Easy to install, just extract the game and than extract the gamedata folder into the games main directory
Follow the instruction in the video on how to best setup the game options
Now you can play the game
Important info!!!
After i uploaded the Pack i forgot that wet surfaces are disabled because i was using snow mod.
Be sure to go to Advanced option and scroll all the way down and check the box that say WET surfaces or else you will not see the effect on the ground when it's raining.
Another option to change in advanced video settings is STATIC OBJECTS set it to 3/4 don't set it to max!
I also forgot to tweak the 2D shader scopes.
When you are in game open the console command by pressing the key under the ESC and start typing SCOPE_FACTOR, you will see that command, than change the value to 0.7
Also type SCOPE_BLUR_INNER and set the value to 0
That's it....enjoy the game

I was able to install and run your Mod for a few hours today.
NO problems installing, thanks to your detailed setup guide.
The only issue I had was when restarting a couple times, the game was minimizing to desktop repeatedly.
I was able to solve this, by sneaking in a quick change to Borderless Screen Mode.
With a 2600X, a 2060 KO, on a SSD I was getting 70-90 FPS.

This is a damn amazing mod pack man, great work. I wish GAMMA would make use of some of these, but alas Grok and crew seem to have their own idea of what's cool or not for GAMMA. I hope more folks try this mod pack, good stuff.
The trouble with GAMMA & EFP is they pile on loads of mods that always cause conflicts & all sorts of crashes/bugs sooner or later during gameplay.
@@britexitengineer1407 to be fair I’ve had literally no issues with my Gamma mod pack that I couldn’t resolve on their discord, and most issues were minor things like trying to use mags redux. That being said, my Gamma has been smooth like butter, no hiccups whatsoever outside of the micro stutters the monolith engine itself has.

Important info!!!

I thought you did a good job talking about optimizations. I've seen a lot of people talk about performance gains and what worked for others didn't work for me.
Down sampling from 2k to 4k kills it for me and nividia controll panel aliasing options are taxing. Setting smaa to low or 2x like you did was preferable. Reminder to others that one overwrites the other and I hear smaa Is preferable. So keep only one aliasing option on and the other off.
Rendering distance is another one that gets overlooked like crazy. You don't even need it high. I can only think of instance where I could of used a view distance of about 3/4 and that's in zaton for an assassination and even then moving up a little solved the issue.
But that's not even maxed out and I'm able to see across one of the biggest maps in a VERY situational position. You don't need it set it half way or less and enjoy the fps boost. Static is good at three quarters with textures though you will get textures popping in sadly but very minor and worth it.
Dunno about dynamic keep it at three quarters like you and never ever seen some one appear out of nowhere so I guess it's free frames again.
The big killer is cpu usage though. Can't do anything about it. Fight duty at night in there headquarters and bam. That one core bottle necks my whole rig.
Anyways cool modpack. Anomaly has solid gameplay and doesn't really need a whole lot to make it fun anyways.
@Dario Ajducic Do you know if EFT reposition removed the alternate aim for pistols you did at 1:22?
@@hytues3355 in this pack the pistols have alternate aim.
For the winter pack i might make few different positions for pistols and assault rifles so there is more variations between different weapons.

i am so glad that modders are making anomaly easier to mod. iv been trying to mod GAMMA for weeks and simply keep messing up somewhere. this is how modding should be. find the pack/packs you want and drag and drop excellent work.
When anomaly first came out, I remember spending a year trying to perfect a modlist. Most of the great mods have issues playing nice with eachother due to the way files work in the game. I kept on having to practically remaking certain mods just to get them all working together, it was a pain in the ass. I started using EFP just because I could finally play with a bunch of my favorite mods without having to pick and choose between them. Gamma has been nice, I love the early progression, though I wish broken guns could still be bought and sold, if even for parts, it's be more realistic - but I still have been using it anyways, simply because it uses so many things that I would never have the patience to get working together. GAMMA has like 70 mods that are all simply mods that make other mods work together that the team came up with, and I appreciate it. But it's been nice to take a step back and play some simpler more Vanilla Anomaly with this pack.

@@BOTG_Adventures Ive been trying to do this by installing the bas \ jsrs merge mod but every variation Ive tried it gives a CTD when starting up. I'll give an update if I can figure it out.
@@rickdaddy07 I tried as well, had to reinstall everything. Thought his reshade might work but I couldn't get that to work either with gamma.

This mod pack is awesome. Less mods, more smooth gameplay and visuals, more immersion! its the sweet spot! Gamma and Efp are amazing mod packs but when you play with 300+ mods, the game its really hard to feels smooth, even when you have a 3090 ahah Great job dude keep it up!

@@CR00SWIJK Nice! I was referring to stream encoding, its a x64 engine with 300+ mods. I have no issues with fps, but its normal to have some stuttering sometimes. Either way Gamma is a amazing modpack too.

You can tweak the scope fog in console command.
Just press a button under the ESC key and it will open the console command.
Than start typing the word SCOPE
You will see a bunch of command that start with scope fog, there you can play with values ranging from 0 to 1
You can decrease or increase scope fog sway when moving

To those having issues with google drive quota exceeded error follow these simple steps:
-Sign into your google drive account and make a new folder example "downloads" can be anything you want.
-Click on the download link provided here
-Before clicking on google drive link for download make a shortcut (top right corner of the screen) and add it to the newly created folder.
-Go back to your google drive and right click on the folder and select download. This method will bypass quota limits and Google will zip the file and make it downloadable.

@@EmbryYOYO Worked first time for me after an hour of attempting to download the traditional way and getting the error. Make sure you are downloading the folder that you sent the shortcut to, not the shortcut (file) inside the folder. If you did that and it still doesn't work I don't know what else to tell you. I'm having so much more fun with this modpack than EFP or G.A.M.M.A for some reason... only problem is, I crash in jupiter but besides that it's amazing, great work.
Gonna have to check that crash in Jupiter, might be related to THAP mod...maybe it needs patch

Feedback @Dario .. Absolutely Stunning, easy to install, Modpack. Ill play a lot of Gamma, try EFP and Expdetion..this modpack has the perfect Gameplay Balance and Graphics....just one thing maybe could "better"...a modern look of the inventory, hud and symbols...it is possible to add mods manuel?

First thing I noticed was that the Acog isn't running on 2D shader scopes, but instead a 3D model that zooms the whole screen in but still the scope is tiny lol. I got so used to EFP and GAMMA, is that not normally included in 2D scopes? Or is there a way to swap it?Also, I just want to say thank you! This modpack is a blessing with how vanilla it stays, while adding all the little touches that set it apart from the stiff joints of vanilla anomaly. This pack is a godsend to someone who just wanted a modpack that had guns in vendors and didnt make me fumble in inventory to add bullets or alt-click mags

Open your Reshade overlay, go to the Settings tab and down the bottom you will find the "Show FPS" option to untick.

hey im new to all this Stalker Anomaly mods thing. Thanks for the great package, really enjoying the visual of it. I have a question. The modern weapons in your video (ie: M4) are they included in your mod pack ? If not, where can I download them and do I just put the file in with the game data folder ?
Weapon is already included in the podpack, no need to install it separately

started off playing efp, got lost in the zone for weeks, loved the experience but i couldn’t stand the crazy fps drops and constant stutters. my game looks beautiful now, for some reason the ai feel like theyre behaving and fighting better and also harder ! which i love! i started my UNISG playthrough with this modpack and im amazed at how immersed ive gotten, once again thank you, youve brought me back to the zone
also if i wanna add mods on top of yours, would it mess it up? if i connect it to mo2 will it mess it up? hopefully that makes sense , i know there’s certain mods that should only be installed through mo2
one last thing , how do you toggle your scope ?
@@CryptoKage7 you can try adding mods with MO2, not sure how it's going to work as i haven't tried it.
Toggling scopes with a underbarrell grenade launcher key, but not all weapons have that feature.

This mod pack is amazing man, its the best for the pure stalker experience. There were a few things i had to change, godmode and unlimited ammo were on. But you can turn them off in the console for anyone wondering.
Forgot the debug mode was activated, thats why godmode was on.
I use debug mode and goodmode when i make cinematic scenes.
Just uncheck debug mode in startup window to play without god mode and unlimited ammo.

This is a great looking mod pack. I really like everything about it except for one mod that's included ... the HD human models (i know, I"m goofy, i like the classic stalker style). Is it possible to manually remove just that mod, or will that mess other things up. No big deal if not. Thanks for all the hard work, and I"m looking forward to the winter pack!

Great modpack my friend I played it a bit yesterday and its absolutely amazing. When I'm home Ima gonna add a couple of QOL mods that I've used on other mods and can not go without anymore after experiencing them. Do you have any suggestions for mods not to add that'll break this modpack?

How do you add more mods in the modpack? Beacuse its all in gamedata. I wanted to add magsRedux, but didnt know how
@@clanusvers2172 use jsgme provided in the mod pack to add mods or you can do mo2 i did and worked fine. Just be aware of all the mods in this to know what mods to add and the compatibility patches needed to not conflict with the mods already in it.

this is amazing and its refreshing to have the process open in a way that the user can access the files easily (trying to tweak files in GAMMA is a huge pain in the ass) - just one question, did you disable anomaly's 'main story' and if so is there a way to reenable it?
nevermind, my bad i guess it just starts without the normal sidorovitch dialogue im used to or i wasnt paying attention. this is really impressive how it looks better than most other repacks and runs equivalent/better along with my favorite part, having access to files without having to root around through 12 different self-contained file folders
@@garethelder7715 this modpack contains main story from Call of Chernobyl.
Be sure to have a good armour and a sniper with lots of ammo at the end because you will need it.
@@cinemadario tbh i always preferred that storyline to anomaly's anyways, it seemed to fit the freeform post-trilogy character feel a lot better

Really want to try out this modpack. Unfortunately, all the download links are giving me exceeded quota. Dario can you upload it to Mega or something similar with no limitations. I would appreciated. If not, it's cool. I'll just have to wait until whenever google drive decides to let me download them. BTW, good job on the modpack and vid. Looks really good.

Is there still anything you need to enable/disable as you change environments such as above ground to below ground or dry weather to wet weather or is all that sorted or gone now? I know it was one of the bug bears of an otherwise amazing looking Stalker experience that kinda turned me off your mod pack as once I start a playthrough, I don't wan't to have to keep tweaking mod and reshade settings for different areas. I just want to play uninterrupted :D
You dont have to change anything in the reshade, just enable wet surfaces in game option, i forgot that was disabled before i upload it as i was using snow mod so i had it disabled.
And also un check the debug mode in startup window so you don't play in god mode.
@@cinemadario thanks Dario, I just remember from an old video of yours where you had to disable SSR or something when it wasn’t raining so you didn’t get a weird effect on your weapons. Been playing some Gamma but always been super keen to play your Stalker setup due to the visuals, immersion and visceral experience your collection of mods creates. No need to enable or disable wet surfaces as now there is a mod that does that, when it rains the ground will be wet and there will be water puddles.

A Question by the way..the "toogle hud" .. everytime ill switch them on, there is a "demo" lettering..any option to remove them?

@@b4s1s Call of Chernobyl is a mod, so just for clarification it has nothing to do with the original trilogy. Also I'd argue BaS + more mutants changes the gameplay a lot.
This is my new favorite Anomaly MODPACK! I am loving it! Just one question, how do I go about changing how the PDA displays all the NPCs. In GAMMA you only see important spots in towns and here I can see even patrolling NPC squads. I don't want to know where everyone is like this. How do I change it?

Dario, I've been enjoying playing the mod pack you created. Thank you so much. However, I have a question - even though I turned on the story mode, I can't see any dialogue options related to the story quest when I talk to Sidorovich in the Cordon Village. Is it because of a certain mod? Could you please let me know how I can play the story quest?
Story mode is different in this modpack, you need to go to the great swamp and talk to the doctor, he will give you all the quests

Dude this mod is so cool ! many thanks. it's really better than in vanilla, unlike other graphic modpacks that make the game ugly. On the other hand, do you know if it is possible to install a French translation patch without causing troubles ?

You have to download this Anomaly as it it contains lots of stuff in bin folder, addons folder, mod, folder and has new exe files for scopes and water puddles.
Gamedata will not work unless you have this modified Anomaly game

Hey, hello there! I've just downloaded your pack and I have to say it's gorgeous. Let me suggest at least two more mods to add more immersion, IMAO.
1) NPC_Loot_Claim - you cannot claim the loot of someone you have not killed or the legitimate killer will shoot at you...
2) animation_for_looting_takes_time_1.3 - looting takes time! You can set it with AMCM but I think it's more thrilling knowing that you have to wait for some seconds before you can find all the loot of a corpse!

lol, I will answer my own question... I installed the 1.5.2 update and installed your mod pack, and so far, everything seems to be working well. Just some ino or anyone that was asking the same question.

You need to use the Anomaly 1.5.1. i included in the download for all the mods to work because the included version has tweaked reshade, textures, dynamic mutants and other stuff.
If you are using 1.5.2. version you will probably experience crash eventually and check the options in game settings, if you don't see dynamic mutants option you are not running the mods correctly

this is FANTASTIC. im averaging 100 fps thru everything (I was lucky to get 25 fps when combat was happening in GAMMA). Runs smooth as butter and looks amazing. Only question I have is the PDA. When I open the PDA it displays every single mutant and NPC which breaks immersion considering I can see anything that might potentially be creeping up on me. Any way to turn it off? I looked in the settings but didnt find anything. Other than that thank you so much man I really appreciate you uploading this version. its my go-to way to play stalker now.
Debug menu is activated, thats why you can see every AI on the map, you are invincible and have unlimited ammo.
Disable the debug menu by unchecking the box in the startup window.
Forgot it was left enabled, i use it when recording cinematic videos

Are you still enjoying it? I've gone from gamma to efp bc if stuttering and bugs and crashing but I'm not liking the look of it and I was getting used to gamma, tired of messing with mods.
@@desider7973 I've messed with every single mod pack that exists for this game. Trying to find the one that runs the smoothest. I will tell you right now from personal experience Expedition is what you're looking for. It looks fantastic and only uses the essential mods. I've had by far the best performance with it. Great Video! One Question tho, in "The Zone" -> "General" there are no options for me to change regarding the dynamic mutants. Do you know why this might be the case? Would very grateful for some help right here :D Thanks in advance
Did you use zip to extract the files?
Zip can make folder within folder.
Open the gamedata folder, if you see another gamedata folder inside than that is the problem

hello Dario, thanks for a great job! I started another adventure ... I have a question, I don't know what I did wrong, but in the lower right corner of the screen I have the word DEMO. how to remove it?
That means you are playing the game in debug mode.
Demo means you are in godmode, you can not die.
When you start the game in the first startup window uncheck the box that says Debug mode or just open the debug mode while in game by pressing f7 and find the good mode option and mouse click on it to disable it.
When you disable it you demo will no longer be visible, best is to play the game without the debug mode or else you might have unlimited ammo activated and enemy's will not shoot at you if that is also activated

Hello Dario, not sure you will get this because it has been a few years since you made this Modpack. I am not seeing any options or sliders for all the new Mutants and others you have put in the pack... have I loaded something wrong... not getting what you showed in the tutorial... Great video and just trying out the mod now.. thanks in advance.
