think its worth to bring it to this channel!

This no longer works properly. I spent about 2 hours trying to get the filter menu to pop up with the "HOME" key and it very simply does not work. I've read about a slew of other game ending bugs so do look into it beyond this video if you plan on using this modpack.

@@CheekiBreekiTv j'ai essayé et non, ça n'est pas possible. En tout cas je n'y suis pas arrivé. En revanche j'ai joué à expedition et je n'ai pas aimé du tout les graphismes. Je préfère largement anomaly en vanilla.

@@CheekiBreekiTv I like Tarkov and all but I kinda like my games feeling distinct from one another..EFP sorta makes Anomaly too "samey" whereas Expedition maintains the original Stalker feel while providing updated visuals and some subtle but nice gameplay changes. just my $0.02.

Je vien de l'installer, mais j'ai du mal le faire. J'aimerais y jouer avec mes sauvegardes et le patch de la langue FR pour que je puisse comprendre le jeu plus facilement et ne pas tout recommencer, mais a la place j'ai créer un nouveau dossier et mit tout directement du modpack a mon nouveau dossier, j'ai meme tenter de copier collez mes saves et le patch fr mais sa ne marche pas, le jeu crash quand j'essaye de lancer la partie avec mes saves. Je cherche a avoir des réponses parce que je ne comprend rien et je suis vraiment mauvais pour installez des mods aussi compliquer, c'est pour sa que j'essaye de trouver des videos fr mais il n'y a personne qui a fait un tuto récemment, je veut savoir si c'est possible d'avoir se modpack avec ma save ou pas, si quelqu'un passe par la et peut m'aider sa serais vraiment cool merci.
Ca dépend d'ou ta save original viens, mais généralement tout gros modpack nécessite une nouvelle partie vu que des tonnes de mécaniques changent

Expedition a deux versions: uniquement la partie amélioration graphique (que tu viens rajouter sur ton Anomaly de base, et la il ne devrait pas avoir de problème pour utiliser tes saves précédentes)
Et la version "modapack complet", qui rajoute pas mal de choses en terme de gameplay (et est plus intéressante à mon avis) mais pour le coup tes sauvegardes ne seront pas compatibles.
Les deux versions sont dispo sur la page moddb. Je crois pas qu'il y ai de traduction en FR pour expedition à ce jour (mais si tu utilises uniquement la partie graphique, il existe une trad FR pour Anomaly donc je suppose que ça peut marcher).

Anomaly sans hésiter. C'est la "base" et tous les gros mods sont basés dessus de toute façon. Commence par Anomaly, modifie le même un peu à ta sauce avec différents addons si tu veux... c'est déjà un bon début
Eh... No It's eye searing sometimes and unstable as hell. Gamms's default visual settings is way better and you can still tweak the gameplay to suit your needs
i think expedition is broken, because no matter what i do it doesnt work. reinstalled the game multiple times too

There's no such thing as excessive bloom.
Not sure if something is wrong with my PC, but in your comparison at 0:15, the lower part of the screen is simply black and I cannot see anything. That seems **very** unrealistic for a sunny day.
Yep, that's why I hate most reshade mods. They make dark areas too dark and add too much bloom.

Yep 28-30fps without any graphics mod. Even basic anomoly stutters. Keep in mind, I only play at max settings.

I absolutely loved leveling up / gearing up and discovering the world, but to be fair there's not much to do when you reach high level. I haven't played in a while so maybe things have changed?
