Stalker Anomaly is FINALLY Getting NEW MAPS and Quests

- Over the years I've always had a love-hate relationship with Stalker Anomaly for many reasons but one of the biggest being its lack of any real new levels aside from the Meadows (in fact one of my oldest videos on the channel is me exploring that one) as well as the lack of scripted quests...
Now we have Anomaly Anthology. The Eastern Stalker mod that adds a whole lot of content from new maps to scripted quests to Stalker Anomaly but that isn't all...there is now a separate addon called New Levels available on Mod DB!
Really excited to see where this will go in the future.

They should just port the Oblivion Lost maps to Anomaly. The Oblivon Lost version of Lake Yantar is amazing.
Dark valley and Garbage are good maps too

Lost alpha have best stalker maps. Huge, detailed, full of interesting places
These are so exciting! I can't wait to see more maps that make sense and fit seamlessly into Anomaly. More than anything, I'm excited to see new stories and questlines. I've been practically chomping at the bit for new quest content ever since I finished SOC and COP!

I mean, there are a ton of maps for Project Zomboid, and there are mods that dont add anything, but rather are used to patch and stitch other maps together. Hopefully we start seeing some of that here in Anomaly, because it's such a great base game that just needs more content that lends itself to the way we love playing the game already. Flavor, worldbuilding, and environments is all this game needs. Honestly, I always figured the tools would be complicated for something like Anomaly, so I've never even attempted to make anything for it due to me being a creative and not a programmer, but I would love to make quests and maps for Anomaly.
Quests would be fantastic.
to take full advantage of Anomaly you need to role play. for me, this is the best way to take advantage of the sandbox part of anomaly / GAMMA and extend the life of these mods by hundreds of hours

oh finally. I get it that Anomaly tries to be stable and maintain the core and it's base to the finest.... but it really needs to implement some more things
you can visit all the maps just turn on accessible zone when starting a new game
Anthology apparently has loads of bugs which got fixed in 1.1, but that update has not beef translated yet.
Yeah the lack of main story quests in Anomaly is its weak point. Rectify that along with new levels (particularly lab/underground levels (let's face it, these are the levels that we all love) and it would be a massive improvement.

Not sure if they work with EFP. Anthology won't as it's a while separate thing.
The New Levels Addon might I don't know though. They just added another level yesterday which I did a video on.
They're gonna keep adding more so I would wait until they are done as each new level requires a new save.

Please tell me where I can find and get the map editor/level editor for stalker anomaly, I would love to create maps for this one just as a side project.
No clue. These maps just came from ModDB. I talked to the mod maker and apparently they just ported the maps from another mod.
You can explore the whole zone, including the new locations if you slect "open zone" when selecting new game, and uncheck story mode.
I tried that but couldn't find the level transitions.

Was he just the only guy that tried to add maps to anomaly or was there some difficult programing done for this?
Don't you just need Call of Pripyat SDK to make maps for Anomaly?
No these were two different mods. Others have tried but to my understanding it has to do with something about the map editor for Anomaly being broken hence why until now there have been no new maps for Anomaly for all these years.

I've been trying to come up with a good modlist for years but I always run into issues. Currently I'm using only a few addons.

And a few other bug fix ones.

Everything what I actually want - multiplayer mod with a soc/cop plot and efp/bas weapon packs / improved food, medicine animations mod support
They should add or swap the Lost Alpha Maps if possible
I would LOVE to see the Lost Alpha maps in Anomaly though we would need cars that actually work.
I'm pretty sure Anthology adds a few of them but that mod is a bit rough around the edges and doesn't seem to be a true freeplay
@@BrokenCircle1 Yeah, EFP Warfare plus those huge maps would truley be a tarkov/stalker war simulation. It would be my FPS slavophile gaming dream come true.
omg this is super cool!!! whats the best way to get anthology? i tried a while back but couldnt get it working for some reason.
Meh. It looks really cool, I love the sheer amount of levels and they all seem pretty varied and different from each other given how they look on the PDA, but not being able to visit all of them on one Character is a serious turn off for me personally. Hopefully the Anthology guys can figure something out or maybe work with the OG devs of those mods to see if they can "unlock" it for seamless play, or something. I'll definitely keep an eye on it though.

In my opinion stalker anomaly with all lost alpha maps should be best
I would love to see that especially maps like Forest, North Hills, and the Lost Alpha version of Garbage.
We would need cars though that actually work as those maps are all massive.

is the new levels mod compatible with GAMMA?
I don't know. I know for a fact it doesn't work with Old World (it crashes if you get a quest for one of the new areas) but I tried it with weird task framework which I think GAMMA has and that works fine thusfar.

Yeah sadly alot of Stalker mods feel that way. Anomaly isn't as bad as Lost Alpha with that but still I get were yourre coming from.

This is an addon for the mod called Stalker Anomaly.
Download both that and this mod then read the instructions to play. Hope this helps.

I don't think so though I wouldn't be surprised if the new maps got added to GAMMA at some point.
They are. You can just add them to moddb, but start a new game.
I played Anthology and I kinda hated it. A lot of the story modes have a linear path to take and if you deviate in any way to soft lock yourself from finish the rest of the quest. It's also buggy as shit with quest items disappearing and again, locking you out of the rest of the quest.
For me that was the biggest issue with anthology, playing very short mods on engine that is more suited for free exploration.

I don't know I really like the new levels though I agree the old levels leave alot to be desired in many cases.
Honestly the old ones and new ones don't mesh. The new ones have a much higher level of detail.

@@BrokenCircle1 Let's pretend this was mosquitos and butterflies. I'd recommend you to play the original games since you'll know a lot about stalker lore. Also I'd also recommend trying other mods than anomaly such as the MISERY mod or pretty much any mod you're interested in. Good hunting, stalker.

For your information I have played all three vanilla aside from Clear Sky which I had to install a bug fix patch for because it kept crashing.
I've also played loads of other mods and even featured one on the channel.
